It was really amazing stay. If you want to be near sightseeing and Hamra Street and Beirut Downtown and if you wanna to have an affordable clean hotel, then Offcourse you should reserve here.

The location was great, everything is very close to you. It’d a simple hotel with no breakfast. But it was good. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe there and they were very kind! This is how the view looks like, outside of the hotel:

I feel the reviews and website do not accurately describe this place. In reality, it’s quite the opposite. I feel catfished. It is important to note the the website mentions smoking/non-smoking rooms but does not give the opportunity to select which. Make sure to contact via WhatsApp before paying. Upon arrival to our room we noticed a distinct cigarette smell and ashtray. We requested a separate room but they said they were booked out (more on this later). The headboard appeared to be cracked and the plastic was peeling off, towels smelled like cigarettes and slight mold signs in the restroom. We thought this was a bad sign but decided to stay anyways. Later that night, I could only describe this place as becoming a brothel. The lobby fills with middle-aged men. Waiting of nothing, something, or someone to appear. My girlfriend would not have felt safe if she was traveling alone. As I developed food positing from dinner previously, we started to hear the noises from next door(s). Highly exaggerated and loud, not soundproofed much at all. Earplugs helped. Combined with vomiting from food poisoning this was basically a nightmare. I understand that Lebanon has fallen on hard times and maybe this could be a chance to make some easy money, but for me, a non-smoker looking for rest, this was not the place. Perhaps the change was recent and it will change again soon but I can only speak of right now.

Best staff ever. All the concierge members and all the housekeepers are soooooooo kind and nice and wonderful. I really cannot say enough nice things about the staff here. They are absolutely amazing. I stayed here for a month and this hotel was just perfect for me. Also...NO ELECTRICITY CUTS!!!!! Location is very central and you can just walk to most things. I recommended this place to a friend and she is staying here for her visit to Beirut. I will continue to recommend this place to anyone who may be going to Beirut!

The hotel is very central in Hamra, the rooms are spacious and equipped. Mini fridge, coffee and tea station, and pleasantly decorated. |What made my stay memorable is the team members working there. They were super friendly and always willing to accommodate and help. Always serving with a smile and always eager to assist. |Will defiantly consider this hotel for future visits.

It is an OK hotel in a great location. The room was all right, nothing to write home about, but it was clean and equipped with a fridge and a tea/coffee station. The bathroom is extremely tiny and there is no hot water in the washbasin (hot water is working fine in the shower though). Breakfast is acceptable but not the best selection. I would return to 35 rooms for its convenience and location.

Location very convenient in the heart of Hamra. Parking very close, but no possibility to park after midnight. However some places will be available on the street for parking. The hotel is trendy but no availability of non smoking rooms. The tobacco smell is extremely bad in the room that even my personal belongings and cloth were smelling of tobacco as if i was smoking myself. Staff very friendly and helpful. Recommended if you are a smoker or you don't mind the smell in the rooms.

we booked a room for 4 nights through booking. Once we got there, they upgraded us to a junior suite as the premium room was not available. The view from the room balcony is the photo with the burnt building you see here with a horrible smell. Also next to our balcony their was a hole on the wall with beds!!! The room smelled cigarettes, the sofa didn’t seem clean and generally not like the photos in booking. See the “kitchen” in my picture and compare to kitchen in booking. The walls were dirty and the balconies were connected with the next room. The location, a chaos! Moved up a street to bliss street at the same night - the difference was huge! 100dollars more, with breakfast and great sea view!! |Book only if you want super budget holiday.
