We had three nights at the 2Ciels and would definitely recommend. ||It's about a 25 minute walk into the centre (about £4 in a taxi) and about 15 minutes from the airport. We didn't find too much local to the hotel but a couple of shops where we could stock up on water and snacks. We ate at Nobu one evening which was only about a 10-15 minute walk away and it looked like there were a few other nice places about the same distance away.||Dounia, the customer relations manager, was great, very helpful and friendly and went out of her way to help us.||Our arrival was a bit clumsy. We had booked a taxi via the hotel to pick us up at the airport (and they asked for the flight number and said they'd still be a taxi even if delayed), we were delayed slightly, but no taxi - it was very easy to get one ourselves and half the price so not a problem. ||On arrival they seemed at a bit confused with our booking and wanted to check we'd used the same name on our passports to book - which we had - the booking was fine but their initial response did worry us! They also said they'd bring us some tea when we arrived while they sorted our booking out - but they never did - only small comments but it was a bit of an inconsistent start given the rest of the stay was great.||The roof top bar is great for a snack and drink in the day and was fun in the evening with the DJ and the views. ||The downstairs pool weas nice and relaxing, a bit quieter than upstairs, but the pigeons did become a bit annoying.||Breakfast was great, a nice buffet and we ate outside every morning and enjoyed the warmth and eating by the pool. The buffet was great and service excellent. ||My husband had a massage and said it was very good.||We had an evening flight, we left our luggage at the hotel and went out for the day then came back and they were fine us using the spa area to shower and change before our flight which was an added bonus.|We'd definitely recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a base to explore, next time we come back we will try a Riad, just for a different experience, but it was a great base for a three day trip.||Thanks again to Dounia for helping us out with a few things and for offering to help us out and book anything if we make a return visit.
