3HB Faro

We stayed three nights here for a quick sun get away. The hotel had been recommended by our relatives and what a fabulous place it is!|We arrived off an early UK flight and whilst our room wasn't ready we were shown to a changing room and then placed our bags with the door man. We then spent our tim around the rooftop pool which is just lovely and so laid back, just what we wanted. We had lunch, club sandwich superb! Our room wasn't ready until 5 to 3 and when we were shown to it the staff had left a chilled bottle of Fizz to say sorry it had taken so long! Really nice thing to do! The room a suit had two terraces was modern clean and had everything covered! The electronic system for curtains and light did take some getting used too! Air Con was very effective. The pillows were totally spot on and gave lovely nights sleep.|Breakfast was a buffet with ordered cooked foods all really good quality food especially the Portuguese custard tarts yummy!|All of the staff were really friendly and attentive nothing was too much. Rooms were kept spotless and we think they changed the sheets daily!! Superb!|One thing that might have been nice would be to open the reception bar during the evening, we tended to wander out of the restaurant each night with our drinks and sit people watching.|One tip just outside is a fabulous Ice cream bar yummy!!|On the whole one of the best hotels we've stayed in and we can't wait to get back!!

This is my second trip here within the space of a year, but this time with family. I wanted to bring them here because I was so impressed with it on my last visit, and it didn't fail to live up to expectations. In fact, it seemed better than last time, although nothing had really changed. It had the same ambience and the same good service. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable. I love the pool on the top floor. And the hotel itself is quite conveniently located for the restaurants as well as the shops in Faro. Definitely a good to place when in Faro. You can be assured of good service, great surroundings and a chilled, relaxing atmosphere.

I spent the most relaxing day here as a solo traveller: single room is spacious and has a double bed. Stunning hotel, beautifully designed, great flow through the large spaces, calming decor. Comfy beds. In the centre of faro, accessible to the train station and bus station. The staff is lovely, well organized, genuinely warm in interactions. Immaculately clean, rooms cleaned twice a day. Complimentary water and Cokes in the mini fridge. Rooftop terrace is beautiful, pool is perfect. Sunbeds the most comfortable. Indoor pool and sauna very good. Gym is fine, but small dark. Like much of Portugal there is a lack of handrails at stairs, most importantly at the stairs up to the roof top pool, just at one side of a wide stair case with bush overgrowing the rail and cordon ropes placed in a way that makes using the rail awkward. Beautiful sunset on the roof. Brilliant location to explore the town in the evening. very reasonable price for very high quality hotel

Without doubt, one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Exceptional service and really lovely staff. Beautifully designed rooms with a Scandinavian element to them. If your lucky enough to grab a suite, you won’t be disappointed A big thank you to the hotels management for employing and training such lovely staff. Nothing was ever too much trouble.. A truly excellent stay….

Fabulous, tasteful hotel. Their attention to detail makes a big difference. Everything works!! Really good spa. Great people looking after us. Rooftop facilities excellent and not too crowded; bar food there was excellent. Thank you, if we come to Faro again, we will return to 3HB. The Ria Formosa is a miracle of nature. Faro is a nice honest town, not perfect, but if you try to get to know her she will grow on you. Good eateries. We liked Portugal very much!

This hotel meets the already high set expectations. On arrival the staff on the front desk were lovely and very informative. Since our room wasn’t quite ready yet, they stored our bags for us and we made our way to the terrace roof restaurant. The food was the perfect size and the breeze was lovely.||Our room itself was fantastic. The balcony was a cute perk, the beds were comfy, the AC worked perfectly and the bathroom was spacious and stunning. The mini fridge was fantastic- with free coke, water and milk. The house keeping was superb. My room was constantly tidied, cleaned and refreshed.||Now onto the rooftop area. The pool was beautiful although a little on the chilly side - however- the heat in Portugal makes the chilliness necessary! And whilst we did not take advantage of this, there is an indoor pool, spa and gym. We had little trouble finding a sunbed but they do get quite busy around 5pm. The only slight criticism I have is that potentially they could have less decking chairs and more sunbeds as there was an excess of decking chairs and occasionally a shortage of sunbeds.||Faro itself is slightly run down but is stunning and the vibes are fantastic. Another perk of this hotel is it location. Its a two minute walk from the marina and is meters away from some fantastic restaurants. We got the local ferry to the sandbar which i couldn’t recommend more. It was easy, cheap and the beach was lovely- not overcrowded yet managed to maintain a happy buzz about it.||Overall, this hotel lived up to its positive reputation and i would definitely visit again! I was so impressed by the beauty of this hotel. They were so nice and so welcoming. Our best part of our stay was having breakfast each and every morning and sat in the same spot every day. What was so surprising was our waiter Paulo greeted us with a smile and an inviting gesture. He gave us service with a friendly smile and made us feel very important . We always had small conversations with him each and every day. We would like to thank Paulo for the extra attention as we are an elderly couple. Thank you for making us feel special. In September, after 4 days in Porto, we spent another 4 days in Faro. Wow. The 3HB hotel in Faro was first-class. The room on the third floor we got overlooked part of the city. The rooftop top infinity pool was just stunning offering a great view. Many chairs available which was quite appreciated. The hotel staff was very polite, efficient and considerate. The location of the hotel, downtown, was perfect wherever we wanted to go when visiting, even close to the train station to go to Lagos or Albufeira. Many thanks to all staff at the 3HB hotel!
