Dinner. We had a lovely mushrooms soup (probably in my top 3), the chicken was nice and tender, staff were friendly and the place felt cosy. It's a bit more expensive but once you taste the food you'll understand why. We visited just after Christmas so it's wasn't busy and we didn't need to book in advance (there were two of us). Not sure how busy it gets during the summer so if you have a large group it might be worth checking if you need to book in advance. Breakfast. The restaurant is part of the hotel but If you're not staying on the hotel you can still pay and enjoy the buffet, lots to choose from, endless coffee :-) The breakfast we had here was better then some of the other places in town and was roughly the same price.

What a superb restaurant this is housed within the confines of Hotel 1231. It's a hidden gem. The service is exemplary and the food and wine that followed did not disappoint. The restaurant is underneath the hotel but still feels very bright and airy. The starter was superb, Thai style prawns, which I followed with a Brazilian steak. My wife also had the prawns as a starter but ordered the Goose leg for her main, which she said was delicious and moist. Everything had been cooked perfectly and they clearly have a very skilled chef in the kitchen. First class. It's not cheap, but quality comes at a price. We found ourselves back in Torun for the Xmas markets and just had to revisit this great restaurant. The result was yet another fantastic meal, this time it was a Duck breast dish followed by Plum tart. Yum. A really enjoyable evening.

Lucky for us we came at an off peak hour because I can see this place filling up fast. The food was delicious. The lamb chops in particular were ambrosial. Wine choices pretty decent. Our waitress had a good sense of humor and attention to detail. Love the old brick all around and classy interior. When in Toruń I would have to say this is a must.

The food was excellent! I can highly recommend beef tartare, it was chopped and not minced, from real tenderloin, the ingredients were just the right amount and balanced and the flavor was phenomenal! The place has amazing vibe and is well situated in the old towns city walls! The staff was friendly and smiling and super helpful, highly recommended and would come back again!

Personally I feel like the dishes that we ordered are not as tasty as described by others here. Got the pink duck which doesn’t taste good. The goose leg is soft but doesn’t match with the puree.

One of the best culinary surprises I had recently. The menu is limited and yet so rich. The food was prepared with great care, lots of attention on the fresh ingredients with the chefs collecting herbs from their own produce. You could taste the freshness, a real feast for the senses. The service was impeccable, friendly, immediate and professional. Last but not least the location is fantastic. Located by the old Teutonic knights castles, gives a sense of awe but at the same time very romantic. Highly recommended!

Always looking for new spots and found this on the outskirts of Old town. Usually upscale spots don't give the vibe im looking for but this place was surprisingly good. Food was outstanding. Didn't leave hungry. I know the portions are usually smaller so I'll order 3 or 4 dishes lol. Beer and 🍷 hit the spot. Decor was tasteful. I had no complaints 👌🏾I had the Sturgeon and Clams with a few appetizers.

This place has really good reviews, but I don’t know why. The atmosphere and sphere is very casual and laid back. We had the shrimp entree and some wine. The prices are quite high for the offering. The wine was okay and the shrimp were 5 shrimp with some toast for 59zl. I don’t think I would return to try anything else.
