This place was previously listed in the Michelin Guide Book and so my friends and I thought it’s one of the restaurants we should come and visit once we’re in Thailand. And true enough, it didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Signature Menu No.1 and the beef was indeed tender, and the rice complemented the beef properly. One thing though is that the coriander taste might not work for other people, so maybe this might not be the go-to-place for people who don’t like that particular herb.

Braised Beef Rice Pot with an extra Cured Egg Yolk and Pan-Seared Beef Bao at this cool Hong Kong/Cantonese vibe place is just the bomb. Jumped in late so menu was limited but can’t complain, still lots to choose from. So based on small talk with chef decided to start with their Pan-Seared Beef Bao - the lime on the side gave it that perfect kick. Moved to main dish, the Braised Beef Rice Pot topped with a Cured Egg Yolk - the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and that salty/fishy dip with a squeeze of lime took it to another level. Love how they’ve done up the place with industrial brick walls and an open kitchen. Great vibes, awesome service, and killer food - what more could you want? Definitely a must-visit. Accessible easily via Sam Yat MRT Station [Blue Line].

This place is insane- no wonder it’s Michelin star. I travelled across the city to come here and it was worth the trip. I had the braised beef noodles with broth, cured egg roll and the braised beef bao bun. It was an explosion in my mouth- so good my boyfriend ordered a second dish for himself.

The restaurant offers a temporary respite from the sweltering weather outside. I ordered beef over rice pot. It was simple but delicious! The beer was tender and rice was flavourful. Both complement each other. The cured yolk was quite an exquisite taste for me. The ice tea was average though. Ambience was cozy so an ideal place to laze your weekend afternoon away with friends.

Arrived right when they open to avoid the rush. All their cuts of beef were insanely tender but not overcooked. Still retain some fat and tendon throughout. Had with the rice noodles, and dry version which gave me vibes of a Vietnamese dish called "hu tieu kho" but with incredible and intense beefy flavor. I should have ordered the soup and dry to compare but can see why they are a bib gourmand.

The braised beef just melts in your mouth. Everything, from the food, place, people -- just feels comforting and humble. It truly feels like a hidden gem, but thankfully they got Michelin as what they deserve!

The rice hot pot is awesome!! Their beef are so soft and tasty. The grilled chuck eye also very nice. They provide less menu from before so please update it.

Delicious Legacy: 26 Braised Beef Yip Sahp Luhk We've been fans of the father's restaurant (Tai Soie) for years, and their braised beef noodles are legendary. This spot carries on the tradition with excellence. What We Tried: We enjoyed the Sam Yot Rice Bowl (450 THB) and the braised beef cheek soup (150 THB) – both were absolutely delicious. Service & Ambiance: The staff were friendly, and the open kitchen concept added to the dining experience. The restaurant is clean and stylish with a cool mix of old and modern Chinese-Thai elements, all with a refreshing green theme. No Wait: We arrived around 11:30 AM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised by the lack of a wait. No wonder they received the Michelin Plate Award in 2021! Highly recommend this hidden gem 💎
