I liked living at 300 Main. The sunrise and sunset views were ah-mazing, and the building felt secure (shoutout to the security team), with great shared spaces like the 40th floor resident lounge. That said, I did run into a few issues like my washer/dryer not working for several weeks, dirty tap water, no hot water for weeks, etc. But the building superintendents, Anthony and Evelynn, were incredible throughout. They handled everything with speed, care, and genuine kindness. Their support made a big difference. Overall, it’s not without its flaws, but it's a vibrant place to live with some truly standout features.

I was initially excited to move into 300 Main after reading all the positive reviews (mostly fake, as you can quickly tell) about its “luxury living” experience. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm has turned into frustration due to significant issues and mediocre building management. Condition of the Suite: Upon moving in, I discovered the suite was far from luxurious. The floors were scratched, the walls were damaged, and the toilets had been used and left dirty. While I initially hoped this was an isolated issue, we have consistently faced problems in one of the bathrooms. It has been four months since we reported this problem, and it remains unresolved. Building Management: Despite my repeated attempts to communicate these concerns to the superintendent, the responses have been evasive, and the “solutions” are ineffective. The superintendent’s reluctance to bring in a maintenance professional for a permanent fix is a significant source of frustration. Even when he does agree to send someone, it still takes an unacceptable 3-5 business days for a temporary fix to be completed. Escalation Attempts: I have tried to escalate these issues and seek compensation, but unfortunately, the person responsible for 300 Main at Cushman & Wakefield Stevenson never returned my calls or emails. Community Concerns: After speaking with other tenants, I discovered that many are experiencing similar issues, such as suites lacking hot water, air conditioning and heat failures, clogged pipes, fire alarm failures that make it go off at 4 am and extreme humidity in several floors. The list goes on and on. The superintendent is overwhelmed and unable to manage these problems effectively. It’s worth noting that the building currently only has 50% occupancy. Imagine the situation when it reaches full capacity. Amenities: The building’s amenities are great; however, Cushman & Wakefield frequently closes both the 40th and 2nd floors for their company parties and meetings, preventing us, the paying tenants, from using them. This can be verified on their social media accounts, where they often showcase events on the 40th floor of 300 Main. The poor management and lack of interest in customer satisfaction from Cushman & Wakefield Stevenson have failed to deliver the “luxury living” experience that 300 Main promises and undermined it. Please reconsider if you plan to move here to avoid the hassle and frustration that many of us deal with daily. Just look at the photos and ask yourself: is this what a “luxury living” experience looks like?

I’ve been living in this building for a while now, and I’ve grown increasingly frustrated with the lack of follow-through on basic maintenance and resident amenities. Two months ago, management sent an email promising that the windows would be cleaned—but they’re still just as dirty as ever. They said they clean them twice a year, but living on such a busy, dusty road, it is clear this might need more maintenance. It’s disappointing to look out at such a great view through smudged glass. What’s more frustrating is the patio situation. The recent temperatures are going up to 29°C and spring clearly here, the patios remain closed. The second-floor patio may require more maintenance due to its size, but the upper patio already has chairs set up with cushions; so why is access still restricted? My fob doesn’t work, and I’ve been denied the ability to enjoy the outdoor space, even though it’s clearly ready. They said it needs cleaning, but at this point i'd be happy to take my own mop and clean up for free lol. (the photo can show that the cleaning they are keeping the patio closed for is close to no imperfections) In my previous building, which had a nearly identical patio layouts, tenants had access year-round. The cushions were removed in winter, but we still had the choice to go outside if we wanted to. It’s disappointing that this building doesn’t extend the same trust to its residents. If you’re going to keep advertising on Instagram and Google about how amazing springtime is here—complete with patio photos—then residents should actually be able to use those spaces. Otherwise, it just feels like false advertising.

ADD: photos from when they shut down all the elevators on a 40-story building. When we asked how long they’d be down they had no answer but someone smiling at us to say we can “use the stairs with our phone lights”. People have pets and jobs that require carrying heavy equipment. Completely unreasonable. We’ve also been hearing consistent running water in one of our walls. We brought it to the managements attention and nothing has been done or explained. Any 5-star reviews are either paid for or friends of the managers. “Luxury” Ha. The views are beautiful, yes. A huge plus for myself is being connected to a well-run GoodLife gym. And it is clean inside. However. For the price… Suites are made with the cheapest materials. Particle board doors... Leaky windows… I can clearly hear conversations in suites beside and above me. My balcony door whistles like crazy when it’s windy and I’m concerned for my hydro expenses this winter. The view of the city (giant windows) was the biggest reason I chose this building over others in the area at this price. The windows are DISGUSTING on the outside and have not been cleaned since we moved in, though requested twice. And a suite next to ours was cleaned before that tennant moved in (I’m guessing as a request before signing their contract). The top-floor lounge amenity we pay for is consistently closed down for their private corporate events, though their lounge rules state that is it open to residents 365 days a year. Emails about this concern have been ignored. I’ve never heard the alarms go off so often in a building. Sometimes at 4:00am. When you advertise “luxury” and charge $2100 for a one-bedroom, I would expect it to actually be “luxury”. Feeling a bit duped. Unlikely to resign for another year without changes made.

I have lived at 300 Main for 4 months and I cannot stop gushing to everyone about how great it is. The building is beautiful and so clean and safe and the suites and views are stunning. Having the gym and pet playground is so convenient. I have not had a single issue since moving in that was not promptly addressed by the building manager.

Warning: Do Not Move to 300 MAIN Avoid 300 MAIN at all costs. Since the building opened, many units have faced major issues: some lack hot water entirely, others have heating systems that fail repeatedly, and now there’s a water leak triggering fire alarms. To make matters worse, they’re absurdly using industrial fans to “address” the leak instead of fixing the root problem. Cushman & Wakefield, the property managers, have proven to be completely incompetent. After four months of begging them to fix a toilet that was clogged due to poor construction when we moved in, they finally sent a plumber and offered a laughable $100 gift card as compensation. Most recently, a water leak caused the fire alarms to go off in the early morning, disrupting everyone’s sleep. Their response? A vague apology. Meanwhile, other tenants are still dealing with a broken EnterPhone system requiring “software updates.” Do not believe the fake reviews written by the property managers themselves. If you’re already a tenant and experiencing similar issues, file your complaints with the Residential Tenancies Branch. Let’s hold this company accountable—we’re not alone in this fight!

Worst experience ever, DO NOT MOVE IN THERE, This review can't even fit all the things I would want to say. Unfortunately we had to live there for more than a year in 2 different units, we've been through two burst pipes accidents, all those dirty windows, worst management you can imagine, they changed the company now but it is actually even worse, those people are just dumb and have no idea what they doing. Forget about receiving any packages or deliveries, if something is broken it is going to stay broken and they will charge you for that and will not fix still. Moving out this "luxury" building made us put the elevator padding ourselves apart from wasted time on waiting the elevator to be ready, as we booked but noone cared. They made us clean the inside of the outlets with q-tips, although on their side our windows were never cleaned in both apartments we lived. Directory is constantly broken, the security claiming they are not working for the building so they won't move a finger to open the entrance door for you, because it is often locked and the fob doesn't work. The parking apart from being insanely expensive also very inconvenient cause you forced to move your vehicle every week if not more often for cleaning, otherwise you get ticketed. I can continue a very long list, but noone is going to go through this long read. The main idea is do not move there, thank me later.

I lived at 300 Main and had a great experience. I especially enjoyed the large shared terraces, the indoor walkways connecting to nearby shops and services, and the fitness center and lounge areas. A pleasant place to live!
