Extremely welcoming hosts who go out of their way to make you feel at home.
We were in Room 1, which was wonderful, with a comfortable king-sized bed. It was also very quiet, meaning that we had a wonderful night's sleep.
The freshly-cooked breakfast was great, as was the coffee.
It is a very pleasant, short, walk into Shaftesbury.
Some advice:
1) The property is next to a roundabout, but clearly marked with off-road ample parking. If you miss it, just go back to the roundabout and look again.
2) Visit Gold Hill, home of the famous Hovis advert.
3) Find a restaurant before travelling, and pre-book it to avoid disappointment.
4) Do try San Tonino Italian Restaurant, housed inside a former church. It is wonderful.
