2A Wine Merchants

Attended a phenomenal wine tasting with Rob. He was incredibly knowledgable and introduced the group to a lot of great new wine. Would highly recommend setting up a private tasting!

I am overwhelmed with joy and a sense of belonging every time I come in here. 2A is always welcoming, so very kind and at the top of their game with the perfect blend of knowledge and friendliness. There is a great sense of togetherness and an energy that makes this feel like a gathering place whether it be for a glass of wine and a good book, or meeting a few friends. Never pretentious, always on point - this is a favorite in the area.

2A is the premier wine merchant and tasting shop in Milwaukee but also in the entire state of Wisconsin. I was blessed to live within two blocks of 2A for a few years while living in the third ward. 2A has the most knowledgeable wine merchants in all of Wisconsin. One of the main reasons why this stands true is they will tell you “if anyone ever tells you they know everything about wine, run in the opposite direction.” Rob runs an absolutely awesome shop and ensures that all his employees are armed with the knowledge and experience to ensure your wine journey ends exactly as intended. I recently was lucky enough to experience a private tasting with my wife held by Jen, the General Manager of 2A Wine Merchants. Jen made sure to include wines that she felt my wife would enjoy based on recommendations she had asked for via email weeks before the tasting itself. Jen set us up in a private area in the back of the shop and had a small charcuterie board available for us as well. Jen explained every wine in full detail, what we were going to taste and background around the vineyards as well. It was the best experience I’ve had in a tasting setting whether wine, food, etc. Jen made you feel as though you were right at home and she just brought over a bunch of bottles for you to try. The experience was worth every penny and I HIGHLY recommend scheduling a private tasting with 2A and traveling to their shop for any of your wine needs!! We love you, 2A. (They also have a shop dog named Ham and he is the bestest boy).

I had no idea when I moved into the 3rd ward community that 2A was steps away! It has become my favorite neighborhood gathering place for great wine, atmosphere and an incredible team who brings knowledge, warmth and joy to each experience. You must check it out!

I recently visited 2A and was blown away by their space. I ended up hosting a wine-pairing event there, and the staff was terrific. I can't thank Jen and her team enough for being helpful and accommodating. If you're looking for a cozy and intimate venue to host an event or just a place to enjoy a glass of wine with friends, 2A is the spot to check out. The environment is lovely, and the staff is just as excellent. I highly recommend this place!

Hip place to have a glass of vino after a dinner date. Team knowledgeable on variety of their awesome wine options to enjoy there or take home. Will definitely be back. Cheers!

A beautiful wine shop with the chillest atmosphere with the most down to earth and very knowledgeable people (Jen is dope, and maybe you can meet Ham her puppy there too!) 🤗 But really the vibe is perfect for a night out or bringing a book and snack for a chill night in.

How have I not written a review?! You know those places where you tell EVERYONE you know to go to? This is it. Honestly, people are probably sick of us telling them to go here. Rob, Jen and Kayla are the best. The wine is the best. Ham is the cutest shop puppy. We’ve pretty much stopped buying wine from anywhere else!
