The oyster experience was sososo fresh! I should have order more But seafood fried was a bit dull There was one guy that very attentive to customers! Others were standing around

We did some tapas and wines there and it was amazing. They have a very good wine menu with some options for you to drink by the glass - they even include the Vivino score so you don’t have to search for it LOL The food had ups and downs. The oysters are fresh, but the Tempura Fusion we ordered had too many Jalapeños and few Prawns - it felt like a very small portion. The best option was the Bao trio, they were awesome! Nedie, who served us on that day was awesome, always attentive and asking for any needs.

Delicious food with a very relaxing atmosphere. There are lots of options to choose from. The breakfast was very good value for money. Would definitely recommend them if you're visiting Knysna.

It was my first time seeing Abalone at a South African restaurant, and I simply had to try it. It tastes like a combination of a mushroom and calamari, but it's a bit chewy (almost like the texture of a calamari steak). Will I order it again.... honestly no..... for the price paid and the fact that it's a bit chewy, I would rather pay less and go for the calamari. My husband ordered the calamari and it was perfect. The atmosphere is great, but be sure to book as to not be disappointed.

Great location on the waterfront amongst other shops and restaurants. Good menu selection and there are daily specials.

Went to try the oysters. Absolutely amazing and fresh. If you're ever in knysna, definitely give this restaurant a visit. Lovely food, atmosphere and Blaize, our waiter provided amazing service.

Hake with Parmesan was amazing. Oysters also. Sushi was ok. Recommended

I wish I had taken more pictures of the restaurant. They were very busy with customers, and the space of the restaurant was packed with tables of goods everywhere, so it does make it harder to take pictures. Inside the restaurant, they have a little market where you can buy imported treats, local confectioneries, sauces, condiments, merchandise, wines, baked goods and fresh/frozen produces etc. As for the dining side, overall, it was a great experience from the flavours of the food to the wonderful service we received from all the servers. The food we ordered got great flavours even though it wasn't 'fine-dining' presentation. The best thing is the freshness of the seafood. 100% freshness!!! The prices are very reasonable here compared to JHB and good portion sizes. We did ordered oysters which increased the range per person. If you at the Knysna Waterfront, you should try this place!!! I would definitely order the calamari. You will never taste this kind of soft calamari in JHB!!!
