250 Grammi Food & Wine Bar

If you are looking for opulent Italian food with a view, look no further. 250 Grammi has won us over with their lovely staff, delectable traditional Italian pizza and home made pasta that is leaps and bounds beyond delicious. We decided to sample a tiramisu between us and instantly regretted not saving more room for a full serve each. Everything we have ordered from stuffed olives wrapped in Italian sausage to savoury zeppole have taken us on a culinary excursion through the Italian mountains down to the Mediterranean Sea and back. Looking forward to going back and experiencing the oasis of flavours again soon!

Exceptional service tonight, seated without a booking, food was excellent with wonderful flavors and the shared vibe for all the menu items was greatly enjoyed by all of our guests, the pizza was exceptional, broccolini perfect, also the unique drink options were greatly enjoyed. I love this place - the staff are simply fabulous, engaging with patrons in just the right way. Best Negronis ever, cleverly served with a giant ice block as centrepiece…. And garlic focaccia to go with it. Divine Caprese salad, perfectly delicious four cheeses Gnocchi , and Tiramisu to finish up. Always a great music vibe too! It was a very satisfying meal indeed. What was also impressive, was the wine we particularly wanted was just out of stock. We were still considering our options in this regard, when the waiter came back with a triumphant smile on his face. He had found a magnum of the wine somewhere out the back, and offered to pour half of it into a (very stylish) decanter - would we like that? Yes indeed we would - and a very generous half magnum it was too! This restaurant is deservingly popular all year round, with locals in the quieter periods (like February), helping to even out the seasonal fluctuations, and the staff making everyone feel special.

Nice enough food no wow factor though sadly. Pizza with salami & eggplant was ok. Not amazing. Zucchini flowers the filling was disappointing. Small portions for the prices charged.

We had an incredible dinner last night. The food was amazing! Great atmosphere! The service was wonderful, from every staff member on. All working hard, and with a smile. Special shout out to Danielle, who was looking after our table. She was fantastic and a great asset. Thankyou for a lovely evening out.

Great food, drinks, people. But the music is a little loud to have a conversation.

Absolutely delicious food and very attentive, friendly service. We felt like we were in Italy. The pizza and calzone were great, as were the cocktails. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely lunch at 250g, it was so special to be served by such knowledgeable staff. Food was delicious, service was excellent without being in your face.
