3BU Hostel Baguio - Upper Bonifacio

I arrived between 2 and 3 AM, and the staff was very accommodating. She provided me with towels and everything I needed. She even moved me to a female pod, which I really appreciated, as she didn’t want me to mix with male guests. My room was spacious enough for me, and the comfort room was also roomy. I never had an experience where someone else was in the shared comfort room with me, so I felt very comfortable using it. However, I didn’t like the shampoo and body wash provided. They were very watery, had no scent, and didn’t lather well. Overall, I liked the location—it’s close to everything. It’s a great place for solo travelers, and if I return, I’ll definitely book here again.

Solid place to stay in downtown Baguio! Cheap food spots are near the area, jeep stops available in front of property, few minutes of walk to Session Road only, plus really good building security. The huts were clean and cozy, many bathroom and shower stalls so there's never a line, and strong wifi. Definitely set my standard for good hostels!

Good location near the SM mall and bus terminal. Good for solo traveller. Not bad room , kinda clean the shared bath rooms and toilets. Shampoo and body wash are provided in the bath rooms. Shower water heater works very well at night. Lol

Best for the Solo travelers! I had my 4 nights and 4 days of stay here alone and grabeee! Super comfy and peaceful. Near pa sa mga famous landmarks here in Baguio. They have this lounge na pwede mag muni muni, or u have a wfh set up. They will allow us to use their ref if u wanna keep your food there. They have a cafe rin upstairs. Will stay here again soon! Best of the best Location, price, amneties wise. The management made a great improvement on their facility Congratulations to them and I'm also thankful. Been a 3BU guest since 2022 I just want to say to 3BU it's very thoughtful of them to add an Co space area for dining with fridge and microwave but wait there's more they have a spare plates and cups !!! For just 450-800 a night we have this place for transient very Traveller friendly. ❤️ Keep it up! As for the staff, they are all friendly and accommodating. I'm happy with their service, I don't get the other negative reviews. Or maybe It was just a coincidence on their end. Way back 2021 I was planning to extend my stay at Baguio during peakseason the staff coordinated on the sub branch to help me out. I really appreciate it!

I had a great stay and really love the concept of a shared space. I guess the only hiccup was the lack of elevator that it was a struggle to lift 25 kg luggage up a flight if stairs.

We stayed a night after our Mt. Ulap hike. Accommodated before check-in without extra fee. Comfortable hut accommodation with many toilet and shower rooms, so no waiting. Free drinking water, reliable Wi-Fi, and allowed to leave bags after check-out since our Baguio departure was late afternoon. Great experience, we’ll return.

NOT RECOMMENDING BECAUSE OF VERY UNHELPFUL STAFF The reservation personal was not able to help me because she was more concerned of their sales. I was instructed over the phone to book for Upper Bonifacio only to find out that it was far from the places we wanted to visit. We took the public transport going back to the hostel due to long lines at the taxi area in SM and no grab car options due to heavy rains. I asked the reservation officer if she can at least transfer me to Session Road since it is nearer but was a No Go. I do understand that they have policies and I respect that but the way it was explained was more of how it affects their sales rather than explaining it in a professional way. So I asked her is she was more concerned of their sales rather than customer satisfaction and it seems that sales matters to her the most. I was even excited to feature this in my travel blog because I do not have any issues in terms the physical features of the hostel. Their reception guy (long hair) was even polite and accommodating. The place is quiet and most of their guests follow the rules. For me, regardless of how cheap or expensive your accommodation is, customer satisfaction will always be the priority. It does not only include your amenities but most importantly the staff behavior. Unfortunately, I will not recommend this hostel due to lack of customer understanding. How can they improve? Training!
