"Most guest ranches have minimum stays of three, four, orseven nights and permit only guests to participate in ranch activitieslike fishing, horseback riding, and meals. Not soat 320 Guest Ranch, in the Gallatin Canyon outside Yellowstone’s West Entrance. From 1936 to 1959 the home of Dr. Caroline McGill, Montana’s first female doctor, the ranch now welcomes guests and non-guestsfor guided horseback rides, fishing in its trout pond, or enjoying a traditional chuckwagon dinner. Of course, you can spend a night—and even opt for Dr. McGill’s former log cabin—if you want."

From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was something special. The views are absolutely unreal — mountains in every direction, wide-open skies, and the peaceful sound of the Gallatin River right outside our cabin. Speaking of cabins: they’re all authentic log cabins, beautifully updated but still rustic in the best way. Ours was nestled right by the famous Gallatin river, and falling asleep to the sound of the water was a dream. This is a real working dude ranch — 50+ horses, friendly and skilled wranglers, fly fishing lessons, stocked trout ponds, and more trails than you could possibly explore in one trip. Our family loved the nightly bonfires, playing volleyball, and relaxing in the rocking chairs after a long day of adventure. The on-site restaurant is surprisingly great — locally inspired, hearty meals — and the little saloon is a perfect touch of Old West charm. We felt like we were part of something timeless but also incredibly well-run and welcoming. If you’re looking for a place that combines nature, activity, rest, and real Montana soul — this is it. Can’t wait to come back.

What an amazing an wonderful experience. The entire staff was very friendly, organized and on time. The accommodations where fantastic (although the pillows can be improved) and the overall riding experience and views are breathtaking. The food quality at their restaurant is simply amazing! Very high end for a dude ranch. ||My only complaint is they don't allow any trotting, cantering, or anything with the horses. I understand why they don't, but they should have horses available for advanced riders. Also, they could use an "activities director" to coordinate events such as "guest cocktail hour at the bon fire", kid events, etc.

I arranged a chuck wagon ride and supper at 320 Ranch for my whole family of 19 (age 3 months to 69 years). It was a fantastic experience for everyone - the staff was so welcoming, friendly, and fun! My husband has a soy allergy, which I mentioned when I arranged the event, and they were very accommodating! The food was fantastic, especially that Montana beef! The scenery was incredible and all my kids and grandkids had so much fun! They even played horseshoes. We’d love to come back and stay in the cabins.

We had the best experience and stay at 320 Guest Ranch! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Breakfast was included and absolutely amazing, and their hospitality truly stood out. The location is absolutely stunning—nestled between Big Sky and Yellowstone, only about 35 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. It offers the perfect mix of peaceful nature and outdoor adventure. Waking up to mountain views and the sound of the river nearby was something I’ll never forget. We stayed in a riverfront cabin with two bedrooms and a full kitchen, beautifully situated between the river and the mountains, offering spectacular views. The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with that classic Montana charm and all the modern amenities you could need. If you're looking for a relaxing and authentic Western getaway, 320 Guest Ranch is the place. I can’t recommend it enough and definitely plan to return! We’re incredibly thankful for everything the staff did and for how warmly they welcomed us—from check-in to check-out.

Google
320 Guest Ranch was the best vacation we have ever been on!!! The ranch was beautiful, the cabins were incredible, and the staff was amazing! Our two trail rides were so unbelievably beautiful and our wranglers were Maddie, Lindsey, and Greenlee were fantastic. Marsh runs a great barn out there!!! Complimentary breakfast was delicious, and it was so incredible to watch the horses out in their pasture every night. Thank you 320 for the best experience!!!

