The 25hours Hotel Frankfurt clearly wants to be hip, young, and lifestyle-driven — and on the surface, it succeeds. The design is bold, playful, and very much Instagram-ready.
However, the reality doesn’t quite live up to the concept.
On weekends, the music from the bar in the inner courtyard is far too loud, to the point where resting or sleeping becomes difficult. When I mentioned this at reception, I was told that the music is “part of the lifestyle experience.” For a hotel, that response feels completely beside the point. A lifestyle shouldn’t come at the expense of basic comfort.
Adding to that, the under blankets are made of plastic, which is surprising and uncomfortable — and also feels out of sync with the hotel’s supposedly conscious, modern image.
In short: lots of attitude, strong branding, but not enough attention to the essentials. Style is great, but comfort still matters.
