So nice to be tucked away from the tourist crowds but just a short walk to anything in town. We had a warm welcome and a hand with the bags up (and up and up) to our room, one of the two (#8 and #9) on the top floor. The climb was worth it for the breezes and the views, and the shared terraces were never crowded if we wanted to eat breakfast or relax onsite in the evenings. Really a perfect choice. ||If you continue climbing past the guesthouse, there is a good path up to a cemetery and onward to the Agia Matronas monastery for some spectacular views. Wear good shoes, but it's really not too strenuous, and you'll pass hardly another soul. The more popular walks along the coast to Mandraki in one direction and as far as Plakes in the other are also very rewarding.