We just spent one night at the 320 Guest Ranch, so we were not able to enjoy the many recreational experiences they offer. Located in the Gallatin Valley on the Gallatin River, the Ranch is nestled in beautiful, mountainous Southwest Montana. The cabin was beautiful and clean, with a space heater and a fireplace to keep the guests in the cabin warm. We registered in advance to attend their porch-side picnic. The weather got a little rainy before dinner, so they had to move us inside the spacious dining room. The food was very good and plentiful. The huckleberry pudding cake for dessert was outstanding. After dinner, we took a little walk around the ranch and watched some people flyfishing for trout (with success) in the Ranch's private pond. We also petted the horses that came over to the fence to see the strangers walking around their corral. The ranch hands built a big community bonfire, and several guest families came out to enjoy the fire and cook s'mores. They are only about 1/2 hour from West Yellowstone, with easy access to Yellowstone National Park. The front desk manager was very helpful and friendly. They have a nice gift shop with a variety of 320 Ranch merchandise.

Google
Phenomenal experience at this beautiful ranch. If you looking for a true Western getaway, this is the place for you. You can make it as active or relaxing as you want. The cabins have a rustic feel, but were all super clean, updated, and comfortable. We loved the breakfast and dinner options, and all of the activities available. We will definitely stay here again.

Google
Amazing selection of trails here that can keep you busy for 3 days or even 5. Great horses and wranglers are top notch. Would suggest having more of a staff and guest drinks to make it more.of a ranch experience but otherwise one of the best riding holidays we've done

Yelp
Located between Big Sky and Yellowstone National Park, this was the venue for my cousin's wedding. All of the guests were able to book their cabins here and it was BEAUTIFUL! They have activities that you can book ahead of time. My sister, husband and I booked the 2-hour horseback riding ($120) and it was definitely worth it. We had so much fun and would highly recommend this to anyone that visits. Your stay includes breakfast at McGill's and it was pretty decent and they change up the items daily. Waffles, eggs, sausage, pastries, fruit, biscuits & gravy, yogurt & granola, coffee, tea, juice. McGill's is also available for dinner and it's so convenient. I recommend making reservations. The ranch is roughly 45 minutes to Bozeman airport and also 45 minutes to the west entrance into Yellowstone National Park. The wedding was gorgeous, and the ranch sets the perfect atmosphere of a classic Western vibe. The whole family had a great time. It's a beautiful ranch and a gem along the Gallatin river, 10/10.

Yelp
Food was outstanding! Service is always delightful, our server was attentive but not intrusive, kept our drinks coming too. We have always enjoyed our visits to 320 Ranch.

Yelp
The cabin and property were lovely but the guy that checked us in was definitely not a good first impression to the property - very surly and unhelpful and did not offer an apology to the fact that we booked a fireplace room and was told the fireplace was broken. We met a lot of people on our 10 day travels throughout Montana and found everyone so friendly and hospitable - he was the only rude person we met.....other guests mentioned the same thing Overall a lovely secluded property on a beautiful creek. And the lady that checked us out was friendly and the young girl in the dining room was lovely.

Yelp
I am not reviewing the cabins or restaurants but my poor review is because we tried for three days to schedule horseback riding for my niece and each time I spoke with someone they said they would leave a message for "Activities" to call me. I was also told to call back in the morning (I did) and then told to call back that afternoon (I did) - if I got a live person they said they would leave a message for "Activities" and when I left a voice message I asked for "Activities" to call me. We even stopped at the front office and of course "Activities" was gone and "I can see they have a note here to call you" but they were unable to help us (the gals at the front desk were very nice). We contacted other companies: I left a message with one and they promptly called us back and even though they were booked were willing to put us on a cancellation list. We left a message with another who also returned our call and were able to schedule us and we enjoyed a beautiful ride with an amazing wrangler...we'll return there next year.

Yelp
Stayed in mid October... Cabin riverfront Pros: gorgeous! Pristine location to Yellowstone. Lovely Mountain View's, right on the gallatin river. Nice staff, easy check in, check out. Cabin stocked with all your needs , free continental breakfast included! Cons: WiFi is awful, in case of emergency and needing to get ahold of someone or vice versa it's near impossible. Have to physically leave your cell phone right next to the front door of cabin near WiFi extender outside. Still only 1 bar at best. Restaurant closed for season Bed is extremely hard and very uncomfortable Shower is like one on a travel trailer, can't even turn around Pricey!......over $400 a night.

