Overall, this was an average experience.
The restaurant was fairly quiet with only a handful of tables, but the service still felt underwhelming. After our food arrived, no one checked back in to see how everything was (or little things like refilling our water).
The food was inconsistent. The scallops, in particular, were unbalanced: a large piece of chili completely overwhelmed the caviar and the scallop’s delicate flavor, and the scallop itself was slightly overcooked by a minute or two, leaving it chewy. We ordered five dishes total and only truly enjoyed one. The others tended to feel either overwhelming, not well balanced, or lacking acidity, which made them taste a bit one-note. The mushroom cacio e pepe was especially difficult to eat: it had no acidity to cut through, and it felt like a pile of cream and cheese rather than a balanced dish.
We did enjoy the first few bites of the deconstructed Big Mac. The chips were well seasoned and the steak tartar was nice, but the "special sauce" lacked nuance and was hard to taste beyond the richness and spice.
The standout was the burrata with peaches, which was excellent. The restaurant was interesting to try, and the elevated comfort food angle is a fun idea, but given the service and overall execution, it felt overpriced.
