43 Station Hotel - MILANO

Location is great, if you travel a lot or move around the city, 3 min walk from Milano Centrale. The room was decent size, breakfast basic, but ok. The sanitary standards were appaling, with mould in the shower corners. Just by looking at the bathroom sink you knew someone was shaving there this morning, both the hair and the remainings of the cosmetics were still there. Looks like they believe you will spend 1 night and 1 night only there, so you will not have enough time to complain and they will never see you again.

This rate I would make zero than just 1 star it’s because of all the reason is one guy who works for breakfast downstairs. He was completely turned to different person from first time we say good morning or hi. He was nice and friendly then whatever he saw something that he didn’t like that guests did something to for example a bread oven to try to bake it, then he turned to this person on purpose was so mean and disrespect. He said “ What are you doing? You can’t do like that, you need a right bread” Their was no bread or toast even no other dishes was not good prepared for breakfast. It was after 8:00 am in the morning. I still don’t know why he was so aggressive to us it’s because of different bread we took or he was just hated us how we look. I wish I could record a video. The room and people who was working in the reception was very nice and kind. Just this guy who was working in the restaurant for breakfast was completely overreacted and way too disrespect to us.He would destroyed all the image of this hotel easily. Maybe he did it just for us and he just hated us. It’s okay to stay this hotel but without breakfast and pay less. Because the room is ok, but not this breakfast guy who works there. I would not spend my money to this breakfast issue.

We stayed here for one night from Wednesday 17 to Thursday 18 September 2025, en route to Corfu, Greece. I think it was room 525. POSITIVE: Great location, close to Milano Centrale. Rooms were ok but could use some maintenance (our AC control was broken, so I had to call the reception at night to stop it because it was freezing cold in the room). NEGATIVE: The receptionist who did our check-in was obviously very ill. He was coughing, sneezing, distributing his germs all over the place. The reception area was packed with people who were all exposed to this for multiple minutes. Trying to avoid an infection, me and our seven month old son waited outside until my wife completed the check-in (which took ages for some reason). After that experience, we did our best to disinfect our travel documents and anything that came in contact with the sick person. Sadly, our effort was unsuccessful. Three days later (on Saturday night), our baby developed high fever, with swollen eyes, and was diagnosed with COVID by a pediatrician at our holiday destination on the following day (Sunday). I too fell sick two days after that (Tuesday). Our well deserved holiday was severely impacted to say the least. Our son has since recovered, so did I, but my COVID test is still showing a positive result (today is 30 September 2025), forcing me to reschedule appointments, etc. The medical assistance required for our baby cost us 700 EUR in total. All this was totally unnecessary and completely avoidable! I find it VERY RUDE and SHAMEFUL for this employee to have shown up for work being obviously very ill, with swollen eyes, coughing, sneezing, fluids literally running out of his face, when his job literally meant him spending all day in direct close contact with guests who were looking forward to a nice holiday - and NOT TO GETTING SICK because of him! What was in his mind?! It should not be that hard to call in sick and have somebody else take your shift, no?! Please revisit your code of conduct, dear 43 Station Hotel. We will avoid you in the future.

Hotel is pretty new and clean. Location is very convenient and near the train station. Hotel provide luggage storage and is very good as you do not have to carry the luggage with you when you go for short trip with Italy. Will recommend and choose to thos hotel again.

My reserved room had a problem with the door lock and despite being overbooked and it being late at night, the reception managed to get me an upgrade to an appartment with proper door locks. The attention to client requirements is unmatchable! Great stay and wonderful experience. Would highly recommend due to close proximity of subway and train stations and good choice of restaurants in walking distance.

I am writing this review on behalf of my aunt, who stayed at 43 Station Hotel and accidentally left behind one earring. We contacted the hotel just two days after our stay, while we were already in Venice, and the hotel immediately confirmed that the earring had been found. At that point, we were relieved and grateful. Unfortunately, retrieving the item turned into a months-long issue. I handled the communication and attempted to arrange a courier pickup from abroad. Over the following weeks, there were repeated back-and-forth emails, many of which went unanswered. Clear instructions or alternative solutions were rarely provided, making an already complicated international shipment extremely difficult. After weeks without resolution, we arranged for a friend to personally visit the hotel in Milan to collect the earring from the concierge. When she arrived, the staff on duty had no knowledge of the earring at all, and there appeared to be no internal handover or record. She was also told that the staff member who had previously been corresponding with us was no longer working there. Despite the earring being confirmed as found shortly after the stay, it could no longer be located. This situation has now dragged on for months, not because the item wasn’t found, but due to poor communication, lack of coordination, and lack of follow-through. It has been an extremely frustrating experience and very disappointing given how promptly the item was initially identified. I hope this review encourages the hotel to improve its handling of lost property and internal communication, so future guests do not go through the same experience.

