Can't speak to the groceries, but as for food... Yes, it is quite unassuming and not really a dine-in place. There are tables in back, however, if you're the weird lone wolf type. The photos outside the shop and on their website don't seem to be images of the food they actually make. For example their nachos are not smothered in cheap, yellow nacho cheese as the web photo would lead you to believe. They are actually way better. For $6.00, the regular nachos are quite good. The thing I love the most about them is the generous amount of avocado served on top. I get them without beef because honestly they are better without it. Delivery has always been fairly reliable as well. I've never been impressed with the other options here: aka burritos and tacos. But my wife has never been impressed by my burrito and tacos either, so what do I know.

Amazing steak tacos, the quesadillas are amazing and authentic.The salad that comes with the quesadillas is so fresh it has; avocados, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, spinach the balsamic vinegar too. Great service every time it comes out good and prices are great as well.

By far some of the best tacos in most of Queens. Tucked away in an unassuming corner of Queens, this deli offers humble seating, nice local atmosphere and fresh, authentic tacos for an excellent price. Great for a quick bite on your own or with one or two friends.

Great service and cashiers in charge. The actual food items inside may be a little pricy however. It is really fresh and good however, and it is very peaceful as well. I usually like to drink a lot of soda and general juices when I go to dufferent places. When I went here to buy something for my friend, I was thinking of buying a simple can of soda, but it cost $1.50! I’m not saying I don’t have the money, it’s just this is WAY too pricy for a small and medioacre drink. Overall, good for coming and taking a quick bite. I see many people frequently visiting and apparently enjoying it.

Friendly staff but lacking in appearance. The people that just hang around there, stare at you uncomfortably and the deli has a weird smell to it.

Low quality meats full of grizzle. Mexican entrees are inedible... tasteless sauces, repulsive meats and awful presentation. Everything thrown in one container... just a sloppy, smelly mess for 14 bucks. My hubby and I live across the street from 31 Ave Stop Deli and, at this point, we only go in for drinks and paper products. For mexican food, try DeMole on 30th Ave. and 42nd Street, Astoria. It's much better.

Horrible service! I would NOT delivery from here agin. I would give 0 stars if this was an option. I placed an order for delivery around 11, understand that it may be busy so waiting around 30 minutes wouldn't have been an issue being that I didn't live far from the area. 30 minutes turned into two hours wait for deliver! The delivery guy was EXTREMELY RUDE and hung up on me multiple times. By then, I didn't want the food anymore. Waiting two hours I'm quite sure the food would've been cold and soggy. The delivery guy never attempted to show up at my house. He played this back and forth game of phone tag. After an two hour wait and playing of hung up and phone tag the deli stop tells me the delete we guy leaves off to somewhere else. Highly disappointed due to the good reviews I've seen on here; Yelp and GrubHub (where I've placed on my order) Please do not order from this place unless this place FIRES the delivery guy. He's hung up multiple times after I was giving him directions since he's claimed he was "lost" . For two whole hours? Yeah right. 0/5 star rating, disgusting service, horrible communication, nasty attitudes and a waste of time STAY AWAY!

Ived come here for like the past 3 to 4 years to get their nachos ! The best steak or chicken NACHOS EVER! It became a tradition with my friends at least 1 time a week!
