49th Parallel Cafe and Lucky Donuts is a local chain that sells coffee and donuts. There are both indoor and outdoor seating and their cup ware is very iconic with the turquoise colour. When we visited in May, Lucky’s Donuts had the spring menu which had many fruit flavoured donuts on offer. We tried the strawberry old fashioned and the chocolate strawberry. Donuts were really just average for the price. Seating outside was nice as it’s a partially covered patio but there was excess water on the ground which wasn’t very pleasant. Music playing through speakers both inside and outside the store, so may be difficult to hold video calls or do intensive work.

Popped into have a coffee and doughnut. Staff were nice and they have a great covered patio. The doughnuts are pretty good. It’s nice they have a changing table in one bathroom but they could really use an upgrade as it’s not great. I also had to wait ages to use it as there were others using this accessible bathroom.

Had both indoor and outdoor seating here and it was not too crowded during our visit. It has a hip ambiance with young crews here. Didn’t eat the donuts here cos they looked sweet and were full from lunch. Had Mocha, flat white, and cappuccino here instead and we enjoyed our sip and the hip vibes here.

Google
Laptop friendly coffee shop with a focus on donuts. Delicious coffee and food. There’s indoor seating as well as an outdoor solarium with tables. It can get a little loud but also a great way to spend an afternoon working + enjoy a sweet treat.

TL;DR - if you live near by or could order online and avoid in person contacts around Sunday noon when they are busy, better skipping the line and saving your energy for other things with higher priority. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I came here with the knowledge I could have access from online (yelp and google reviews mainly) since I intended to do some school work and had some chat with my teammate. He arrived about 20 minutes before me (10:10 ish a.m. on a lovely Sunday) while I was still on the bus experiencing the traffic. The moment I opened their main door and saw a long line ahead of me, I knew that I might cause any trouble. As a first time visitor of this local cafe at BC, I wanted to try their seasonal beans instead of the classic ones since I just spotted their beans at save on foods yesterday doing grocery shooping (the last picture if you would like to check them out). However, I was also not in the mood to go for any hot espresso shot cuz I did not need that much caffeine early in the morning, after I just hit the gym with some functioanl strength traning. I probably spent around 10 minutes with the staff who helped me taking order and when I finally decided I wanted to have a taste of the decaf espresso which was exactly written on their menu, they grabbed a whole bag of beans for me... I ended up getting their iced latte which was brewed using the exact same beans as my teammate with a sandwich that is French baguette based. Remembering the long line I mentioned before? yup I also apologized for all the ppl behind me. My time was not precious at that moment but someone could be short at time budget. According to yelp, this should be a laptop friendly cafe in van...... except that my teammate's laptop could only have one hour battery life and there is no power outlet or sth similar neither inside nor outside. And the thing is, I thought I already did my research and homework before I was here. Still not enough (sigh) Oh and for someone who read until this line, their new sandwich is cold and it does not taste bad with around 10 hr outside travel time. Might be safe to conclude that they control food security strictly ;) have a wonderful day

Google
It has the community's favorite and most frequented cafe, producing a stable aroma. Favorite lattes and flat whites, Drip coffee beans or Espresso beans are basically bought here, love it!

Google
Really calm and chique atmosphere. Lots of gluten friendly and vegan options. Parking was a bit difficult to find but if you’re looking for a gf/ vegan treat it is worth the stop! Prices were fair, mark up on the specialty foods was only .25¢ which is better than most places, a single gluten free doughnut was 5.25!

Google
Love the aesthetic of this place. The coffee and the donuts were both great, there's not much more to say than that! It's definitely worth a stop here, really nice coffee shop to sit and take a break at.

Yelp
Fancy hipster coffee and donut place on 4th Avenue. Basically a satellite location of their original Main location. Parking is pretty awful around here. It's a popular part of town after all. There are metered spots in front, and some spots on the side streets if one is lucky. The venue itself is hipser vintage, with the old looking wood trim. There is a nice bright W facing patio, which is nice as long as it isn't too sunny. Staff are friendly and enthusiastic. Special mention. Donuts (from Lucky's) are definitely pricy, but they are pretty freaking good. Worth treating oneself. Coffees are solid too. Honestly it's worth the few extra bucks. Worth checking out if one is in the area, as long as one doesn't mind the lineup that often goes out the door. Recommended.