Sadly the worst stay of our trip so far and a pity for such a beautiful city.The location is fairly good being close to the station, however it feels unsafe.Multiple amenities were missing and/or broken - bedside lamp, handheld shower, heating and sink. It feels like the hotel is falling apart.When we asked the front desk about the heater, she replied saying it's not available (hello it's -3 degrees outside). When asked about a spare blanket, she also replied with a no. Only after I said I'd complain, she definitely found a blanket for us.In summary, we would not stay here again and would recommend against anyone to do so.

Honestly, we were very disappointed with this hotel. I have no idea how it has a rating of 8.0 — it absolutely does not reflect the reality. The room itself was old and worn-out, but the real issue was the bathroom. There was mold everywhere — on the walls, in the corners, and even inside the showerhead. It felt completely unhygienic and neglected. The toilet seat had a crack in it, which made using it uncomfortable and even painful. This kind of basic maintenance issue should never exist in a hotel claiming to be 3 stars. Another major problem was the air conditioning system. The in-room temperature control was broken, so we couldn’t adjust the air conditioning ourselves. It was very inconvenient, because every time we wanted to change the temperature, we had to go down to the reception and ask them to do it manually — even late at night. The breakfast was very poor: only omelets, one type of sausage, two kinds of cold cuts, and some cheese. Very basic, repetitive For the price we paid, the overall experience was far below expectations. The place clearly needs serious renovation. The only positives were: – Two pillows per person, which was a nice touch – 24-hour front desk service – Convenient location near the train station But unfortunately, those few positives don’t make up for the many downsides. We would not stay here again and do not recommend it.

Do not book with this hotel in spite of its location to the train station. I booked a one-night stay for Sept 18-19 back in February. I even re-confirmed with them in August. Today, less than 10 days before our trip I received a cancellation notice along with a second email that a refund is being processed. No explanation and no apologies. Emails and phone calls were met with no response. Checked availability for my same dates and it is sold out. My guess is they sold my room for a higher price as it will be Milan Fashion Week. Absolutely shameful!

We stayed here for a night in May 2022, and it's a very modern hotel compared to others in the area. Glass touch screens, personalized TV remote, and it's immediately next to the train station. Just keep in mind to ask the front desk to turn on the air conditioning for the room, we were pretty confused

43 Station Hotel was our first and last night during our 12 day trip to Italy and it turned out to be an excellent choice. Conveniently located close to the Central Rail Station the hotel has undergone significant renovation and has become a clean very nice place to stay. Rooms are good size, not huge but plenty big and has a modern look. Bathroom is also good size, also renovated with new fixtures. Beds were comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast room is large, a lot of tables available and the breakfast buffet was very good. Besides eggs and bacon there is an assortment of breads, sweets (pastries), various yogurts, meats cheeses etc. Also plenty of coffee from a modern cappuccino machine. The staff at the front desk were helpful and check in and out was fast and easy. 43 Station Hotel is a good choice for a clean modern hotel in Milan.

Great place to stay. Clean, modern and newly updated. Our room was relatively large with big windows, comfy beds and a large contemporary bathroom. Breakfast was great; good and plentiful food - only complaint was watery coffee from a machine. Friendly staff, and you can check in as early as 14:00. If you have to check out early they will store bags for you for free. For the money this place is terrific and the location is primo: two minute walk to the train station and cab stand (taxi to Duomo ~ €10) or Sondrio subway stop is 5 min walk with direct train to Duomo.

Excellent experience with 43 Station Hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the room was spotless clean and well stocked with everything needed. Very close to the Milano Centrale train station and several good ristorantes and grocery shops close by. I will definitely be staying again.

Amazing new hotel. Great service and amenities. We loved the modern elements and clean and beautiful features to the rooms and building. Staff was very accommodating.
