Can't begin to say what is wrong with this place. Yes beautifully decorated but bad vibes. I guess started with the poor communication skills of the proprietor, actually unpleasant. And not clean and feels haunted. Poor sleep due to noise. There are much better places

I was here many years ago and it was very nice then but this time round it’s really old and not well kept. I won’t say dirty maybe just not so clean and definitely sad looking. It has definitely passed its time. And it’s not cheap. Hope they can go back to the previous state

While the place is just a stones throw from the busy Jonker Street, as soon as you step in to the house you'll feel like a completely different zone. Relaxing ambience, tasteful decor (good cd selection too!) we felt like we are in a really peaceful||retreat, constantly dipping in the pool day and night. breakfast at the cafe 18 was great too! nothing unpleasant to say about this place except for the unstable wifi connection. will come back again definately. thank you sharen for the lovely hospitality!

The person I presumed is the owner was rude and there were cockroaches. Yes the place is pretty but it is not well kept I must say. I am not sure what is the attitude with the owner. Ruined my holiday I shifted out after one night. There is also a peculiar smell

My friends & I stayed at Lekiu 45 on 21/10/16 and we left this beautiful abode with fond memories and much reluctance.||The interior of this place left us spellbound. Its beauty, ambience and cosiness. It's just like home to us, so relaxing with its own lap pool and so well equipped. ||The beds and furnitures are so comfortable.||We would like to congratulate the management and a Big Thank You to Sharen, the manager, for her efforts in making our stay more memorable. Keep up the good work.

A group of 4 of us travelled here from Singapore for the weekend. The house is truly beautiful and wonderfully decadent, I can't praise it more highly. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the top room is a twin and the lower a double. The amount of thought that has gone into design is clear. The house was cleaned daily with a change of sheets. It also has a great location just around the corner from the main street market area.||||There is a little cafe opposite which is part of the same business and the lady who hosts manages it, so they are easily on hand. We were also shown the rooms above the cafe which were also a few steps beyond incredible.||||The only slight irritation is proximity to the local mosque, as a result the call to prayer is extremely loud and feels like it's right in your room. Part me enjoys it, but there is no denying the volume!||||All in all this I can't praise it more highly and look forward to returning!

We stayed 22/2/2015 for a nite to celebrate my birthday. The decorations are extremely beautiful. The pool view very beautiful at nite. The owner Sharen is very friendly. My children love this place so much. It's worth to stay here although the price is very high.

i adore a good conservation project, and 45 Lekiu is one i have been yearning to see for the longest time. Thanks to the Mr for one of the best surprise ever, we finally came to check out this beautiful space.||||Opening the door never felt so exciting. And as i push it open, my breath was taken right away. i was so wowwwwww-ed that i don't know where to look. ||||With the new built into this pre-war building and a collection of eclectic furniture that is curated for the whole design intent, 45 Lekiu has been made so unbelievably livable. ||||For the first time, i am all willing and all ready to miss Melaka and just lost myself in this private cocoon.||||Level one. Got to love how they remake the traditional door that is larger than usual, to separate the pantry and the living halls. The opium bed was a crowd pleaser, everyone of us wants to get on it. The large panes of glass enclosed us in with the air con very lightly as we watch the pool. And yes, the pool was beyond words. The perfect addition to the air well of the house. Getting all that natural light is all that pool needs, it just naturally becomes a great centrepiece when the water catches the light.||||Level two. The very lush intimate space. Engulf yourself in the lush king size bed. Dim and romantically lit, i love the mood of this space. Step out to the terrace and have a soak in the bathtub. Another flight of steps take you to the rooftop where you have a good view of the textured skyline made up of the roofs of different houses.||||Level three. A playful attic space. Space is still so generous ven though they have two single beds here. ||||They restored the original wooden stairs, and with every step that you take, creaking wood has never sound so right.||||The sophistication of this space is just beyond words, you need to be here and live it.
