Before I say a lot I would like to mention the positives. They followed our request upon booking and when we were there we were allowed to change rooms without problems (but not by the same person who checked us in, maybe the manager). Wifi was functioning very well, so good for work in hotel. Parking outside was free. They also contributed to safety in Covid times by placing a hand sanitiser dispenser on all tables in the breakfast room. The first room we were given was very cold even with the heater fully on and with our outer clothes still on. The room we changed to had a functioning heater and a great view of the lake. The room was very bare and gave a cold feeling due to sparse furniture and with no carpets at all on the floor. We needed slippers here but none was provided. Only a bed and desk were provided. No tea kettle nor coffee/tea, no fridge, which are now quite standard in the hotels we visited lately especially if you pay higher. No coffee either from lobby. Breakfast was cold (with a touch of warmth served personally, to one each , in a muffin cup containing some spoons of scrambled egg and pieces of one bacon strip.) We were one of two guests/parties in the hotel so breakfast seemed safe in the corona times. Had there been two more, the one small buffet table would have been risky. Check-in and check-out were done cold. With two guests they did not even take the time to welcome with a smile or check you out with the normal "hope you had a nice stay". Gave a feeling that they were tired of working for this hotel. We asked for a 30-45 min extra time as it was heavily raining and check out was 11 am . This could not be provided. We thought maybe they only now have 2 rum o kök instead of 32 rum o kök. We did not get much value for the price we paid compared to more than 20 hotels we visited the past 3 months in Sweden.
