Great food, good prices, healthy portions, quick & polite service. I walked by today and I had to come in and try some of their food as the aroma was drawing me in. Ordered a large Jerk Pork, white rice with steamed veggies & plantains. Also ordered 4 pieces of fried chicken. Everything was on point and I was impressed with the large portions. Afterwards I was thoroughly full and quite satisfied. I love finding little hole in the wall spots like this, as they are the little culinary gems in the local neighborhoods that make you appreciate well made food. It's a small place without seating but the service was quick and the workers were positive and inviting. I enjoyed my meal right in the park by the Botanical Gardens. Will be back again soon.

Food always fresh & tasty… My only complaint is around 5/6 they never have cabbage or plantains for the oxtails… even rice & peas are out at times but I guess that’s what comes with great food.

The best Jamaican food left in the neighborhood. Generous portions. Scrumptious, fall off the bone, tender meat.

I came all the way from the other side of Brooklyn to come to this little spot, cause I saw the reviews here, and as well on google. I specifically came to try the oxtail. Its a tiny place, but long line that was out the door signified to me that the food was good. I ordered my oxtail, and as the woman at the counter prepared my food, I asked this little old woman on the line what she thought of the food there. She said she was from Jamaica and had been coming there for years! It was her go-to spot. She even recommended a cake I try a cake they had. I took that as a good sign. I went home and tried food, and believe it or not, not only was it a good portion of food, it tasted delicious! Exactly as the reviews below stated, the oxtail was so tender and well seasoned. It was not sticking to the bone, which again verified what others had said. The rice and peas were scrumptious too. I'm definitely going back and recommending this place. Also, I kept eyeing their fried chicken and their rum cake. Those two looked soooo good.

Man this is some good food! The king fish is really good! They also make their own ginger beer in house. I'm a huge fan of ginger beer. I'll tell you this one is very very strong (gingery) but still very good.

I got a beef patty with cocoa bread and my favorite grapefruit soda. The beef patty was dry. The cocoa bread was delicious... nice and soft. Just wish their credit card machine was working so that I could have tried their roti.... smelled good though.

This place has got me hooked on their Jamaican beef patties. I was going there and picking up one for a quick lunch/snack ($1.75 each). One day I decided to be adventurous and try their ox tail stew, wow it's great! All their food is pretty affordable and delicious. They also have some good fruit juices there (carrot juice, ginger, and others... they are all packing spices). This is definitely going to be a regular spot for me.