Yelp
Best meal of the trip (other than what we cooked at home)!! Everyone is from Texas, and you can tell by the hospitality they provide here. Strong drinks by the bartenders and INCREDIBLE food by the chef (Luke, from Wisconsin). We asked to meet him, but he was the only chef and working sooooo hard for the restaurant. I wouldn't have known by the quality of the food, this was an amazing experience and the appetizers, entrees, and desserts went above all of our expectations! Definitely a must-try for visitors and locals alike. We started with the trout cakes, and wild mushroom & game appetizers. AMAZING. The flavor profiles are ridiculously unique and made the perfect start. The elk tenderloins were absolutely delectable and the huckleberry fig jam that comes on top of it is absolutely to die for. The parsnip puree was delightful and the perfect topping for these. For dessert: huckleberry bread pudding & a chocolate, coffee creme brûlée-- this tasted like you mixed an espresso martini and a tiramisu cake together. And the bread pudding had the most unique hint of huckleberry and vanilla bean; the perfect end to an incredible dinner.

Yelp
Driving through and had 2 young kids that needed to use the bathroom. We stopped in and the staff working the front counter and were extremely sweet and let my girls use the bathroom! The bathroom was SUPER clean and the rest of the place looked great as well. Just wanted to say thank you.

Yelp
Loved 320 Ranch, we stayed in a mountain side cabin in late August of this year. The cabins are cozy and well appointed with free Wi-Fi and the beds are so comfortable. Free breakfast for the guest and it was great food. We had dinner at McGill's, I had the NY Strip and fries and hands down the best meal that I had on the trip. If you are going to Yellowstone this is a great jumping off spot. Super close to the West Yellowstone gate so very easy to get through the gate in the early morning before the traffic backs up. It would actually be less expensive to use 320 Ranch as your lodging versus staying in the park. If you are fishing the rivers in and around West Yellowstone this would be a perfect base of operation. I didn't get to ride with the 320 Ranch team, but that is definitely a bucket list item for next time. If you want to wake up and feel like you are in Montana, this is the place for you. Accommodations and the services are great, and the people at the ranch are so nice.

Yelp
Y'all made me feel like a Montana cowgirl! Good place to grab a meal! The main dining cabin is beautiful and everything you'd want a rustic cabin to be. And the views... well, it just doesn't get much better.

Yelp
We only visited the ranch to attend the Thursday night Mountain Medicine class. It was a small class when my husband and I attended with only one other couple, but so worth the drive from the Big Sky Resort. You get a great bit of education about the ranch's herstory, how to identify some common medicinal plants, and what to do to draw out medicine from plants like in a tincture or herbal infusion. The teacher was very knowledgeable and it was just a well-rounded workshop on commonly found trees and flowering plants and how to work with them. I highly recommend the class and a visit to 320 Ranch!

Yelp
Restaurant was closed so no comment on food, service was good, ambiance was amazing. First Heads up, WiFi horrible and no cell service so don't plan on checking on family or kids, just a heads up not a big deal if you don't. Beds so hard so if you are looking for a comfortable bed not going to happen, unless it was all three beds in cabin 3 only haha. Great place and beautiful. Would definitely come back.

