26th Street Auto Center

Today was my first time bringing my car to get detailed at 26th Street Auto Center — I will absolutely be returning, as I am highly pleased with the service. Firstly, Jackelyn and Rob met me with great energy, kindness, and thoroughly answered all of my questions. Secondly, the overall customer service of the staff was friendly and attentive. Lastly, my car came out looking fantastic! I hadn’t had my car detailed in over a year and they did an incredible job with the cleanliness and paid attention to detail. It felt like I had a brand new car! 10/10. Would recommend!

I have to say that i have never in my entire life had such an amazing experience while getting my car fixed. I had a terrible flat tire, and the speed and price to which they saved me was just phenomenal. I would 100% go again, I’ll be telling all my friends to go here!!

Robert has consistently provided amazing levels of help and patience to the local community. I have driven in on more than one occasion with nails and or screws from local construction sites embedded in my tires. 26th St auto center always helps out at fair prices and quickly helping me get on with life. Huge thank you to 29th Street Auto Center. I've been in LA for 3 years, and have had trouble keeping my car clean. The notoriously hard water had accumulated spots on my windows, making everything hard to see. 26th was recommended by my mechanic, and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. They cleaned my Subi top to bottom and put such a perfect polish on, looks like I just rolled off the showroom floor. They even cleaned off the exhaust tips and the bike rack! I'm highly impressed with the job and attention to detail, I was hard pressed to find even a little bit of dust in a crack. Someone even found a glove I thought I'd lost and put it in the door for me. I will be a repeat customer in the future, I am one happy person today.

I had my car washed and the interior cleaned. It was a brand new vehicle when I picked it up. Drove from Vancouver Canada to LA, 1200 miles of dirt and bugs on the wind shield. The employees did an amazing job. Super friendly and it was a fantastic experience. Jackie (sp) was a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended this location for a car wash and interior clean. Very happy Canadian customer.

They do a great job and the staff is super friendly! Hand wash at a good price. It's best to book an appointment in advance because they are super popular, because of their great work. Highly recommend them!! It's more expensive than a drive through, but worth every penny.

First time customer here, brought in my 11 year old vehicle. Thought I would try a new shop, MISTAKE. Also, whenever trying new places I let my girlfriend have the initial go, and see if they take advantage of her. Oh and did this place.. Routine oil change, and tire rotation FOR $255? Is this a joke? I'm not doubting the quality of work, as I'm sure this auto shop is capable of performing two of the most routine maintenance procedures in a vehicle. WAIT, that's not it! They recommended to replace my Cabin Air Filter- which does need to be replaced. I declined after seeing they were trying to charge $215 to replace my cabin air filters. $215????? I am hesitant to ever use the word scam- but this is all I felt throughout this experience. I can't in good faith recommend this place to anyone after this experience. Unfortunately, I would've been a loyal customer- but will not be taking any of my cars here in the future.

26th Street Auto Center is consistent with their pricing and they're very respectful. They do a good job for a decent price. I've been here multiple times for replacing rims + swapping tires and it's been easy. 5 stars for sure.

Never a good sign when you pay $65 for a basic car wash and have to go home and clean residue of your car yourself afterwards.

We called on a friday afternoon for a car wash and WOW!!! What an amazing job and filled up our gas too we loved it and will only have 26th Street Auto be our car spot now so nice walking around Brentwood country mart too win win!

I work in Brentwood and met all the guys working at this business. Every single one of them are super friendly and very approachable. By far this is my go to car wash in the area. So far I haven't seen anyone else wash and detail cars to the finest in the area. I had my car washed and waxed today and they did one amazing job. Thank you guys! I recommend anyone in the area to try this place and you'll love it. They have very reasonable prices for the work done.

The change oil light came on in my Jeep Grand Cherokee but I wanted to find a shop that was close and easy to deal with. I'd heard very good things about 26th Street Auto so I figured I'd give them a shot. My mechanic was very nice, easy to talk to and gave me good cost estimates. The reason I can't give 5 stars is because the shop's website clearly states "Uber rides within 3 miles." When I brought this up, the mechanic said they don't offer any rides and wasn't aware it was on the website. It's extremely disappointing the shop would not honor what's CLEARLY stated on their site.

