This place was well located, basic, clean and cheap. The shower worked well. The bar was decent and I booked up their day trip to Mutianyu, which went smoothly. If you have to go to BJ, I’d recommend here. Good luck getting around BJ without any Chinese 👍

We are an American couple who stayed in a private 2 twin bedded room for 5 nights and it met all of our needs. We were on the 3rd floor and our room faced a wall and it was very quiet. Beds were typical hard Chinese beds so not great, but pretty typical for this country. Towels were old, but serviceable. Linens changed daily and cleanliness was fine. This hostel met all of our needs but isn't anything fancy. However, we absolutely loved the location in the Hutong and enjoyed seeing the shopkeepers in the mornings opening up their shops. We ate most meals in the Hutong every night and did take away one night to eat in the fun hang-out tables on the first floor of the hostel. The one meal we ate in the hostel restaurant was fine, but nearly all Amerian food which wasn't what we wanted on our first week in China but would be good if you haven't had any for a while. The staff was average on the helpful scale. We were surprised about payment arrangements. We had booked in advance on Booking.com and thought we'd paid ahead but it had evidently only reserved the room. When we arrived they asked for cash for the 5 nights which depleted our cash reserve. When we left, they erased the charge on our credit card and kept the cash as payment. Just be sure to plan on this because it took a lot of our Chinese currency unexpectedly. Overall, a great experience and you just can't beat the price and location in any major city.

Really great hostel. Staff were friendly, the food was great (especially the omelets). The rooms were simple and cozy, I just wish there were more bathrooms and showers, it could get a bit crowded, especially on the morning. The location of the hostel was really great too! You cross the street and you are in the middle of the city, really close to the subway and really close to the forbidden city. I super recomend. (Also got to fulfill a childhood dream of writing and drawing in walls)

The location is amazing for old Beijing stuff such as tiananmen square, forbidden city. It's also relatively close to a subway station, so it's easy to get to and leave the area for other stuff in the city. The rooms were really good actually. I expected dorm room style living quarters, but it was just two beds in a single room between me and my friend. The service was good for the most part. I didn't really interact much with the hostel staff downstairs, but the facilities were cleaned more than once a day. I also didn't really make much use of the bar lounge downstairs. I prefer a more chill place to meet fellow travelers and a dimly lit, music playing bar isn't what I had in mind.

I switched to this hostel last minute after arriving at my pre-booked hostel at another location and being extremely disappointed. Switching to 365 Inn was the best decision I could have made! The location was unbelievable! So many places to eat and shop in walking distance, and the subway stations are so conveniently close as well! The bar/lounge/lobby area always had people and my room and bathroom were kept very clean by the staff. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. When I go back to Beijing one day, I will definitely try to stay here again! My only complaint was that being on a busy road, it could be noisy at night, but with ear plugs I slept no problem. I much preferred staying on a busy, lively street than at my previous hostel which was on a sketchy dark alley. Great hostel for young tourists solo (like me) or in a group!

The hostel is good for me. Nice bar to hang out to downstairs and talk to other travellers. The staff are friendly and all smiles. If you're assigned to the top bunk thought you wont have a place to charge your stuff. Youd have to go down the you bunk and charge it by the table in your room. Also would have appreciated if the staff could reply to my emails, I sent tons over a month before my trip but never gotten a reply. But all was good atleast I did not have a problem checking in to the hostel

Pretty much your average hostel with a Western style bar at the bottom floor. If you want a standard and affordable place to stay near Tiananmen Square, this is not a bad choice. The only true negative we found was that our shared bathroom - located inside the 6 bed mixed dorm - was more like a giant shower with a toilet and sink inside of it. We knew to expect a shared bathroom, but it was pretty annoying to be prevented from using the toilet anytime someone in our room was showering, and that the entire bathroom floor and toilet area got soaked after someone showered. I think this setup is fairly common for cheap hostels in China, but personally I would rather pay a little more to stay at a hostel where this was not the case.||||Otherwise, it was a pretty average experience overall. It was nice to have an affordable and well-located spot, and the outdoor seating area for the downstairs bar was nice for having a cheap beer at the end of the day. Just be careful if you're taking a taxi here late at night - the location is good for walking to tourist sights, but is difficult to find from the main road, even with the detailed instructions the hostel provides.