Yelp
We had such an amazing experience here. Absolutely beautiful. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. There is fishing and hiking on the premises plus horseback riding. They have lots of extra little things like a campfire in the evenings and their complimentary breakfast spread is not to be missed.
google avatar

Yelp
Came down for a 2 hour horse ride while vacationing in the area. We called ahead of time to see if a day hike would be good idea, but as inexperienced riders, they suggested we stick to 2 hours, or else we'd be sore. I think it was a perfect amount of time. We took the river side trail where we got to go along the river, through a part of the stream, and into a beautiful meadow full of sage bush. We didn't see any wildlife but the views were great. It's a pretty slow pace so I don't think anyone nervous would be uncomfortable. My horse name was sorrel Buddy and he was the best horse for me. He would stope to think about his steps he would take and was very careful not to trip on roots or rocks that may have been sticking out. All the handlers were very nice and I would highly recommend! Don't forget to tip!

Yelp
What an amazing place ! The cabin was amazing. Ranch is mid drive to Big a sky one way , and west Yellowstone park the other . We didn't have a chance to eat at the restaurant, but the complementary breakfast was yummy !! Horse back riding was so amazing . They "drive" 60 or so horses from the mountains across the way , down to the stables almost daily and is it so breathtaking to watch . We went to big sky and zipped line . Yellowstone to the old faithful, and a ton of hiking . I will definitely be returning!!

Yelp
Western style glamping! Spacious, well-maintained cabins. Delicious hot breakfast buffet every morning. Variety of activities including trail rides, fly fishing, square dancing, buckboard ride to chuck wagon BBQ, campfire, cards. Everyone on the staff aimed to please. Gorgeous setting in the mountains with Gallatin River running alongside. Located just a few miles from Big Sky for hiking, rafting, ziplining, skiing, ATV rentals, shopping and great local restaurants.

Yelp
Really cool space- they also have pool tables in addition to the decor. The meat was INCREDIBLE. The lamb lollipops were delicious. I got the fish and chips which was absolutely massive- highly recommend for seafood lovers! Definitely recommend this place for out of towners I've never been anywhere like it

Yelp
Heard the reviews and was excited to sample all of the wild game. Unfortunately, the meal preparation was overly ambitious and put a damper on the meal especially at the prices charged.. We ordered the 320 game and mushrooms for an app which was fantastic and rich. Also ordered the special fries which were ok, nothing special. The beet salad was huge and good. Side salads were heavily dressed and soaking in dressing. We ordered 2 beef rib risottos which were not good. One had way too much fat on it and little meat. The other was overdone like jerky. The risotto was not the best. The chicken dish was way over cooked and very dry. The elk on bone steaks had great meat but was very salty so it was hard to taste the flavor of the meat. We skipped dessert. The server was nice but not trained well which we get being in a rural area, but again at these prices? Maybe it was an off night because the other reviews were good? Just our experience.

P H.

Yelp
On the Trail Rides, I'm giving the wranglers and location a 5-star but I'm giving the older boss man who yelled at my daughter 0 stars! If you lack basic patience and kindness, maybe you shouldn't work with guests. So that averages out to a 2-star review.
google avatar

Tim J.

Yelp
Nice location, staff was great, but man those cabins creaked and cried all night. Hard to sleep. The breakfast did not live up to the dinner menu. Try harder I would say.