I come here regularly for all of my maintenance, these guys will help you out with anything you need. They're honest and won't try to deceive like other places.

These guys came recommended from some friends. Location is convenient for me so I decided to try it. They seemed fine, job took longer than they said it would, but WOW are they expensive! Dealer charges $79 to change my oil, their bill was $191 plus $45 more to rotate tires. So I trust them, but too expensive for me.

Had a complicated seat bracket done on my new Mazda Miata RF this last Monday They Really did a Amazing job!!!! The Owner and the Guys that work there are very personable as well as excellent work Really a Great Experience!!! thank you Clinton

I've been bringing various cars here for the last 10 years+ including my sisters 1996 BMW which they did a boatload or I should say a car load worth of work. Their work has always been A+++. I've never had to take a car back after repairs they completed. Extremely well Managed and wonderful mechanics & detailers. Jacqueline is fantastic. The work is always excellent!

These guys are fantastic. I needed new front tires very quickly and they not only did it within the time I needed, but welcomed me upon my arrival and helped me find a great place to wait. SO pleased with them. Worth driving over to get this good quality. And the prices were reasonable, and they helped me understand what I need to do to minimize my tire wear-down in the future, as well as making sure my alignment is good for the future. thanks, guys.

We have been going to 26th Street Auto Center for over ten years because they are the most reliable, honest auto care people out there. Robert and his team of ace mechanics always figure out what's going on and they always communicate, advising us of various options and the costs even noting when a particular expense/repair may not be worth it in the long run. Over the years, they have kept all of our family cars running smoothly and safely, whether it's a BMW, Acura, Prius or most recently a Mustang last week that simply needed an oil change and routine servicing. We always go with Robert, Richard and the whole team of terrific, honest auto experts. They get it done right the first time.

Don't let their gas prices fool you!! This deterred me at first. But after speaking with Robert I learned that the 26st auto center is actually subleased from the gas station. In other words, the service station and gas station are separate businesses! They did my timing belt on my 4runner for substantially less than the dealer would have charged. Ultimately, I'm very picky so I only go to people I trust with my car. In today's case, I came back for another detail. I knew they'd do a fantastic job coming in. But even with my already high expectations, they exceeded them once again by far!! I drive an 06 Toyota 4Runner and it honestly looks better right now than I'm sure it did leaving the showroom floor in 06!! Don't believe me? Check the photos below. Good work is priceless. Simply amazing service again on my 740i BMW. Robert and Jackie go out of their way to make you feel at home. I had a tricky intermittent stalling problem that 2 other shops couldn't figure out. 26 th is a little further away from my home since I moved but realizing that I was 0 for 2 so far on getting this stalling figured out, I made the trip to see them. In less than 4 hours Robert had the issue figured out and called with me not just great, but amazing news. There was an extended warranty through BMW for vanos valves which were causing the car to stall. This is where it gets amazing and why 26 th gets great reviews. When I came to pick it up, Robert waived the diagnostic fee because he had seen the issue before and only had to make a phone call to verify out was covered. Folks, just go here. They are the old school shop that builds relationships but fully capable pf all the new school cars. Thank you Robert and Jackie, you truly have a life!

This is my second recommendation for 26th St Auto Center. Previous visits have always gone well, work done and efficiently, but yesterday's and today's visit went the extra mile, so to speak! I brought my truck in for brake work only to find out that a part installed the previous time had failed, causing the present problem. I picked up the truck this morning, failed part replaced, lost fluids replaced, and everything done at no charge. Clearly, this is an honest shop! What more can one ask for in this day and age?

Alberto provided amazing service and was able to do something 4 other places couldn't or wouldn't do. I'm super impressed, thank you!

Finally a place that services Land Rover/Defender 90s that isn't Hornburg. Hornburg quoted me over $1000 for a job Robert and his crew did for 180.00. These guys are great, honest and hardworking,

I have an old car and I could go on an on about the multiple times this place has totally come through for me in fixing my car but this place is so much more to me than a place that fixes my car. There is such a good energy here with the staff, they are always playing fun music, they are genuinely kind and decent people. They decorate the Sinclair dinosaur and my friends and I check every month for the new costume. We sometimes stop by just to hang out with these people. They are the best. A neighborhood staple. They are the "Cheers" of auto centers.