Yelp
There vegan donuts are sooo good. 5 bucks per donut is a bit expensive but id buy these donuts any day

Yelp
Having escaped a local breakfast eatery as we were sandwiched between two large party tables, who apparently consumed microphones before heading for breakfast...we came upon this gem of a place. Have you ever experienced a coffee shop more like a momentary sanctuary? The atmosphere was airy, light, peaceful, chill and the aroma of great coffee and freshly baked pastries all throughout. You have to try their Mushroom Miso Danish....trust me you'll get it again. Their coconut and pistachio croissant was just as good if you're into donuts. I also enjoyed their coffee. It's something in between JJ Bean and Starbucks...that was my experience anyhow. But, what I think I enjoyed more and equally as much as their menu was just the chill, relaxing and calming vibe and energy. That's exactly what I need and want first thing in the morning..... Loved you guys, thank you!

Yelp
It's a must stop for me every time I'm in Vancouver. The highest quality, coffee, really good donuts, and the vibe is perfect. It just is one of those things that makes me feel like I really went there :-)

Yelp
I was so impressed! I knew that the coffee would be great as I had the coffee in Toronto before but it was fun to get to have it in Vancouver where it's actually rusted. While I was in line looking to get a coffee I noticed Luckys donuts were also here. I had never had them before but just looking at all the different options and flavours had me realizing I was going to need at least one donut today. The latte was perfect and very rich in flavor. The gal behind the counter who helped me get my order in was lovely, friendly and efficient. The donut was a huge highlight. Mango and passionfruit curd?! Wow! I highly suggest looking for this one if you like those flavors. The donut was also soft and chewy just as you wanted to be in the curd had the perfect amount of zing to it. You need to stop here if you're in the area! Pro tip prepare yourself for walking uphill if you park anywhere near the water. It's a good incline. It will help you work off the donut

Yelp
Cherry Old Fashioned I'm not a huge fan of cherry flavoured things because I don't like artificial cherry flavouring. So I was pleasantly surprised that it was not the case here. The old fashioned doughnut was crispy on the outside and there was just enough cherry glaze for it to be a treat without being too sweet. It wouldn't be an order I'd reach for first but I wouldn't mind having it again. Mountain Highway This was easily one of my favourite doughnuts of the bunch. Despite the sweet looking exterior, this doughnut was not overly sweet. I loved how the coffee cream on the inside helped add bitterness to the sweet chocolate ganache that blanketed the doughnut. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I'd definitely order it again and the textural crunch of the nuts just made it all the more delicious. French Cruller A simple fresh cruller that tasted as though you were biting into a pastry dipped in honey. Sweet, simple, delicious. Sprinkled Sprinkled doughnuts always bring a smile to my face and this one did just that. The sprinkles added a pop of colour to the already delicious doughnut. What I noticed about the doughnuts here was that the dough was SO CHEWY! I loved how fluffy and chewy each yeast based doughnut was and it made me want another as soon as I was done. Lemon Meringue Bismarck This was a looker! The meringue on top was just lightly toasted and added creamy texture on top of the already velvety smooth lemon filling. I loved how the tartness of the lemon contrasted against the sweetness of the meringue. I've never been a fan of filled doughnuts because I find them to be too sweet, but I've been converted! Carrot Cake Bismarck Who says you can't have carrot cake all year around? In all honesty, this was my attempt at getting a "healthier" looking doughnut but it was just as decadent as the others. Inside the fluffy carrot based dough you will find a generous helping of cream cheese filling. While it did get a little sweet towards the half way point, I wouldn't mind having it again because it was just so delish!

Yelp
The cashier charged me extra several times. For 4 doughnuts(4.75 each) I paid almost 30 cad with tips. I dont want to argue with them so I just leave without complaining. Please train your employees better.

Yelp
Whenever we have the chance, we pass the chance to get their iced oat milk mocha with their deliciously sinful donuts!! I'm in love with them!!! We always get the same ones!! It's my cheat meal!! The most delicious donuts for me and I'm not usually the sweets kinda girl! ;)

Yelp
49th Parallel is home to Lucky's Doughnuts, my favourite doughnut shop in Metro Vancouver! They have a rotating list of flavours and are always creating new ones, and I have loved every single flavour I've tried so far. In general though, I would say the bismarcks are the best. Recently, I tried their new mocha bismarck. The yeast dough made for a plump, pillowy doughnut, which was stuffed with a silky smooth coffee pastry cream and topped with a chocolate ganache and some cookie crumbs. I thought it was superb! Usually, I go here just for the doughnuts (with the exception being during the Hot Chocolate Festival), but the last time I went I decided to get an iced chai as well. The cup was HUGE! Unfortunately, there wasn't much flavour in the drink. It reminded me of the iced chais I made at home, back in March when Vancouver was in lockdown mode, which was sad. So, in summary...doughnuts: very, very good; iced chai: meh