Yelp
This review concerns McGill's Steakhouse only. Our party of seven dined here on Sunday, June 26, 2022 around 8:00 p.m. We had just come from Big Sky where an earlier restaurant had given our reservation to another party, so we were feeling disappointed and hungry. We had McGill's address, and our GPS led us to 320 Guest Ranch. However, once on the ranch's sprawling grounds we spent the next ten minutes driving around looking for McGill's, but all signage referred to 320 Guest. We asked some people strolling on the grounds, but nobody had heard of McGill's. On a hunch, we walked into a large building that looked like it might be a restaurant, and sure enough: we'd found McGill's. We were greeted with a smile and our party was seated promptly and menus handed out. Then the mishaps began: One of us ordered the Homestead Carrots, but the waitperson advised us the kitchen was out of carrots. Others wanted the Wilson's Chicken Sandwich, but the waitperson advised us the kitchen was out of chicken. We ended up ordering several Brask Burgers, Luke's Bacon Jam Grilled Cheeses, Tomato Bisques, and a salad. When the salad was brought out, it was topped with shaved carrots. Carrots? Maybe the only carrots in the kitchen were for salads; the waitperson had no comment on the irony. When the rest of our meals were delivered, the waitperson mistakenly handed a grilled cheese to one of us who had ordered a burger. She apologized, saying she'd go get the burger and went back to the kitchen taking the grilled cheese with her. All of us had our meals now except for one. We waited for what seemed like an eternity before she came back out of the kitchen and apologized again, this time saying that there was no burger to be had because she thought the order had been for a grilled cheese. At this point the unlucky member of our party volunteered to take the grilled cheese now instead of waiting even longer for the burger. The waitperson went back to the kitchen and this time, thankfuly, came right back out with the grilled cheese again. Alas, follow-up service was dismal--we were ignored--obliging us to aggressively flag down our waitperson for beverage and water refills. The restaurant could have helped make things right by not charging for the unordered grilled cheese, but no such credit was offered. As for the food itself, I had a Brask Burger and tomato bisque. The burger was decent, the tomato bisque thick and tasty. The fries that came with the burger were nothing special and the serving size rather paltry; a pickle spear would have been nice.

Yelp
Everything about this place is a 10 Star experience. From its natural beauty to its kind , helpful & generous staff. This was our first visit to the Ranch but it won't be our last. We were a family of 15 from 6 to 72 years young. And each one of us had a Great Time. As I said before This Ranch won't disappoint!

Yelp
Stayed here for the trip to Yellowstone (west entrance). It's worth the extended drive to Big Sky, which passes by West Yellowstone from Idaho. Spacious cabin with two queen beds that were clean, comfortable, and with fluffy pillows. No wi-fi in cabin which is a beaut too. Breakfast included per day's stay, and it was really good food. Employees throughout were helpful and cheerful. This place just really nailed what hospitality means. You can tell there was customer-focus and passion in what they do. I'd love to be back.

Yelp
We've being escaping our Canyon Lodge in Yellowstone park and driving for 1.5 hours, just to spend 2-3 hours in this amazing spot! Loved everything there: beautiful location, amazing food, nice people, fishing, playground for kids, and so on! Highly recommend!

Julie G.

Yelp
Drove 38 minutes from where we were in Big Sky to go to their advertised 'pig roast'. It was $20 a person for cold plain bbq, beans, potato salad, slaw, salad, cornbread and a cookie. Nothing was warm. Nothing was special. Nothing was worth $20 a person. What a picturesque location with so much potential to make it so great. Make killer food. Give dessert options. The place was clean and the grounds were pretty, hence the 2 stars. Step it up. It wouldn't be hard.

Yelp
We came here to do the sleigh ride and dinner. The sleigh ride was nice and the guide nice too. Don't remember his name, but he was a young guy. Easy going and provided some interesting facts along the ride. The sleigh is about 4 rows, holding 4 people each row. Blankets were provided for everyone (which helped tremendously with the cold). Its a two horse pulled sleigh. The ride itself is about 20 minutes out across their field where we are taken to a big tent and fire. Inside the tent is the food and drinks. The 3 meat chili was amazing. There was more than enough for our group, and we seriously chowed down. They also provided cheeses, crackers, and popcorn. As for drinks, they had a bar in the tent serving about 5 different warm, alcoholic drinks. I had kahlua and coffee, some baileys and coffee, peppermint mocha and schnapps, etc. Drinks are included, just bring cash to tip. Once we had our fill we made our was back on the sleigh. Whole trip is 1 hour, and $35 per person. It was a nice experience. We then ate at the restaurant inside. Servers were nice. The restaurant was empty tho for a Tuesday night. Food was ok, but we didn't order much after filling up on the chili. Overall a nice experience.

