I almost don't want to leave a review, so i can keep this place to myself .... Our room was so gorgeous, all the furniture and decorations had purpose and matched. I felt peace and calm as soon as we arrived. On the deck we made friends with a cute water dragon next to outer private plunge pool. Complimentary breakfast, water and hot drinks were delicious. Short walk from the town centre and the beach. And the check in was very personalised, I felt taken care of. Thank you so much, I've stayed here 3 times now, and I'll be back again.

Absolute perfection! We held our micro wedding at 28 Degrees in October 2025, Deb and her team went above and beyond to ensure every room and the entire guesthouse were flawless. The space is filled with thoughtful details, clearly shaped by Deb’s incredible sense of style, which made our stay feel even more special. 28 Degrees has the most wonderful feeling of relaxed luxury. Deb and her team are so genuinely warm and welcoming, creating an atmosphere where you can settle into your own space while still knowing support is there whenever you need it. Throughout the planning process, Deb was endlessly helpful, answering every little request a bride could possibly have. We truly would have been lost without her. The location made everything easy for our group, whether popping down the street to one of the many great cafés and restaurants, or enjoying the beautiful kitchen in the main guesthouse. We’re already planning our next trip back!

me and my boyfriend had an amazing stay at 28 Degrees for the weekend. if your looking for a quiet peaceful getaway this is definitely the place! we didn’t see a single person our whole stay, made for such a relaxing few days. the staff here are amazing, as i communicated with Monique through text the whole time, she was very knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions we had. our room was beautiful and spacious, we also had access to the main houses amenities which was complete with an entire kitchen ! although we didn’t do much cooking we appreciated the supplies. if your a couple looking to take a few deep breaths away from your busy life, i couldn’t recommend 28 Degrees more. Thank you to Monique and the team for an amazing weekend! We will definitely be back!

Great location, just a short walk to all the bars, restaurants, cafés, and shops in Byron. The rooms were private, cosy, and quiet, with quality linen and a comfortable bed. The plunge pool was a great addition. The complimentary house-made granola with yoghurt and berries was lovely, especially paired with the local Moonshine coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great value - we’ll definitely be back soon!

This luxury home truly made our stay in Byron bay unforgettable! Run by Deb and Lyndon, a power couple with amazing energy and authenticity, we felt at home during our 4 night stay @ 28 degrees 🫶🏽|The room / apartment is decorated with care and attention to detail, and you will find local and quality products provided. We had a car to get around, but the location is walking distance to the beach and to the best restaurants and coffee shops. This place truly stands for ‘barefoot luxury’ 🤍 Thanks for making our stay so memorable ✨

We had such a lovely weekend at 28 Degrees. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept so well. There were so many thoughtful little touches that made the stay feel really special, from the beautiful details in the room to the calming atmosphere throughout the property. We also loved that there was filtered water available throughout the entire building – such a rare and appreciated detail. Everything felt considered, relaxing and high quality. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful Byron escape.

Terrific location. Quite yet a minutes walk to the heart of Byron. Secluded & private The rooms are very well appointed with gorgeous linens & super comfortable pillows & mattress Love the floorboards!!!! Your room has local tea & coffee, granola, yoghurts & fruit for breakfast. |Excellent value & such friendly service.

Room was terrific. Location was great, a short distance from beach and major activities. Room had all the conveniences well thought out. Checkin, however, was very difficult. Upon arrival found property was contained in a 8 foot impenetrable security wall that required a security code to enter. Nothing was provided to us in advance. No response to pounding on the door so we called phone number provided. Phone number did not work because we later were told Whatsapp had to be used. Only got to our prepaid room because someone was leaving and opened door.
