406 Saloon Family Roadhouse

Unexpected stop here in this little town. We loved the atmosphere here. Food was better than expected for a road side stop. Our waitress recommended the Philly sandwich, I got it and was surprisingly satisfied. Great atmosphere and some of the locals that were dining had great insights, and recommendations for nearby activities. Everyone was so nice to travelers.

As we walked into the door we were met with a friendy hello from Jeannette our bartender. This place has history and recently was in the middle of activity related to the "Yellowstone" TV series filming. Although no film action occurred at this establishment some of the cast were seen at this bar. It was fun to hear first hand stories of various cast sightings around town. Also, this bar has it own history that is posted all over the place inside, a fun stop for sure!

We stop by in our way to Yellowstone Ranch chief Joseph’s and this restaurant in derby has great food in a very western ambience!! The service was good thank you all

We ate there two tims when we were in Darby. Great meals both times. 1st trip was the pulled pork sandwich and a dozen wings. Both were really good. Wings cooked perfectly. They need more sauce choices for the wings - they only have buffalo, mango habanero & BBQ. I got half buffalo & half mango habanero. I wish the had just a habanero sauce. 2nd night was a thai peanut salad with chicken & fish and chips. Really skimpy on the chicken for an additional $6. Fish snd chips were so so, wouldnt order again.

It wasn't bad. However, the drink prices are insane. We paid $17 for a double shot of Titos.. That is highway robbery. A bottle is $27 bucks. I understand making your money running a bar myself. That's just a little to much.. cool pics though.

Such a great family-friendly spot! We stopped in for burgers and tater tots, and everything was delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a large fireplace crackling in the background that made it feel extra cozy. The kids loved having a variety of options on their menu and had so much fun playing with the board games and toys while we waited for our food. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home — great food, great service, and a great experience for the whole family!

Nice place, good food,but nothing special.meat was overcooked.Server didn't ask ,how I like it, ...had many excuses dead 🥬 as bonus . I f you have another option for eat, don't hesitate

I've driven through Darby so many times for other destinations. I finally had time to try something local and was 100% pleased! I only took two not great pics of my mostly finished food (bc it was so good) and the huge fireplace. Love the open ceilings (hence the additional heat lamps inside). The burger was PERFECT for me - I could actually bite it without having to break it apart because it wasn't piled too high... it was perfect. The fries were also perfect, CRISPY and TASTEY!