Yelp
We unfortunately got here later than anticipated so we didn't get to have dinner here but we had a great complimentary breakfast in the morning. Our room was spacious and very clean! The bedding was nice and the beds were comfortable. The view from our room was beautiful. The staff that greeted us upon arrival was very friendly and the staff that was helping at breakfast was equally as friendly. I'd return here for sure if I ever find myself in the area again.

Yelp
The only reason I was able to experience Montana and 320 Guest Ranch was because of my wife's sorority sister's wedding. They surely did their research and chose the best place for their guest to stay in Montana. Easy drive to get to and not far from all the activities, shops, and restaurants. The cabins were nice and cozy, lots of space, clean cabin, free wifi, cable tv, dining hall, and an amazing view from any angle. If ever plan to visit again we will definitely stay with 320 Guest Ranch.

Yelp
Loved this place. We'd been looking for dog friendly in Big Sky and found 320 We booked the Mcgill cabin, spotless and 100% authentic. Lots of room and all amenities (coffee, wifi, hair dryer etc) Horses looked healthy and happy (not like some trail horses). Fabulous free breakfast and 5 star restaurant. Highly recommend

Yelp
My family and I stayed for 5 days and had a ball. Perfectly situated along the Gallatin River, the views we amazing and the staff was awesome. We were welcomed with open arms, enjoyed the ranch, had a great two hour horseback ride "Montana Experience" and truly enjoyed our vacation at the ranch. Breakfast every morning was amazing! Highly recommend!

April H.

Yelp
Rented a luxury cabin but it's not luxury like you would expect. It's bare essentials. Have to wash any of the dishes first because bugs have been on them and many kitchen utensils are broken. Little disheartened at the cabin and $ spent on it. Not the highest recommendation to stay at.

Yelp
The 320 guest ranch was an awesome Nature experience for a mom and daughter duo from California. My mom and I stayed 7 days during the winter season here. I can only imagine how beautiful it is during other times of the year. We even got to see a pregnant moose next our cabin. Our package was all exclusive. When we arrived we were given cute cowboy hats and a spa gift bag was placed on our beds. We had our own little cabin. It was well furnished and had the comforts of home. Breakfast , sack lunch ( if ordered the night before ), and diner were provided. Dinner at their steakhouse was awesome. Every night there was something new to try off their full menu. They make an awesome garlic roasted goat cheese , jeweled moose, and great steaks. My mom and I even tried the Rocky Mountain oysters ( code for moose balls ). A++ food and service. While we were here we booked tours for dog sledding, snowmobiling, horseback riding, skiing at Big Sky, sleigh ride, tour of Old faithful and the park, and two tickets to the local museum in Bozeman. I would definitely come back here again. Super customer service over the phone , via email, and in person.

Sara B.

Yelp
We did not stay at the ranch, but we did attend the Chuckwagon BBQ which was a really fun experience. We also needed reservations for a special birthday dinner and the staff was very helpful and accommodating in getting us a table at the on site restaurant, McGill's.

Yelp
There is no better place for quiet solitude in the mountains. The cabins are simple but well equipt. There are hiking trails on site and plenty of beautiful scenery and wildlife to see. There are comfy Adirondack chairs on the porch to sit and read a book. It is a calm and peaceful place to recharge your batteries and gain respite from the busy tides of life. Dinner and breakfast were all excellent and enjoyed just being able to sit in the dinning area and have a cup of tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our horseback riding tour and our guide was fantastic.

Donna P.

Yelp
Bethany hostess and server has a great personality. Common ground since she and us originally from Texas. Beet salad wedge salad fish and Chips and elk medallions all good. When asked to sub Brussels and kale I would have appreciated knowing about the up charges. She did remove the Brussels. Out of sauvingnon blanc disappointing. Glad 320 open again in winter for dinner.

Yelp
Nice cabins, comfortable beds, friendly staff, cool views and really good food onsite at McGills. Definitely worth a stay if you're near Big Sky or headed to Yellowstone.

Debbie W.

