3 Sisters Adventure Trekking / Empowering Women of Nepal (EWN)

We just got back from an amazing trek with Three Sisters. They were truly excellent. The prior communication and organization was excellent, as they tailored the trek to our requests. On the trek the team were first class. Our guide (Indra) was so experienced, helpful and considerate, always cheerful and humorous despite us changing our minds many times . Our team of assistants (Sabina, Dumbar, and Sita) were awesome with such positive attitudes and always offering extra help. They were all great fun to be with for 9 days! They made our trip especially memorable. We saw many other groups on our trek but their teams just didn’t seem to have the same spirit and fun as our group. We were lucky to be on a very similar trip with another Three Sisters group , and they were also great people. Next time I go to Nepal I will undoubtedly go with Three Sisters again.

3 Sisters is amazing! Dipjaya was so wonderful to work with when planning our trip. I had first been in touch with her to plan a solo trip - plans changed and a year later I was back in touch to plan for a group trek. From the beginning I wanted to trek with 3 Sisters after having read about them & the work they do in a guidebook, and from other research. Dipjaya worked with me to customize a trek based on my original plans and then again with the group’s thoughts in mind, including some specific things we wanted to include in our experience like the hot springs! The 5 of us spent 6 days with our wonderful guide, Mina & 5 assistants: Saru, Sita, Kumari, Nissa and Sanchita. What a wonderful, knowledgeable, strong crew of women!! They added such a lovely and lovely layer to our experience. Dipjaya also helped us arrange transfers, luggage storage, and accommodation before & after the trek. We so appreciate the work they do! The trek itself was beautiful and we had great weather - we felt we lucked out all around & we are so grateful for our time spent trekking in the Annapurna Conservation Area with the help of 3 Sisters. Should we be back to trek in Nepal, we would gladly go with 3 Sisters again (solo or in a group) & recommend that you do too! Thank you so much!

I took an 8 day trek in the Langtang Valley with Tila and Urmila from 3 Sisters Trekking. It was an outstanding trek. The valley walk was enchanting as the rhododendrons were in full bloom and we saw monkeys, beautiful birds and even deer. Tila, my guide, was so attentive, informative and encouraging. Urmila, my assistant guide, was kind and helpful. They were delightful company, both on the trek and in the evenings. Tila chose the best guest houses to stay in, with comfortable beds, great food and welcoming hosts. With their support, I made it to the upper Kyangjin Ri peak at 4700m. I fully support the ethos of the 3 Sisters, and with guides like Tila representing them, they will continue to be an inspiration to all women who chose to work and seek adventures in beautiful Nepal.

Our 24-day trek throughout Tsum Valley and Manaslu with the 3-sisters was amazing. Our guide Sita was great, she took really good care of us, she always had the best ideas to adapt our itinerary and match what we were looking for. We really shared incredible moments together as a group with the assistants. I truly recommend this trekking agency !

Just returned from a 13-day Manaslu trek with guides Santhi and Usha, our group of 7 had an incredible time. The guides and assistants supported us throughout the trip and we stayed at the best guesthouses, often the only group there which felt so special! Would 110% go again with 3 sisters!

The absolute BEST trekking company!!! This is my second time trekking with 3 Sisters and I will continue to trek with them. Their team is fully committed to supporting women in Nepal lead lives of choice, agency, and economic and personal prosperity. Our guide, Laxmi, became our friend on our trek. Not only did she endowed us with cultural and linguistic knowledge, but she was so kind, funny, and attentive to us and made sure we had an incredible experience. The mission of the organization is unbeatable and their impact is well vetted, so your tourism dollars are only maximized by investing in this cause.

We had a great trekking experience with 3 Sisters for the Manaslu Circuit Trek. For our group of 7 we had Shanti and Usha as our guides and 6 lovely assistants (4F+ 2M). Shanti and Usha were both very experienced, complemented each other’s skills, lead with good humour and provided amazing support to individuals when the trek was tough. We were skeptical about the accommodation before the trip but all accommodation was clean and tidy and they worked with our request to stay at some quieter places with just our group throughout the trip. Shanti, Usha and all the assistants very attentive to our needs and made the trip very smooth and stress free for the whole group. Going with female guides and assistants was fantastic and the vibes were good throughout the whole trek. Evenings were often spent playing cards, sharing jokes and chatting about culture and the mountains.

Would absolutely recommend! Great for solo female travelers or in groups, really everyone should use them! Love what they do to help empower women in Nepal. They treat their staff as family and really look out for one another. I also felt that I was treated like family and was well looked out for. Assistance with airport transport, local recs for other services I needed, and laundry service upon my return! Very fair prices and accommodations were clean and very nice, loved having private bathroom. In regards to trek- I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Tila our guide was amazing and a great leader. Very knowledgeable and really took care of everyone! The 4 assistants for our group of 4 travelers were amazing. All were so kind and fun to travel with! I loved how we felt like we were all traveling together and interacted throughout the whole trip. We ate together, played together and danced together! Felt very special. I will be using 3 Sisters when I return!