So friendly and eager to help! I was a little shy to come over because I don't have a luxury vehicle, but they didn't seem to care. Great fast service reasonable pricing. Thanks guys!

The team at 26th Street Auto was terrific. I purchased a used Land Rover HSE and had them do an inspection to cover any maintenance or safety issues. They were able to get me tires at a very fair price and they showed me their new tire equipment which they said is the best in the business. I received a detailed report on my car with pictures that showed a few suspension bushings that needed to be addressed and had my oil changed and got my car washed. I Highly Recommend Them if you want straight talk and personal service.

Gas prices are on the higher end, which usually repelled me from coming, however the staff are wonderful and very nice and welcoming. They helped me with my car and I was very satisfied! Would recommend!

I walked by this morning and asked how much it would be to do a car wash for a SUV. The guy quoted me $35 and told me it included vacuuming the interior. I drive in about an hour later, and another guy quoted me $45. I told him I was quoted $35 earlier but he was adamant for this car it is $45. I'm not sure if he is referring to this car being more high-end or electric (which shouldn't make a difference) , or the size, but either way it left me with a bad impression. Proximity wise, I originally really wanted this to be my go- to car wash place- so I'm pretty bummed. Security wise: I'm also apprehensive to come back when I realise they just park your cars (post wash) at the corner of the connected 76 gas station area with the keys inside. They also don't give you a ticket or anything when you leave your car there, so you don't really need proof of ownership when you come collect your car.

Robert and the team at 26th St Auto are fantastic! I'm new to the area and I was worried about choosing a place to get my car serviced. I had heard of a lot of horror stories in LA. I took my 2008 BMW in since I was having a few issues. I had a chat with Robert and he laid out the diagnostic process to me and warned about the potential cost of the full diagnostis. The transparency was great, and we came to an agreement that was within my budget. Robert is friendly, honest, and very easy to work with. Thank you Robert, I will see you again soon!

Since my initial review in June 2018, 26th Street has become my regular shop for an older BMW 3-series. Robert and his staff are always fast, friendly, and compassionate. Highly recommend.

The guys here always keep me going. I have a few cars I bring through here. My Tesla always looks clean and Brand New after they're done detailing it. And my work delivery van is always needing oil changes and brakes and they always accommodate my busy schedule. I've never had any issues with them and they're always honest with the job. Having used both auto detail service and mechanics this place is an all round solid automotive solution to everything car related

I was recommended to 26th Street Auto when my usual auto shop was fully booked. While I've only stopped by for a few minor things, I can already tell everyone here is honest and hardworking. When I came to get a bulb replaced in my back light, the gentleman who helped me didn't even charge me for anything except the bulb. Sure, it only took him about 5 minutes, but after having owned a BMW for 10 years and been to every "European car specialist" on this side of the 405, you know no job for these cars comes without this fee and that fee and here's another fee for just breathing air while you wait to have your car serviced. Pleasantly surprised and left me with a great impression. Looks like they also do great car washes, so will definitely be coming back.

My mother in law's Prius broke down and not only did Robert get me an itemized estimate in less than half the time I anticipated, he took the time to explain everything clearly to me in a way I could understand. He even got the car done same day!! I'll admit, considering the location and gas prices I was a bit hesitant to go when my fiancé suggested it. But after getting to know Robert a little bit I learned that the gas station is actually separate from his shop. He had the integrity to let me know it was a first time doing this particular job and kept me updated every step of the way. You can't find that level of service these days. They say price is what you pay but value is what you get. Needless to say, I'm never taking any of our cars elsewhere Thank you Robert!!!

Took my SUV here for repair today. Robert and the team were fantastic. They were able to diagnose the issue quickly and also informed me about other things to consider repairing without pressuring me. I will definitely return the next time I need work done.

My car got towed to this location with flat tire. They fix it very quickly. But when I came back to collect my car and I found out they broke my mirror switch! I don't how it possible and why they even touch it. So when I call and tell them. They said it was like that. Which is absolute lie! Very disappointed:/ also they didn't ask any prof for collecting my car ..... very dangerous.

These Folks where great! They took great care of my 2004 JEEP ! It runs and feels great!

