We won’t be returning. The lack of attention from the owners & management is unbelievable. Constant shortage of towels & pillows, rooms reeking of cigarette smoke, air conditioning that plays up, room cards that constantly fail. Very upsetting when you raise these issues with the team & they can’t do anything. Truly unacceptable.

It’s very upsetting that I had to pay an arm and a leg for a place that I thought would be very local to where I wanted to go. Unfortunately, this place did not meet expectations. Staff were very unprofessional. They didn’t have towels or pillows with an excuse that housekeeping hasn’t came yet. The lobby and the bedroom is all smell like cigarettes, and there were cigarette holes in our mattress. We had to freshen up the room as soon as we walked in. Every time we would call they wouldn’t answer so we had to call them from their website to ask the basic things our air conditioner kept on turning off and on for some reason and staff had to keep coming in to fix it up. There is no shampoo or conditioner, so make sure to bring your own. Even the staff were ranting about how management doesn’t supply basic needs for their customers. Unfortunately, I will not be back.

The experience was way below average.. especially the cleanness of the room and how old and used the furniture.. its a shame with that location

It was really amazing stay. If you want to be near sightseeing and Hamra Street and Beirut Downtown and if you wanna to have an affordable clean hotel, then Offcourse you should reserve here.

The location was great, everything is very close to you. It’d a simple hotel with no breakfast. But it was good. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe there and they were very kind! This is how the view looks like, outside of the hotel:

Best staff ever. All the concierge members and all the housekeepers are soooooooo kind and nice and wonderful. I really cannot say enough nice things about the staff here. They are absolutely amazing. I stayed here for a month and this hotel was just perfect for me. Also...NO ELECTRICITY CUTS!!!!! Location is very central and you can just walk to most things. I recommended this place to a friend and she is staying here for her visit to Beirut. I will continue to recommend this place to anyone who may be going to Beirut!

I feel the reviews and website do not accurately describe this place. In reality, it’s quite the opposite. I feel catfished. It is important to note the the website mentions smoking/non-smoking rooms but does not give the opportunity to select which. Make sure to contact via WhatsApp before paying. Upon arrival to our room we noticed a distinct cigarette smell and ashtray. We requested a separate room but they said they were booked out (more on this later). The headboard appeared to be cracked and the plastic was peeling off, towels smelled like cigarettes and slight mold signs in the restroom. We thought this was a bad sign but decided to stay anyways. Later that night, I could only describe this place as becoming a brothel. The lobby fills with middle-aged men. Waiting of nothing, something, or someone to appear. My girlfriend would not have felt safe if she was traveling alone. As I developed food positing from dinner previously, we started to hear the noises from next door(s). Highly exaggerated and loud, not soundproofed much at all. Earplugs helped. Combined with vomiting from food poisoning this was basically a nightmare. I understand that Lebanon has fallen on hard times and maybe this could be a chance to make some easy money, but for me, a non-smoker looking for rest, this was not the place. Perhaps the change was recent and it will change again soon but I can only speak of right now.

The hotel is very central in Hamra, the rooms are spacious and equipped. Mini fridge, coffee and tea station, and pleasantly decorated. |What made my stay memorable is the team members working there. They were super friendly and always willing to accommodate and help. Always serving with a smile and always eager to assist. |Will defiantly consider this hotel for future visits.
