This place was a nice get away from the city a hidden gem, the food was good and well priced 2400 for rice with vegetables salad water and 2 ginger teas. The music it self was cool and chilling they rotated performers which kept thing interesting. Was treated well as a tourist. Highly recommend the music tends to start at 7 30 pm

I tried the Doro Wot but unfortunately it didn’t meet my expectations. I also found the prices to be on the higher side compared to other traditional restaurants. On the positive side, the atmosphere is pleasant and does reflect a traditional vibe. Personally, I don’t think I will be visiting again.

2000 Habesha Cultural Restaurant delivers the full Ethiopian experience – delicious, authentic food paired with excellent live cultural music and dances that are simply amazing. If you’re visiting Addis for tourism, this place is a must. The restaurant is clean, well-organized, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Location is convenient, prices are excellent, and the overall value is unbeatable. A perfect spot to enjoy Ethiopia’s flavors, sounds, and traditions all in one place.

They say this is most the authentic Ethiopian restaurant in whole Addis Ababa. I cannot disagree, but I didnt saw them much. I just know the food, the very same food we ate the day before was spmehow even better then here, and for sure it was cheaper. But, here atmosphere is very alive, you have dancers, singers, so it's more about that then food in my opinion. We ordered a lot of food, we ate everything, you will not exit hungry from here. For 3 of us bill was 5229 birrs (in August 2024 that was 86€ + tip). Edut: In May 2025 5229 birrs is 35€. Inflation? Yes.

Nice experience for a non-local, to discover Ethiopian food, music and dance. The show was great with excellent musicians, singers and dancers. The dancers are very impressive. The restaurant is spacious and you can even join the stage to dance at some point, which is fun. Food was good. As a group, we had lots of meat and vegetable dishes served on a large injera, from which we to ate collectively with our hands. A fun experience if you have an open mind.

one of the best night-outs i had. music, ambience, dance, culture, food, and service all receive my 5-star. the entire crowd comprising of various ethnicities, religions, family, young, old, men, women all enjoyed the food and booze and joined the performers. a great cultural experience. i rarely square the place with 5 stars. make this your to-go place