Yelp
From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out, everything was perfect! We arrived after the office closed our 1st night, so the staff taped an envelope containing our room key with directions to our cabin, which we really appreciated! We also appreciated arriving to a nice, roaring fire outside next to the teepee and seating area every night. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The busy season hadn't started yet, so timing was great. Our family of 3 took a 2-hour horseback ride in the beautiful mountainous scenery and had the trail guide to ourselves. Dinner at the restaurant on site was superb and service was superior! We took part in the all-you-can-eat Cowboy BBQ the ranch holds on Wednesdays. The friendly staff brought the diners to the picnic area located next to the beautiful Gallatin river via horse-drawn wagon. Once again, the food was superb! I enjoyed all of the food and loved the potato salad. They even had a nice roaring fire to sit by and roast marshmallows to make s'mores (ingredients provided, of course). The ranch is a fantastic place to relax, hike on and near the property, which consists of 320 acres of breathtaking scenery. We also went to Yellowstone twice (once with a private tour company listed on 320 ranch website). I also liked the Go Green incentive in which the ranch credits you $10 for each day you do not have maid service. Simply put the green placard on the door. We also walked through downtown Bozeman, which has many nice shops and restaurants. The river current was pretty fast and water cold, so we did not do a whitewater raft ride during our visit. If you are looking for a great place to stay to experience a ranch experience with fabulous food and friendly staff, I highly recommend 320 Ranch!

Yelp
We came here for a trail ride and had a pretty good experience. They took us across the highway on to national forest land for a scenic and comfortable experience. While the highway is a bit busy, their staff stops traffic before you get anywhere near the road. Our wrangler was very friendly and our horses were an easy ride and pretty much guided themselves. The checkin experience at the front desk was a little brusque, but the price was right ($60/per person) for a couple hours on horseback.

Yelp
It's a great place to unwind from my city life. Lovely ranch, we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with fully equipped kitchen. Sipped coffee early in the morning with view of the ranch, seeing horses galloping. Dined in the ranch steakhouse , especially love the Elk Tenderloin Carpaccio and Beet Salad. Elk meat was thinly sliced, tender and fresh but no gamey taste. Beet salad had green smith apple that's so refreshing! I stayed with 320 Guest Ranch in July and in September this year, both trips had great memories, the quality of their friendly and professional service that made everything work together! Definitely will go back on my next trip!

Yelp
Had a wonderful stay over New Years Eve 2017. The room was clean, comfy, and warm. You would have never known it was 4 degrees outside. We enjoyed dinner then evening we arrived and the elk steak and peach cobbler were amazing. I had packages delivered and they were ready for me at the check in desk upon arrival. The sleigh ride was so much fun and a must do. They provided wool blankets so I was not chilly at all. The morning breakfast was perfect and a great place to gather with other guests and plan your day.

Yelp
This was the worst experience during our 5,530 mile vacation experience. Only got two hours of sleep, the toilet was broken and ran out of toilet paper. Checked out at 10am and didn't get a chance to enjoy any breakfast due to lack of sleep. The front desk wasn't even concerned about the terrible experience and was only pleased about letting maintenance know so the next guest would be happy. So many empty cabins and we got put in the one with a broken toilet. We had to use a fireplace poker to flush the toilet. I got up at 2:30am to bring in our own TP from our truck. Management doesn't even care about our terrible experience so that says a lot about this place.

Yelp
This was a fantastic vacation spot, I loved our cabin #40. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend visiting this ranch. They have a free breakfast and they have an amazing dinner. You can also pay money for a horse riding session, I highly suggested.