I trust this place with my car and pocket book. They are forthright, reasonably priced, and have great customer service. They give recommendations if there's something expensive needing to be fixed and help you gauge how to plan out the repair. I never feel bullied or guilted into anything. Won't go anywhere else!

Stopped in to see about an exterior detail and scratch removal. I spoke with Ramiro a manager at the detail center. He spoke with me in length about what they do and He earned my trust. The east coaster in me is always a little skeptical, after getting the car back today, it truly was a work of art. Ramiro and his team did the most amazing job. My car looks brand new. The exterior is smooth and wicked sparkly. All the scratches from my dogs hanging out the window are non-existent. Seriously fine work. Worth every penny!!! Always take care of the people that take care of you. Bravo guys.

I recently sprung for the most expensive detailing offered here ($280) and it was totally worth it. If you opt for this service, expect to leave your car for at least 5 hours. The guys were able to get grunge off the interior that I had long given up on and meticulously cleaned every inch of glass and fabric. They also graciously assisted me with a few cosmetic adjustments that went above the call of duty. The only odd thing was there was no beginning paperwork or claim ticket which made me a bit nervous but my car was safe and sound when I arrived so all good. I will definitely be returning in 12 months.

This is a great shop for everything from oil changes to repairs. Always a very pleasant experience.

I am in the process of selling my car, so the buy and myself decided we would take my car here to have it thoroughly reviewed before moving forward with the sale. I've been going to Stoke's Tires in Santa Monica for years so appreciated and trusted their recommendation for 26th Street Auto Center. It was a great experience! When I went to pick my car up, Robert detailed everything they inspected and their findings. He also called the buyer and reviewed everything with him as well. He was super nice and friendly and I felt that he was honest. I would definitely come here again and would recommend it to friends, family, anyone. I was nervous getting my car reviewed before a sale because, although I couldn't think of anything that might be wrong with it, I did't want a mechanic to take advantage of that fact to make some money which would unfortunately make it hard for me to sell. That was not the case at all! Very good experience. And - I sold the car :)

brought my car through here for an oil change after the dealer tried to cost me an arm and a leg. They did it quick here for a great deal, my car is back to running smoothly once more without that pesky oil change light on.

I had window tinting. 3M product, Crystalline on windshield and front side windows, the rest in Premium. 2009 Prius. $800 including tax. Do you know they did better on price than a Living Social deal at a dumpy place on Wilshire called Startronics? Well they did. Super high quality at a great price. I also get my car washed there. $35, clean as a whistle. They do it in an hour while I'm at my Bar Method class.

I had a full interior/exterior detailing as well as headlight restoration performed. Not only do the headlights look brand new, but it makes my car actually feel like it was just driven off the lot. I had a lot of stains inside and the deep clean got rid of them all. The outside feels great too. I'd definitely recommend Robert and Clemente for your detailing needs. Thanks!

When the clutch went out on my Mini Cooper driving down San Vincente--not only did I get great service and Rob went out of his way to make sure that the car parts were from the dealer and had my car back in a couple of days. He also gave me a great deal and detailed my mini before I picked it up. When my mother's car broke down when she came to visit, Rob had it fixed in a couple of hours so she could go home that same day. It's my favorite local service station, and Rob's a gem.

I found a time machine!!! I traveled back in time to the day I bought my car from the dealership brand new two years ago. 26th Street Auto Center returned my car in pristine condition! I was in SoCal for vacation and came here to get a detail on my car. I have never gotten a detail before on any of my cars, so I didn't have any expectations. I have taken really good care of it. It's kept neat and only had a small scrape on the front bumper with a little paint residue. I was blown away when I got my car back. I didn't realize how clean my car could get. I highly recommend Clemente and his team did a fantastic job! Here are the highlights: -The paint sparkled! (I am distracted by shiny objects...) -The interior was SPOTLESS! (I almost panicked when I couldn't find all of the 'junk' I kept in the cup holders. It was nicely bagged in my trunk.) -My trunk was spotless! -The minor scrape on my front bumper was barely noticeable. (The paint residue was GONE!) -The windows were so crystal clear that all I could do was stare in awe... My car is SEXY again!!! Thank you 26th Street Auto Center! If I am ever in the area again, I will be back again! 5 Stars! Highly recommended!