Yelp
I'm tired of how downhill this place has been. When I've been visiting this place since 2012 and loved the good coffee and donuts. Lately, the donut quality and selection has been mediocre and what I find really annoying is how consistently my coffee is being under poured. Even if I ask for no room, I am still only getting a 3/4 full cup which is a lot because the cups are tapered. I decided to measure today. I ordered a medium and even specified 12 ounces and when I poured my contents into a measuring cup, I only got 9 ounces. That is pretty drastic and if it was just this time I would let it slide, but it is all the time, now. I don't know if this is an order from management because of shrinkflation, but I'm not coming back.

Yelp
This is a short review as we were really looking forward to having breakfast coffee here and we walked out. We saw 49th parallel coffee but this was actually luckys donut shop. Pros- large outdoor eating area with a lot of parking close by. Overall everything looked good UNTIL we realized that they only serve donuts or gluten free bread. Even Tim Hortons has a few non donut options. While the donuts looked interesting, my partner said there was nothing he wanted to order and we left. So don't be fooled by the coffee sign, this is full on donut love.
google avatar

Yelp
The Venezuelan iced latte and donuts was to dieeee for. We got a chocolate sprinkled old fashioned donut and PB & Jam donut. We were just coming for coffee and saw they had Luckys donuts too and wow. We loved the coffee here and would highly recommend both their coffee and

Yelp
Friendly staff and clean coffee shop with lots of tables inside and outside. Mostly busy but the wait isn't too bad. Yummy donuts and good coffee. They have other locations too and it's my first time at this location. Very different vibe than the one downtown but it's more chill here.

Yelp
A solid coffee shop with donuts on West 4th. I love their iced lattes and all their baked goods. I enjoyed the Lemon Bismarck - it was super tasty and was not too sweet. The lemon filling was oozing, so be sure to grab extra napkins! They have ample patio space - their indoor dining was closed due to covid the last time I went. The washrooms were also closed! Not sure if they're open yet.
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
Now, I'm not a coffee person, so this review is not about their coffee. I tried their oat chai latte previously and I was quite disappointed. All I could taste was warm oat milk. This time I tried the pistachio croissant. It wasn't as flakey as I would have liked and the pistachio filling was only in 1/4 of it. There was plenty in the quarter, however, if it were spread out more, it would be enough for half the croissant but not the whole. I do enjoy the ambiance of the cafe. That said, there are limited outlets (I only saw 1) and free wifi! A heated outdoor patio area which is great since it gets quite busy. I've tried lucky's donuts at 49th and they never disappoint! Would go back to get donuts and to study, but likely not the chai or the croissant.

Yelp
I am always on the lookout for a high quality cup of coffee. I gathered from the long line this place would be good. Ordered a flat white and it did not disappoint- a very bold smooth coffee taste offset by the frothy milk. Not only did it taste good but the design on top made me not want to ruin it. Also ordered a holiday doughnut that satiated my sweet tooth. A beautiful white inside and plants for decor made me want to hang out here longer. A great spot indeed!

Yelp
49th Parallel is a hip coffee spot that shares space with Lucky's Doughnuts. You can order both items at the register. Good amount of seating outside and inside. Street parking, metered. Very busy before noon, even on a Friday. Line moved decently. Coffee came out fast. Coffee, 12 oz - $2.35 Cold Brew - $4.50

Yelp
Loved this coffee shop! I visited here closer to the end of our visit to Vancouver and boy were we impressed. I stumbled here by accident while killing some time and seeking shelter from the rain. I ordered an iced latte along with their lemon meringue donut. The latte was delicious and was a nice balance between the coffee beans at the creaminess of the milk. I liked how it wasn't too sweet. The donut was fluffy, lemon-ie and delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this donut. My partner and I were raving about it a few days later. I can confidently say this is one of the best places for donuts in Vancouver. We loved it soo much we bought another dozen to take with us on our flight back to Toronto. While it was not as soft when we brought the items home, it was still soo delicious. We got the a cheesecake one, a pistachio croissant, and a sprinkle one. A lot of the options were sold out by the time we stopped by the cafe so arrive early or order online ahead if there's a specific one you want.
google avatar

Renee R.

