24 Guesthouse Sinchon

Booked here since the location was optimal. It was indeed close to Sinchon station, and there were plenties of restaurantsts/convenience stores around. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out process was super smooth. Room was clean and AC worked flawlessly. Shower room/ toilet was clean too.Overall, this was an absolute bargain considering the price. If I were to visit Seoul as a solo traveler again, I would seriously consider booking here again.

The guesthouse is located around 5 minutes away from the exit of Sinchon Metro station, convenient for travellers. Also located at the busy Yonsei-ro, Sinchon shopping district, many food and shopping options around. Check-in: Process was easy. Scan QR code to text manager via WhatsApp to receive room number and passcode to enter.Room: Space sufficient for solo traveller. Bed was not the comfiest. Toilet was small and hard to work around with. Cleanliness is so-so. Hairdryer, shampoo and body wash, and toothbrush with toothpaste provided in room. Can't complain much for a room of this price.Cost: Cost-efficient especially for its location and the amenities provided.

My stay started out disastrous because this is one of those self-check-in places which I cannot stand. The check-in codes and room information usually gets sent out while you are traveling and not in touch with wifi at all. Well, I am one of those people that refuse to buy a data plan, so I was stuck in the narrow alley outside and couldn't get in quickly. I arrived well after the time allowed to enter, but without wifi, data, or people there, it took a while to get in. I must have been very tired not to notice the self-check-in fact. I see it is very clearly stated actually. And I was very tired as well when I arrived there. However, the room was neat and comfortable, with wifi and everything else. I had made a two-night booking, and enjoyed my stay very much! After that rickety start. I can recommend this place to people with data plans, which is probably everyone.

They put me on 5th floor for single stay, no elevator which is normal in Korea budget stay like that. But washing machine is not working! I booked this place becuz the description has washing machine, so be careful if you book with them. On this experience itself is awful. The space is enough for one, bed is ok, public space like kitchen pantry in the 3rd floor is well equipped and very clean. There weren’t any people in the front desk office, u gotta pickup the keys on the desk yourself (I stated for roughly 2 weeks & there’re foreigners confused how to check-in. Please check your email / Trip app message they would send the Room Number. But I didn’t get email nor message from them before my check-in, my friend books other room has gotten message from them, my arrival wasn’t smooth.

The location is just amazing about 5 mins walk to subway exit 3. Room size is ok for one traveler. Many restaurants by walking distance even after midnight. Cleaning needs to be improved but not too bad. Hot water is not working properly, so it’s a bit annoying. You will hear the sound of a dragging chair, so please be careful when you want to move yours. Towel is too small but I think this is a Korean style, however it doesn’t absorb the water well😅Anyway, it is kind of worth for the price you pay. If they can pay more attention to the cleanliness, that would be great.

Air-conditioner was leaking, toilet is clogged and the water couldn't go down, it's like flooding even if it's just a quick shower, I stayed in 5th floor before I requested to move down to 3rd floor, the washibg machine in the room at 5th floor wasn't working, despite in their description says washing machine is available, and because of that I booked with them, it's a half month stay for me and I really rely on washing machine to do my laundry! Called them and they said the washing machine in other rooms is broken as well! For those planning for a long stay, be careful!

I chose this place because of the good location and price. The room is small, but good for one person. Of the pluses: there was conditioner, shampoo, shower gel, hair conditioner, shower slippers, 2 towels, napkins, toilet paper, refrigerator, hair dryer.Of the minuses: there were stains on the walls, a half-broken hanger for things, a lot of dust under the bed, dirty windows.

If you’re not fussed abt your accommodations (only sleeping, not expecting great facilities) and if you’re in a budget, this could be an option as the location is really good. But the location is about the only thing going for this accoms as the room itself leaves much to be desired. The walls have mold spots, the toilet is 1sqm and you can barely move in it and the bedsheets and towels provided are kinda dubious looking. I’ve stayed at other hostels in the same chain and this is honestly the worst one I’ve stayed at. Personally I wouldn’t want to stay here again, may look for other accoms in the same area instead.
