The do it yourself pottery painting was awesome. My family spent 3 hours here on a hot day just relaxing, painting, and enjoying the music. We paid $230 for those 3 hours and the 4 items we created: 2 mugs, a small square trinket box, and a tile. A steep price, but we enjoyed the experience and family time so much, we were happy with it. They said it would take several days to fire the items in the kiln so they could easily ship them back to the US for us. We have been eagerly awaiting our pieces and were excited to see the package on our doorstep today! Sadly, the packaging was woefully inadequate to safely ship 4 ceramic pieces internationally. All 4 pieces were laid on the bottom of a reused Amazon box with 8 inches of air filled plastic bags on top. Photos attached. We are so disappointed that only 2 items survived, one mug and the tile. The box and the second mug were beyond repair. I don't understand how you can be in this business and not recognize the need for better packaging. Be aware you may not receive your creation as promised, unless you leave enough time to pick it up yourself before departing the island. Five star creation experience reduced to 2 stars by disappointment of not receiving half of what we created. 😞