Yelp
The coffee here is really good. It's a typical kits hipster coffee shop. All your little millennials hang out here. But I get why it's fun colorful and the staff is young and hip plus the coffee is really good. They sell a shit ton of donuts so beware!!

Yelp
I've been meaning try these doughnuts for about 2 years ago and FINALLY got to it. I got a gingerbread old fashioned and a holiday spice latte. The old fashioned was amazing, with a thick crispy exterior and moist cakey inside, plus a generous gingerbread glaze with a strong molasses flavour. The glaze was a little messy but not drippy at all, and it was so good I didn't mind. The holiday spice latte was also delicious - way more flavourful than similar gingerbread lattes I've tried. I was very excited to try it with their hazelnut milk - the resulting drink was very creamy but I'd still be interested to try it in a plain latte or other simple drink to get a better taste of it on its own since the spices overpowered the hazelnut. The shop and people are nice - only the sunroom is open for seating right now but it's very spacious and on a nice day it would be lovely in there. They have signs on all of the tables to indicate that they've been sanitized. I think this is probably just because I visited them quite early, but they only had about half of the case filled up with doughnuts, so there were less options than I was expecting. I was of course happy with what I got and the selection was decent, but since they only sell coffee and doughnuts it would be nice to have a fuller selection.

Yelp
First time here. Lots of people were inside the coffee shop. The line up was okay. Not too bad that we didn't have to wait too long to order. We ordered a cup of iced latte and asked for less ice. The flavour of the iced latte was great. However, the barista did not pay attention that they still put tons of ice in the cup. This coffee is located at Yew Street and West 4th Street. Great location that people can't miss it. There is street parking. We parked a couple of blocks away and walked to the coffee shop.

Yelp
Delish! Delish! Before venturing to Canada for the first time my friend and I made a list of places to scope out and this place was on the list. My friend and I came on a Friday around noon and the place was busy. The location is in a great neighborhood with shops around. I really enjoyed the interior of the place as well and they had a great selection of donuts! I ordered an almond milk mocha with a raspberry donut. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Jacqueline W.

Yelp
Coffee is pretty good, but be prepared for a long wait.m, as it's always busy! Pastries and donuts are mediocre and overpriced for what they are. Not really a place I frequent nor is it a place would purposely stop by to visit, but if you do. Expect a strong cup of coffee!
google avatar

Candy L.

Yelp
whenever I need a sweet treat to cheer me up, I come here. They have so many different kinds of donuts to choose from. Today I went there around 3:30, ordered the best value combo for $5.25 -a donut and a cup of drip coffee. But most of the donuts were sold out. So I decided to try the old fashioned chocolate flavour and decaf coffee, but the regular decaf was out, so the staff offer me upgrade decaf Americano. The chocolate donuts was crunchy on the outside , soft and moist inside. With the black Americano, it was a great combination . So if you want to come here , make sure to come here before noon because it's a bust place , need to wait about 10 minutes to get a seat most of the time

Yelp
I have always gone to the Main Street location since it's the most convenient. But of course the day I don't check Instagram is the day they post that the Main Street location is closed for the day for filming! Well onto the next closest and this was it! Parking is plenty around the area, from paid lots to street side you shouldn't have an issue with that. Upon walking up to the store front you immediately get the "49th parallel" vibe with the colours and decor of the shop! Kinda feels like home to be honest with you. The one thing I noticed was this place had more of a green and outdoorsy feeling to it compared to the Main Street location which is more of a cozy vibe to it. Now of course who just goes here for the coffee right?! They are also known to have a great selection of Lucky's doughnuts! Man the selection here felt plentiful for your doughnut indulging pleasure. Of course being a coffee snob I am I got a couple cold brew crueler's, cream brûlée, and sprinkle doughnuts. And of course I HAD to try out the doughnut ice cream sandwich since it has been on my "got to try" list since it was first released! To wash it all down I just got a cold brew in a bottle. 49th parallel coffee never disappoints and it's always a treat to see what kind of doughnut selection they have for the day!

Yelp
Lovely little coffee shop in the heart of Kitsilano. Came here on a Sunday morning after a dip at Locarno Beach, and my girlfriend and I enjoyed a donut and a coffee each. She got the featured donut, which was a rainbow-colored cake donut, while I got a glazed old fashioned. We loved them both. I was also a fan of the Venezuelan latte, which is mildly spiced. My girlfriend tried to get a caramel cappuccino but they weren't quite sure how to make that work, but the regular cappuccino was good enough. We really loved the patio area, which is covered but also open enough for air circulation. All told, it's a great spot in a lovely area and we'd gladly return next time we visit the area!

