Easy check-in. Building is clean, room is good size and the bed is comfortable. Pretty quiet too. The downstairs gym is pretty big. I liked the water fountains with sparkling water. The room amenities are limited: no shampoo/conditioner/lotion, just a very basic body wash. The kitchen is well equipped and allowed to cook meals on the electric stove and reheat in the microwave. Overall it's an ok place to stay for a few days, but for that price I would have expected hotel standard amenities

Check-in was smooth, we arrived slightly early and it was a great help that the room was already ready as it was raining heavily! The instructions were clear and the staff very helpful so we had everything we needed even before we arrived.

This was my second time staying at "46a | apart'hôtel". I really enjoyed it there. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need: a tea kettle, a Nespresso machine, cutlery, utensils, pans and pots. There is a fridge and a stove so cooking is easy (beleive me it is much cheaper to cook yourself than to go to the restaurant in Lausanne). The hotel has their own gym and sauna, which is (together with the closeness to the lake) yet another advantage. With all the above being said, I definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Lausanne.

The hotel is ideally located to explore Lake Geneva, just 15mins by bus and metro to Lausanne city center.

Checkin experience was patchy as I wasn't informed that it would be an unmanned checkin. As a result, I didn't have the code to get the keycard to enter the hotel. Calling the helpline didn't help and so had to wait for over an hour till my office finally managed to get in touch with the hotel 24 hour helpline.

Position position! We were a few hundred metres from Lausanne beach, the lake and restaurants plus public transport and groceries! Excellent!

The hotel is positioned in the affordable segment and it delivers on its promise. Staff has been incredibly friendly. Self-checkin during outside hours. Well equipped kitchenette with regular Nespresso machines (pic may show pro version). Self-laundry available in neighbouring building. Rooms could be noisy but I was lucky enough to have a room in top floor and to quiet rear side, which was good location. The restaurant got closed, which did not affect me. Short walking distance to the lake and walkable to Ouchy passing by IMD. A bit of a walk into oldtown but also public transport will do their job. Thank you hotel 46a for 3 weeks of hospitality.
