"Nobody has done more to showcase the fun side of German hospitality than the 25hours hotel group. And it’s only natural that Munich, that most relaxed of German cities, should feature 25hours in a particularly playful mood. 25hours Hotel the Royal Bavarian, to give it its full name, is located at the literal heart of the city, in what were once the Imperial Post and Telegraph offices, attached to Munich’s central rail station." - Tablet Hotels

Where to stay and what to eat in Munich - SilverKris

"Opposite Munich’s main railway station, this hotel playfully riffs on the quirks of Bavarian aristocracy while offering practical perks like on-site bike and Mini hire; its Swan Suite is a roomy 46 sqm and includes a king-sized bed." - Alexander Wolff

This hotel was in a great location in Munich. It was central to everything and right across the street from the main train station which made it easy to travel. The hotel itself is very quirky and eclectic. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the bar that is part of the hotel was so good and very popular. The rooms were small with little space for any luggage or things. The bed and pillows also weren't the best and only one pillow was provided for each person. The sink was outside the bathroom right next to the bed - quirky but also very nice when sharing a room since you could get ready while someone else was showering or using the toilet. There was more than enough counter space too for makeup and toiletries. The shower was nice and had shampoo, shower gel and body lotion provided but no conditioner. The water pressure was great. There was a separate room with the toilet. I would recommend this hotel since you can't beat the location or price especially in Munich.

Our stay at 25Hours in Munich was simply extraordinary from start to finish. |It was the attentiveness and friendliness of the entire staff. From check-in to departure, we were treated with incredible courtesy and helpfulness—we immediately felt very welcome.||The hotel's location is also excellent. The old town with its sights, transport links, and restaurants is only a few minutes' walk away, which made our stay very pleasant. ||Overall, we would like to highlight the following positive aspects: the ideal location for train travelers, the very friendly staff, the entertaining room design and the overall ambience, the excellent breakfast buffet, the very nice rooms with great and creative furnishings, the very comfortable beds, the free minibar, the many little extras, and the option of late check-in/check-out. ||We also feel that frequent travelers are respected, as we were asked about this by the staff when we checked out, who always showed genuine hospitality. It is an example of attentiveness that can be summed up with the following slogan: “The only difference between ordinary and extraordinary is a little extra.” ||We can highly recommend the 25Hours Hotel as a “little world unto itself.” It was a fantastic experience that exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Munich.

Had a wonderful stay at this quirky and comfortable hotel. Perfectly located at Hauptbahnhof for trains, trams and buses - literally on the doorstep.|A busy and atmospheric upstairs bar served late drinks to residents and locals and added a lively atmosphere to the general ambiance and breakfast was delicious if a bit pricey as it's not included on the headline room cost.|Rooms clean and spacious and staff throughout were super hospitable and efficient.|We had a fabulous, cultural and culinary stay in Munich and the Christmas market season was just getting underway. Alt stadt is just a walk away with it's medieval architecture, breath taking cathedrals and busy pedestrianised shopping centres off Marienplatz.|Theatre, dance, flea markets, schnitzel and gluhwein all topped off with a celebratory meal at Brenner restaurant. Couldn't have been better. Thank you all at 25hours Hotel.

Google
Location is ofc great to access. The Hotel self is very poorly lit, it's actually always dark inside and also at the restaurant. The decorations are a matter of taste for sure and I let it out of the review, but it definitely didn't meet my personal taste. Some objects felt very awkward to me, like dead animal heads hanging on the walls or a chair on the reception that had swan heads around it. The conference room Muschelkammer is not very comfortable for events that last more than a couple of hours. Terrible uncomfortable chairs, no windows to the outside (atrium only), loud noises from the restaurant most of the time and the dark candle light atmosphere makes you tired very quick.

Google
Quirky hotel right near Central Station in Munich. Everything about the hotel is interesting & different with its decor & furniture. The Staff were a happy & engaging crew and the Breakfast was top notch. |The location is convenient but with no fault of the hotel, the immediate surrounds (like all major railway stations) has some dodgy looking characters around

Loved this hotel. So quirky and unique yet very comfortable and functional. The Boilerman bar was fabulous and had a brilliant vibe. In a great location. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and would love to return in the future.

Google
Clean, very good restaurant, nice room and warm duvet. Very good location albeit also very Tenderloin-ish (not subtle). Very convenient by train from airport. If youre a coffee lover BIG bummer is no coffee in room. Coffee bar not open early. 40 euro to upgrade from good to superior room w coffee. What?! Dont even miserable hotels offer bad coffee?! And if you dont sign up for a 29euro breakfast options quite constrained. No worry, Munich has superb craft coffees w kuche within 1 to 2 km!

We chose this hotel because of its location next to the main railway station. What we didn’t know is that the area is being heavily redeveloped. The work continues into the 2030’s. We were however grateful for the short distance we needed to walk with suitcases in tow. |The hotel is full of quirky design features some of which we liked some of which we didn’t. We particularly thought a large antique style stool in a fairly small lift was inappropriate. On the plus side the staff were all very helpful and pleasant