Ellie K.

Yelp
I really like this place. I just wish it didn't have this much line ups! Donuts are great coffees are great, people are great, the blue vibe is great. It's really nice in the summer time where they have all the doors open.

Yelp
Great study spot if you enjoy having lots of natural lighting and fab aesthetics! This 49th location on W 4th has a little outdoor covered room (like a sun room) that's perfect for all the natural light and their WiFi service reaches out there too. I saw a few heat lamps on top so I'm sure you will feel comfortable out there in the wintertime. The only downside is that on Sunday, they didn't turn on their WiFi until 4pm and when you connect to WiFi, it's only a 2 hr limit. I guess that forces you to be productive? I got a latte and I was pleased to find they had oat milk as an alternative :) their coffee blend is more on the bright, fruity, and sour side so if this is your jam, then their coffee is for you! They also have Lucky's doughnuts - they have a wonderful variety of donuts - I liked the creme brulee or rhubarb one the most.
google avatar

Tiara S.

Yelp
I went in for a cold brew today and I loved it. It was smooth and the glass bottle gave me a lot. I also got a donut, the mulberry old fashioned. It was very tasty. Together that only cost me $5.75. I also asked for some hazelnut milk on the side which I never heard off definitely a hit. I would totally come again.

Yelp
3.5 stars... it's a great spot with a lot of beautiful light and Lucky doughnuts available! Coffee and doughnuts? sold! I've read and seen the pictures of this place and when we arrived on a sunny Saturday, it was even better. It's so airy and modern with the nice solarium bringing in all the nice warm sun. If you ever want to get that perfect instagram shot of a latte art, this would be your spot. The cafe itself is a decent sized spot but not as many table spots as I thought. Most of the space is dedicated to the barista station, line up, and incredible display of Lucky Doughnuts. Even though there was a constant line up, there were a few tables available for a Saturday afternoon. I think most tables though was filled with someone with a laptop. I guess Vancouver is no different from Toronto with the laptop horde. Service here is quick and thats a good thing cause the line up was constant. I dont think I saw it ever go down beyond 4 people. They're quite helpful as well to answer any questions you might have with the doughnuts (which is so damn hard to choose just one!) and their espresso menu. Though they show their tea and daily bean menu, they dont have a menu with their full offering of espresso based drinks so you may need to check if they do a particular drink. I asked about my fav flat white. I wrote another review for Lucky Doughnuts and they were just so good. Come here first thing in the morning and you'll be rewarded with fluffy, delicious, and flavourful doughnuts. Honestly one of the better ones I've had across Canada. Grab a strawberry glazed old fashioned or a blueberry lavendar filled with earl grey custard... just... so... good. Their lemon meringue one looks ridiculously decadent. They're an easy 4 stars. Flat White - It wasn't a bad drink but it was really acidic for my preference... more so than any other one I've had in Vancouver all week. It wasn't even fruit forward or tart notes either... I wouldnt say it tasted off but it wasn't really pleasant. It's almost as if the balance of the milk to espresso was off. There wasn't any the creaminess to round off the edge of the espresso in a traditional flat white. I found the foam on top a bit more like a cappuccino. Instead of a microfoam, it definitely was frothy and more plentiful as if scooped in. Maybe they heard the order wrong but I dont think this was a proper flat white. 3.5/5 Gorgeous spot with some seriously good doughnuts and if I'm even back in Vancouver, I wouldn't hesitate to snag another doughnut but perhaps I may try the other coffee spots nearby.

Yelp
The coffee was incredible here! And the donuts were really good too. Definitely will be going back when we're back in town

Yelp
I love this place! The staff are so friendly, the espresso-based beverages are pretty good though somewhat astringent, and they have Lucky Doughnuts! I was indecisive about my choice of donut and they helped. Thank you in helping me make that very important life decision. Their interior (and exterior) design, as well as their branding, is absolutely top notch. Such a beautiful decor, with marble tables, some green outside, the patio atmosphere... Loved it. They really went the extra mile in that respect. All of us basic B's who love photographing latte art, this is definitely the place to do it. I wish we had a coffee shop with such a beautiful outdoor space in Toronto! (and if someone is reading this and thinks we do, hit me up and tell me about it!)

Jonathan V.

Yelp
Donuts were just ok, really dense and tasted a little old. Waited 20 minutes for a coffee before they told me they left it on the counter and tossed it. I guess I figured they would have called my name or brought it to where we were sitting.
google avatar

Kris S.

