22 Summits Boutique Hotel

Amazing hotel! The location is perfect as it's off the main street but only a 10-15 minute walk from the train station (but VERY close to the Glacier Paradise cable car). The view of the Matterhorn from the room is incredible (we had dinner on the balcony and would look at the Matterhorn every morning and every evening). The spa was amazing (very clean, modern, and a few different rooms). Breakfast was also great (fresh made eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, and muesli!) I will happily return!

22 Summits is an adorable boutique hotel that's modern yet has rustic mountain flare. We were on the second floor and had a view of Matterhorn from our balcony, but I think the view would be even better on one of the higher floors. We enjoyed using all parts of the spa. The ladies at the front were very helpful as well as the rest of the staff. There's a cute bar in the front that we were able to enjoy cocktails in the evening and the complementary breakfast was absolutely amazing. One thing we missed in the email was that they have complementary shuttle service from the train station and that would've been helpful. We ended up rolling our bags all the way there which took about 15 minutes, so if you choose this hotel, please know they have complementary shuttle service. Easy walk to gondola. We would definitely stay here again:)

Beautiful hotel! This one of our most favorite stays in Switzerland. The property is gorgeous, well cared for and staff were friendly and attentive. The view from our balcony was like something out of a photograph. After longs days on our feet the spa was absolute perfection! They had a small cozy bar and a breakfast buffet. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We just returned from a 3 week vacation in Switzerland. 22 Summits was a very comfortable and well-run hotel. The room was lovely. It was rustic/modern. Nice bathroom and comfortable beds. The was adequate storage space and a safe|for valuables. Breakfast was copious and delicious. Some staff were friendlier than others. But everyone was quite busy (Zermatt is overrun with tourists in the summer).|We enjoyed a super view of the Matterhorn. The hotel is close to cable cars and to hiking paths (Trift, Zmut, Schwarzee, etc.)

Excellent location. Is at a short walk from the busy center and that makes it nice and quiet. The rooms facing South offer a wonderful view of the Matterhorn. Very nice fresh breakfast is server and the bar has a nice mood to it. The SPA is nice, very clean and very tranquille.

A true boutique hotel gem tucked away in Winkelmatten, near the gondola station and beautiful hiking trails - away from the Zermatt tourist crowds. It's a 10-minute walk to town or a 3-minute ride on the complimentary "green bus." We slept with the balcony door open to the soothing sound of a nearby mountain stream. Beautifully comfortable rooms and bathrooms with a tub and shower, a modern but cozy lobby and a relaxing spa / wellness area. A restaurant / dinner on site would be great (they have a pop up restaurant but only on certain days in the summer).

We stayed in Zermatt after completing the Haute Route in April. We booked 22 Summits on Expedia not knowing the hotel. It was a nice surprise since the hotel had the most friendly staff, clean and modern rooms, and their spa facility was amazing. The family provided breakfast every morning with a nice array at the freshly prepared buffet. One thing that really stood out was the hospitality of the family (especially Rachel) and their dedicated staff (Caroline in particular). We arrived just prior to a once in a lifetime storm that knocked out power and access to Zermatt for 72 hours. Everyone at the hotel went above and beyond to help accommodate their guests under extraordinary circumstances. The way they handled their guests with such a personalized service made us feel at home. I most certainly will return to Zermatt and this would be the first hotel I would choose for my vacation. Thank you for the hospitality and making us feel like family during our stay. Hopefully next time there won't be a crazy storm so we are able to ski the mountains!

Excellent place. The staff were incredibly friendly, and went above and beyond to help us. There was a free breakfast which was nice. We had a Matterhorn facing room which I would recommend. Parking and travel to the hotel from Täsch is very easy.

I think that this hotel is fairly new, which is why it doesn't have any reviews or photos yet. This place was one of the best that we stayed in while in Zermatt, and we even stayed at the Riffelhaus! The hotel has nice finishes, kind of modern mountain style, and our room was on the top floor with wood beam paneled vaulted ceilings. The bath tub was big enough for both of us, and the spa amenities were great. There is a humid sauna, dry sauna, upstairs sauna and outdoor hot tub, and a massage treatment room. The bartender gave us a Welcome drink (you can choose from prosecco, beer, or wine), and we got a cocktail afterwards as well. Mine was the 22 Summit cocktail which was a cucumber refresher and it was one of the best cocktails that I had the entire time I was in Zermatt. Staying here made us not want to leave, and I wish we had stayed here another night before our trip ended! Great hotel.

If you want a hotel room with a stunning view, this is your place! I'm currently located on the top floor with an unobstructed view of the Matterhorn and let me tell you, I can spend hours upon hours starting at its beauty! Checking in was super easy. The front staff is super sweet and walked us to the room, helping us with our luggage. A warm welcome after walking outside in the cold. The room itself is awesome. It's a bit bigger than I thought it would be, which is a total plus! My only complaint is that there isn't too much room for large suitcases. Other than that, I love it. Bed firmness is perfect. Similar to my bed at home. Soft top layer but firm base mattress. Not too firm, just right! The spa is small but very clean and relaxing. The jacuzzi is a nice size and has a beautiful view is the snow covered rooftops. Breathtaking! The location to me is ideal! It's about a 15 minute walk from the city center, but the streets are quiet and peaceful. Which is what I wanted! Overall, this place has been amazing so far! I'm hoping for some fresh snowfall during my 4 night stay here. Elsa, let it goooo! Quick Tips: 1. Staff is very good at respond to emails. They answered all my questions prior to arrival. 2. Book 4 nights or more and save!

This hotel was a great find on every level! An intimate and stylish boutique hotel in a quiet area just beyond the busy/noisy center of Zermatt with drop dead views of the Matterhorn. This is the view from our balcony. We agree completely with both reviews posted and would add that the staff was wonderfully accommodating and friendly. We loved our stay here and can't wait to go back.
