Stylish, modern and with a personality. The staff know the meaning of the word hospitality. We're travelling with our dog and this is the first hotel that went out of their way to welcome dogs: They provide a dog bed + bowls and we highly recommend booking a room with garden access if you're travelling with a dog.

Really good two night stay here in July 2025. We had an extra large room which was comfortably spacious and had a great view of the surrounding waters. The bed was large and the open plan bathroom, although a little different, was actually very pleasant. (see pics) The location is great, only about a 10min walk from Nyhavn, but felt pretty quiet. You can even jump into the water behind the hotel in a secluded area, rather than the other side of the island, which was full of locals swimming on a hot day. Didn't have breakfast included so can't comment on the food, although there were a few drinks and small snacks included in the room fridge, topped up daily. There was no room service (only every 3 days) but you could ring and ask for extra towels or anything else you might need.

This is friendly hotel in a good quiet location but close to everything. The hotel and the rooms were beautifully decorated but the curtains let in a lot of light so take a sleep mask! The pillows weren’t comfortable at all and there is no conditioner so take that if you need it. Breakfast was good. I had the room to myself which was good as there is no privacy for the shower at all. The staff were all friendly and on the whole we enjoyed our stay but due to pillows and light we didn’t sleep well and probably for that reason wouldn’t’ stay there again.

For me personally, I didn’t find this hotel nice. Not convenient travelling with small kids at all. No real room service they have nothing they do nothing they outsource everything to the restaurant which isn’t keen on servicing hotel guests if their requests are outside their menu which is quite specific Thai food. There is no bathroom the shower is near your bed so if one person is sleeping, the other one cannot take a shower without disrupting. Location is quite good. The views from the rooms is very nice and the bedsheets and pillows are quite comfortable.

one of the best hotels i have ever stayed at. the premises are modern with artistic touch. the room's shower was large which is a huge plus. the design of rooms and entire hotel is splendid. service was amazing and location is perfect since you are next to the nyhavn but away from the busy/loud spots/restaurants. highly recommend. i truly loved this hotel. the room was very clean as well.

Great hotel in a hip and fun location! I was worried we would be far from things to do, but Paper Island is incredibly cool. There is a whole area with food trucks across the canal and the locals all hang out on the large steps to go swimming and picnic. It is super fun and really charming. Doesn’t feel touristy at all, and it’s so easy to get anywhere else in the city. The bikes available for rent were a big plus. There was no conditioner in the shower, but you can ask at the front desk and they’ll give you a beautiful glass jar of conditioner. I would absolutely stay here again! P.S. Highly recommend walking to Confecture Copenhagen for gelato (or hot chocolate in the winter!).

I usually don’t write long reviews, but my stay at the 25hours Hotel Paper Island in Copenhagen was so enjoyable I had to make an exception. The staff here is extraordinary—calm, super friendly, and genuinely helpful. Nothing ever seemed like a problem (I mean the IT outage :) ) The location couldn’t be better, perfectly positioned for exploring the city. My room was charming, comfortable, and had an amazing view of the harbor. The breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of delicious options. Definitely don’t miss dinner at their Tiger Lilly restaurant—the food, atmosphere and service were fantastic. And once again, a big thank you to the wonderful staff! Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Fab location not completely in the centre but a nice walk to it. Room was so cosy and well decorated and finished. We had a great view over the opera house. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and we were delighted to be able to check in really early. Paid extra for breakfast one day which was nice. Victory bar on top floor did tasty cocktails with gorgeous views over Copenhagen.
