Wonderful establishment in a traditional architectural building of the picturesque Varosi neighborhood. Cozy lounge, rich breakfast, friendly personnel. Pet friendly a huge plus. Highly recommended and will surely return again. Thank you from Syros

This was our second visit to the Varosi Guesthouse and can’t wait to go back. The delightful staff are more than accommodating. The decor is old world charm with up to date furnishings. The bed was comfortable with white bedding. Don’t forget to visit the courtyard to relax by the running water. Greek style breakfast is served with many different options. You have the opportunity to sit outside on the veranda for a beautiful view of Edessa or sit inside.

Positive: Great location, quiet neighborhood and excellent breakfast. Negative: Building is very old and has bad sound proofing.

The hotel is in a very special place in the old city. Very close to all the places to visit. The owner and staff were very kind and hospitable. Our room was spotlessly clean. I was very happy with the white sheets, towels and bathrobes. Our room was warm. There was even an iron and ironing board. The hotel was very nice and authentically restored. Everything was thought out to the smallest detail. I really want to come again. I recommend it to those who come to Eddessa.

This is a special place in the old town Varosi. The guesthouse is beautiful and the staff warm and friendly. There's a lovely shared lounge area on the second floor along with a terrace to enjoy a Greek coffee or breakfast. The waterfalls are only a 5 minute walk away and the old town streets around the guesthouse are so charming. We only wish we had a longer stay!

We stayed at the Varosi Guesthouse for 4 nights in May 2019 on bed and breakfast basis for 60 Euros per night.||The guest house is located in the old part of Edessa close to the Centre of the town and is very convenient for visiting the waterfalls which are the main attraction in Edessa. Breakfast is served in the nearby Varosi Four Seasons Hotel because the Guesthouse has no dining room.||The Guest House is quite small, furnished in traditional Greek ethnic style and is a two story building with quite steep stairs and no lift. It would not be a good choice for anyone with mobility problems. There is a kitchenette on the ground floor to heat food and small seating areas on the first floor for relaxing. The bedroom was comfortable and clean but was SMALL as was the bathroom, there was just enough space to get round the bed but not much else. If you are looking for a spacious bedroom with table and chair and somewhere you can soak in the bath, then perhaps this is not the ideal booking for you. The receptionist was very pleasant and the breakfast at the Four Seasons was excellent, and Edessa town is beautiful with the sounds of the rivers and streams like never ending music

Great traditional guest house. Here you will find 5-star hotel services in a warm and comfortable Greek house. Traditional decoration of bedrooms and common living rooms, extremely clean, very helpful reception. Evangelia & cleaning ladies keep up the good work and your wonderful mood. The fact that the whole neighborhood is graphical and beautiful adds everything to the experience.

I can't think of anything that wasn't perfect about this small hotel. Our room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. The staff are amazing, so helpful, friendly and efficient. We had breakfast in the 'sister' hotel where we were offered a huge range of delicious breakfast dishes. Staying in the old town was another great positive, close to the waterfalls and park. We can highly recommend this hotel and we hope that you would find it as wonderful as we did.