Yelp
When I was driving across country with my dad we were staying in all select service Marriott's because I was traveling with a pet, used to work for the company so was comfortable with the product, but unfortunately at the time of booking there were none around the Big Sky area we were stopping in so we could drive through Yellowstone the next day. I looked into a few pet friendly places in the vicinity I wanted and am THRILLED we stayed here. The grounds were the most beautiful thing I have seen in awhile! This area was apparently where they filmed parts of A River Runs Through It and Legends of the Falls so I was ecstatic to be in the area on that fact alone, but seeing the ranch made me instantly feel more relaxed then I had been in quite some time. The room was quaint and comfortable and all we needed for the night - my fury friend was welcome. Would recommend this ranch to anyone passing through! Do not get me started on their restaurant! There were not many options in the area and we did not get in much before 6pm so we unanimously decided to eat at the restaurant on the grounds. We were just expecting a pub type place, which turned out to be a wonderful fine dining restaurant. I ordered the fish and we shared a dessert. What made this hotel experience even better was the friendliness of the staff and everyone we encountered!

Yelp
We stayed at the ranch for a long weekend and it was beautiful! Horse riding with Maddi was the best! We enjoyed riding and chatting with her. Kaitlyn was very professional and informative at check-in and helped us book activities on the ranch. She even gave great suggestions for Yellowstone. During our visit, the ranch hosted a movie night on the front field. Snacks, wine and a movie with an incredible view! Thanks for a great stay, 320!

Yelp
My family and I had such a fun night at 320 guest ranch. We had a lovely dinner (although service was slow) and went on a sleigh ride. The saloon menu was great for half of us and the regular menu satisfied the needs of the other half of our party. The saloon menu portions were large so keep that in mind. The salads were mostly leafy greens so not very exciting. The chili was amazing. The sleigh ride was a fun experience and something none of us had done before. It was a short ride to the tent where they served amazing alcoholic (i highly recommend the Apple Jack) and non alcoholic drinks, popcorn and a berry cobbler. Then the ride back was about 15 minutes. It was an experience we will remember.

Yelp
Pros: Beautiful setting, friendly staff, cleanly rooms, good water pressure in rooms, functional AC, easy parking outside cabins. Cons: Extremely early checkout (10am! With a $50 fee if you check out late), short/early breakfast hours, shower doesn't get as hot as I like. Overall: This was a great experience and I would recommend the 320 Guest Ranch for your next stay near Big Sky Montana!

Yelp
Hands down the best accommodations in Montana. We stayed in the Ramshorn cabin and it was so beautiful. The cabin is cozy with three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a loft and fully equipped kitchen. They provide everything you need wood chips, firewood and linens. I cannot wait to bring my family back in the spring. If you are looking for a good cabin in Montana near Big Sky, look no further. You will not regret it from the time you drive over the bridge over the Gallatin River onto the ranch property until the time you drive off. The staff, the service and the property is just absolutely wonderful.

Yelp
This was the wonderful combination of a homey room, perfectly decorated. The hospitality was so warm by genuine and warm folks. We could have spent a week there. We live 2500 miles away but we are definitely going back there

Yelp
We enjoyed the Mountain Chalet we rented and the friendliness/service orientation of the staff. All the people working there were great. The location is lovely and scenic. But when we went for a week in late May there was NOTHING going on at the ranch. No horseback riding, no fly shop or fly fishing lessons, no restaurant or cafe open (had to drive to Big Sky for meals), no housekeeping services ("due to COVID-19", but all W. Yellowstone hotels were providing housekeeping). "Hearty continental breakfast" was quite meager. Yet we were charged "high season" rates. If you book here MAKE SURE they're providing all advertised services before committing!

Yelp
We can for 2 nights and didn't want to leave!! The place wasn't fully up and running since it was mid May but the location can't be beat. Quiet, serene and right along the Gallatin. My kids loved tossing snowballs, seeing the mama and baby colt, fishing in the pond while my husband was in heaven hiking behind the ranch. The cabin perfect for us with 2 boys. One minor disappointment, not enough hot water to fill a tub. My hubby had to boil pots of water to keep the temp above lukewarm. But hey, "it's like olden days" I told my son. We would love to come back during early summer for all the activities.
