23 Social Newtown

We were stating nearby and decided to head into Newtown for the evening. We saw 23social and loved the modern, casual vibes. The brie bites were delicious, and the nachos were super yummy - but super filling. We then got our mains. My partner got the cajun chicken burger and I had the lamb and mint burger, with the mac n cheese on the side. My burger was excellent but my partner was so full, he could barely touch his main. I left almost all my chips and the mac and cheese. We took our food to go, and later that evening I made a mac n cheese loaded fries which was super delicious! The milkshakes were nice too! The staff were attentive and the food was quick, although we went early on a thursday evening, so probably wasn't peak times. Would definitely be a regular if we lived locally - the drag brunches sound so fun!

Very disappointing wait times. Had to wait half an hour for drinks, another hour after for starters, and another hour after that for the main meal. Noticed another group arriving after us and being served before us, despite us booking ahead. Also noticed another couple leave after waiting for at least 45 mins. The food was of decent quality once we got it though. They gave us 10% off the bill for the wait but that wasn't really worth a spoilt dinner and making my grandad wait 2 and a half hours for literally any food.

Excellent meal had! Very impressed by the choices for gluten free food. The service was quick and efficient - would definitely recommend!

Myself and my partner found this place last Thursday evening. The food was amazing. We wasn’t waiting long at all. And the staff were very welcoming and helpful. I am an amputee and was surprised that they even had an elevator to access the bathrooms. I will recommend this to all. Thanks for a lovely evening

Food was great, staff were friendly and attentive, venue is modern and clean. When we visit Newtown this is the place we always come. Great job.

Visited here for the first time while holidaying nearby for the week. Looked very appealing from the outside with some lovely lighting and modern and inviting. Was relatively quiet but it was midweek. We both had a beef burger with a drink and it was great. Good service, food was hot and perfectly cooked. Had nothing to complain about at all and would highly recommend to others. Will certainly return when we are next back in the area.

Lovely clean venue with kind staff, brought our dog a bowl of water over within a minute or 2 of us coming in, nice drinks and food took 20-30 mins to arrive and was presently very nicely, the food was also very tasty and a lot of it seemed homemade, we had bbq pork ribs and the Cajun chicken burger. We wish we could've had dessert but we had no room left after the generous portions, 10/10 would visit more if we were local but as visitors from Middlesbrough we massively enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend this to any one else visiting the area who is looking for somewhere dog friendly.

Great for dog-dates! If you haven’t visited 23 Social lately, give it another go. The service is so much better, food is tasty and it’s big enough to find a quiet corner for a large doggo - you even get a cute little jar of treats (thank you Lauren!) There’s not many places to eat in Newtown after 3pm so that’s another plus for me!
