Was so excited to try this place, and finally did tonight and was so disappointed. We ordered to go..I got the crispy chicken wrap which was fine. Nothing extraordinary, but was good. I ordered onion rings with it which came in one giant chunk. SO DISAPPOINTING! not only were they inedible but I paid for them! By the time I got them apart, they were a goopy mess. I get it if they accidentally turned out that way, but don't actually serve them! I'm trying to be fair with the 3 stars but won't be eating here again. If you're there to drink and happen to get hungry then the food is just fine, but not a place to make a special trip to for just food.

Great food. Some of the best fries ive had in awhile came from here. Will definitely try the place again

There are a lot of things to love about Michigan but a fantastic dive bar is one of my favs. Who can beat $2.50 Coors Light on a Saturday evening with AMAZING bar food? Try the onion rings, you won't regret it. 🤤😉

Overall, great experience. Waitress brought crayons and a coloring book for our kiddos, along with stuffed animals (to keep). There was a mixup with the order, but they fixed that right away and even offered to let us keep the entree that we didn't order. Great burgers. Small cozy little bar. Drive by everyday and it always seems to be packed! They must be doing something right!

Great food! We ate our food at home and that was an hour from the bar! It was absolutely amazing cold! Can’t imagine how amazing it would have been hot! Hands down 10/10. Bartenders were amazing and food was amazing! Make sure you get the rodeo burger and the pig Mac n cheese!! You will not regret it!

46 Bar is one of those spots that just gets it right. The food is awesome, the staff are friendly, and the vibe is laid-back but still has great energy. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they make because everything comes out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. The 46 Hot & Spicy Bang Shrimp were the perfect way to start. Crispy, sweet, and spicy in all the right ways. The Beer Battered Mushrooms were another win — crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and that ranch dressing they serve with it is next-level good. For mains, the Big Bry Burger stole the show. Juicy patty, applewood bacon, provolone, and their house-made Thousand Island sauce all on a soft brioche bun. The Mel Burger had the perfect kick with jalapeños and peppers mixed with bacon and melted cheese. The Stuffed Burger is a must if you like a little heat filled with jalapeño cream cheese and topped with bacon and mayo. Finally, the Chicken Tender Basket was simple comfort food done right. Crispy tenders, golden fries, and plenty of sauce options. Portions are generous, prices are fair, and everything tasted fresh. If you are anywhere near the area, this place is absolutely worth the stop. Great food, great people, and a guaranteed good time.

I will never order takeout food from 46 bar again. They can be added to the long line of Muskegon restaurants that are unable to complete an order, the way you ordered it the first time. They cooked 2/3 of my order, tried to give it to me, then I had to wait as my food got cold while they cooked what they forgot. Better off just hitting the drive-through at McDonald’s

I came in with friends on Friday, January 30th. I’ve been in a million times before but this time I’m ashamed to admit and say I had to wait 30 minutes to even be asked if I wanted a drink. It seems all of your bartenders are too busy trying to distract cooks than to do their jobs and seem to be blatantly oblivious to at least half of the tables they walk by. Very sad experience at what used to be a fun hangout. The food was still great, I mean when it finally left the window

I absolutely used to love this place for their stuffed burger and jalapeño popper dip. I'm not sure if they have a new cook that clearly doesn't care about the food being put out or what. Sadly this isn't the first nor the second time I've gotten a raw burger but it'll definitely be the last. This was a called in "to go" order, and regardless of being take out it's unacceptable , I won't be spending money here anymore.

Great Bar, Great Employees, Great Food, Biker Friendly. Place to relax enjoy a drink, have good food, ride your bike, this is it place to go!!!!!!

Amazing burgers, such a fun laid back place for a dinner & drinks. Service is always good, never have to wait too long.

While passing through Muskegon we decided to grab some supper. This was virtually across the street and the pictures of the food on the Internet looked appetizing. This is was a Friday night, so they were exceptionally busy, but we found a table easy enough. We did need to go get a waitress to let them know we were there, and they were as attentive as you could expect, figuring on the ratio of customers to staff. The "build your own burger" was simply a slip of paper you checked off yourself to eliminate any errors. It works! There was no option for "rare" so I just wrote that in, and checked the box for a soft egg. Of course I added a slathering of other toppings, but the beef and egg are the two main ingredients. This burger came out so perfect! Very rare, but not cold, egg yolk running down the face once I squeezed to eat it - it was wonderful! I WILL return, but now my expectations are so high, I hope I'm not disappointed.

This bar has excellent food, drinks, service, and cleanliness!! We drive out of our way to go there!! It's a smaller bar. very friendly people. Not expensive at all . I'd give them a 10 star if I could!

I've been coming to the 46 for 15+ years. They've always had good food, good drinks, what more could ya ask for?

Great place to quench your barley thirst! Practice all COVID requirements but everyone still has a great time. Food is excellent as I had the perch dinner and the owner even gave me 2nds!

Awesome food, with good service. Nice patio, they also have a pretty good burger special on Thursday Nights, $3.50 to build your own burger!
