A pretty, airy rooftop bbq place that does excellent at-your-table vietnamese-style bbq. Sauces were a bit westernized - the nuoc man in particular was very mild, unfortunately. The ba roi with 5 spice and the goat breast were awesome, but I’ve never had the bo la lot nuong mo chai, beef wrapped in betel leaves and then again in a net of cow fat... it was awesome. Three small plates of these meats were enough for two people. Service was prompt and friendly. Parking is 15k on the street.

I went with some vietnamese people who knew how it all worked so they did all the ordering and cooking; you order raw food (veggies, meat, seafood) and cook it yourself over a gas grill or you can order cooked food (we had frog legs). It was very pricey for Vietnan (~$70 for 4 people) but the service was superb: the were attentive, friendly, understood enough English and took great care of us. It's an open air restaurant in what seems to be an upscale, night-life area. The long hallway and winding, brick staircase up three flights to the roof adds to the romance. There were cats eating scraps out of the garbage but they were cute and not vicious or mangy. The decor was nice by Vietnamese standards. There are some interesting meets to try such as boar skin and goat breast. The shrimp are cooked live which might raise some philosophical questions for the unprepared or uninitiated.

One of the original rooftop barbecue restaurants and still vibrant and popular. Open roof ( slides closed if rains) allows fresh air and city high rise buildings views. Popular feature is the gas barbecue in the tables to cook your own skewers or cuts of meat - the beef & cheese my favorite! Other prepared dishes available - the steamed fish tender and succulent! Also had Saigon Green beers - an all time good beer.

I think is a good choice to eat this kind of Vietnamese BBQ in Saigon. The beef is good, the deer nothing special and the small dishes are too small even for one person. Anyway we ate well.

One of the most popular places for Vietnamese BBQ in the heart of Saigon. Fresh and tasty, be you own Chef.

Lots of locals dine here. That says something. Bbq meats and seafood come with sides of veggies and some fruit after your meal, along with some chinese tea to wash it all down. Efficient staff, easy to figure DIY bbq setup. Two pairs of chopsticks each so that you dont contaminate your cooked food with raw food. We had venison, squid and wildboar, cider and sparkling water for 536k. A bit pricey by local standards, but worth the experience!

It's alive! We had the shrimp here, they came uncooked and still wriggling around. A bit cruel but at least one can be guaranteed of the freshness! Delicious food, and it's nice to dine outside.
