Yelp
One of the best corner stores I've encountered in San Francisco. SF, like many big cities, relies on corner stores to serve all the people who don't live within convenient distance of a big name store like Safeway, Target, etc.
This is a corner store unlike many others. Approaching the storefront exterior and interior displays, it looks almost like a permanent farmer's market. Stacks of beautiful fresh green broccoli, cauliflower, ears of corn, carrots, lettuce, spinach, turnips, mushrooms, fresh herbs, fruit, you name it. The produce here is top notch, better than many supermarkets.
The orange juice they sell is fresh squeezed and bottled on site in the back, and is delicious. Ziploc bags of hand peeled garlic they also process on site are a great convenience for cooking.
Wide selection of beer, wine, kombucha, soft drinks. Dry goods such as pasta, rice, beans, canned goods, baking goods, toiletries speciality items. Despite it being a relatively small store, I rarely have difficulty finding a product I'm seeking here.
The one thing I will forewarn shoppers is that they do not really have a fresh meat selection. Precooked items like sandwich meat, bacon, and smoked salmon are available, but staples like uncooked ground beef, chicken breasts, pork loin, fish, etc are not. Fortunately there happens to be a fresh meat market next door, called A.K meats.
