Everything about the store and the product is exceptional. As I walked in, Raffael took care of me. He showed me a lot of options, not only regarding their different cuts, but also the variety of fabrics and colors. Customer service is beyond impeccable and the jeans are by far the best one I own in decades. And, not to forget that all their clothes are ethically made in the USA.

I bought two pairs of jeans here in September- I was sick of having to replace my Madwell jeans every 9-12 months and was looking for something higher quality that would last longer, and was hoping that by spending 3x the price, that is what I would get. Definitely not the case- after less than 4 months of wear the black pair that I bought began pulling apart at the seams and white thread was showing though. I contacted customer service who then passed me on to someone else, and onto someone else, until my email was left unanswered. Super disappointed in the quality and the customer service. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Patrick was a gem. Although he's just a young man and I am, well, not so young, he was the epitome of reassurance and kindness as he took me through the offerings in the store: from the sales rack to the wall of denim to the more arcane custom options for the limited edition jeans. Overall, it was an excellent experience for someone who had hitherto only been able admire the craft that is 3x1 from afar and via their stockist in HK, albeit a limited range, and via their online website. I had planned to visit the other jeans stores in Soho. After working with Patrick, the point was moot really. :)

I have gotten a few really cute pairs of jeans made by this brand. Recently, I ordered a pair online and they are too long. It wouldn't be a terrible thing, but they do not offer free returns. I probably could have gotten the same jeans anywhere else and not had to spend $15 returning them, but now I am on the hook for this return. Really inconvenient. I wouldn't recommend buying these directly from the manufacturer, buy from a major retailer with a better return policy... I have spent $500+ and I can't even get a free return. Awful customer service.

I ordered online and was sent a pair of jeans without tags that were clearly a previous return to the warehouse. And then, the store refused to accept my return, which I paid for out of pocket, claiming the jeans had been "washed" despite the fact that they had never been worn. Customer service stalled me for weeks, and never acknowledged that they sent me a pair of worn jeans, instead claiming that I had violated their return policy. I have never received worse service, don't recommend to anyone, and will not be shopping here again.

I can't say enough about this place. I am 50-year-old man involved and exciting extreme activities that keep me in the public eye and on TV. I needed them to get me jeans that were not "skinny jeans" or "low rise" because I race cars and the lowrise jeans cut me in half below the waist. I was a difficult client and my bespoke one of one jeans needed to be re-cut and re-done. I saw one negative comment about the staff, I had the opposite experience. For me the staff was 100% concerned polite attentive and professional. My first pair of jeans were ungodly expensive. But worth it. Maybe they told me but I forgot, the second third fourth and fifth pair were very economical compared to the first. Once you cut one pair of bespoke jeans.. from then on ..you can even order over the phone with color texture ideas and they are actually almost the same price as high-end jeans in a department store. Later on, I asked about cruise wear; shorts for the islands; and once again the first one was expensive and the second third and fourth for very economical. They were able to match materials to keep the jeans "stretchy" for extreme driving experiences and sports. My "bespoke" sales person changed three times in the last two years. I thought this was a problem but it is not. Each time I'm given a different Bespoke sales person they are nicer (or just as cool) as the last. i've also sent jeans (this week) to be fixed and they magically get fixed no charge and overnighted right back to my office. One time, I asked them to fix the jeans because they had become tight. They assured me that it must've been the fabric shrinking and that I didn't gain 10 pounds. It is just that type of "niceness" that made me laugh and keep coming. These people also know exactly what's in style; from the buttons to the zippers to the cut to the fabric to the color they know stuff that keep me in style and comfort all weekend ... if you like the best this is the place .. 👍🏻

3x1 is essentially a bespoke jeans-maker with an amazing reputation. The huge store is aesthetically designed and boasts staff, who are knowledgable about their products and wonderfully willing to share that knowledge and information. If you find yourself having extra (extra) cash on hand, I recommend that you get a pair made-to-measure. Alternatively, you can also buy a couple of designs off-the-rack. However, I must add that having ready-to-wear pieces dilutes the fundamentals of the brand.

An alright shop. Staff is a little too high strung and uppity for their own good. Every interaction feels like pulling teeth with them. Their denim is also good, but in the $300+ range, you're better off going to Blue in Green or Northern Grade.