Yelp
This place really never dissapoints and always consistent. All you iced coffee lovers will have to try their Venezuelan Iced Coffee - comes unsweetened and you can add sugar cane syrup at condiments table. I recommend 2.5 pumps. The best iced coffee since I came here for the first time 6 years ago. They also have so many choices of donuts and loaves. All of them are worth trying. Prices are fair since they are made fresh and you cant get them any where else. Great place to catch up with a friend. Quite noisy, not really a place to study unless you have you headphones on. They have free WIFI! They also maintain cleanliness. There is not a time I feel they are ever unsanitary. Their baristas are all so good at what they do. Sometimes line ups are long but orders are cleared up swiftly as well. This place has lots of natural light. Love this place rather than the one at Main St. Free parking nearby if you are lucky or they have lots of pay parking nearby. If you havent visit, you should if you are in the area!

Yelp
Great locations. Of course no free parking, its in Vancouver. Well there is a parking lot beside it but its not free. Place is quite busy. They have indoor seating and an extended area that is kind of outdoor but enclosed. Yes that enclosed area is heated. The place is quite cold. So your drink will cool very fast in the winter time. I ordered a tea. Can't remember which kind. There are three kind of tea on the list and I picked the one in the middle. It is loose leaf tea and it was not bad for $3.50. If I came earlier, I would have picked a latte instead of tea. But it was getting late in the day. Great seating. Not too loud and have to say the place is great for a good conversation. There is free wifi but its not fast. Will come again.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with 49th Parallel. They are a staple in the Vancouver coffee + cafe scene. There are a good portion of coffee shops and even restaurants in the city that carry their coffee, so you know they're doing something right. Since I'm not drinking coffee as much anymore, I got a london fog on my most recent trip here, just like their coffee, their london fog was delicious. They also have their famous Lucky's doughnuts at this location, to pair with your choice of caffeine. One thing I love about the 49th Parallel standalone stores is how the decoration and aesthetic represent the neighbourhood they are in. In comparison to their Main St. location which has more rustic, dark furniture, this spot has bright furniture and plenty of light from the windows. Service is always kind and efficient, which is always appreciated bright and early in the morning. Props to you 49th Parallel, I'm a loyal fan.

Yelp
I've had several meetings here - and every person who suggests this place talks about the donuts - Lucky's! SO good. And I'm not even traditionally a donut fan The coffee has always been great and the staff is always accommodating and friendly. This visit, when I saw the jumbo cup o asked if they made lattes in there they said that traditionally they don't but that they would make one for me. Latte heaven! My friend ordered something lovely but I can't remember what it was because I was focussed on my own deliciousness. An orange and pistachio old fashioned. That's right. The most boring looking donut on the wall. If you asked me to name my top 100 donut flavors that wouldn't have been on my radar. But it called out to me and I loved it! Although I must admit the Wan eating the tiramisu donut beside me almost made me go up for a second! And those blue cups always make me happy! Sorry to the young ladies on either side of us studying - we talked a lot!!

Yelp
This place is known for more then there coffee and a good place to sit down for a chat. This place has lucky donuts, what are those you might say. Well image Tim hortons donuts but on steroids these donuts are big they are one of a kind and you got to be lucky to try them. Because you just don't find donuts like is everywhere.

Yelp
I LOVE the decor/vibe of this place. It's essentially a coffee shop w/ donuts and mint green walls! There is also a sunroom area where you get a half outdoor seating feel. Nice place to chill! Also very busy at a random time in the afternoon, granted it was a Saturday. Donuts-wise. I am in love with Blue Star donuts in Portland and I am not aware of any good spots in Seattle (where I am from). I was expecting this place to be something of that sort, but it was just ok. I would still come here for pretty spot/coffee.

Yelp
Amazing doughnuts and superb coffee! I love stopping by as soon as they open at 7am. There's ample seating for both solo diners and groups. It could get loud closer to the 8am rush, but still a conducive space for working in your laptop, I think. There's free street parking before 9am!

Yelp
If you didn't already know this, their coffee is usually two shots which makes sense why I hated their coffee in the beginning but now that I just get one shot for my 12 ounce with oat milk this is some of the best coffee in Vancouver! I also love their donuts, all of them are fantastic!

Yelp
Good coffee! A friend took us here to try out their coffee. As tourists I was confused how to order. I suppose we order first then pick up coffee further down the line... but there were two pick up spots. One for the plain coffee and one at the end for the more specialized drinks? The place was packed on a Friday evening. I tried asking a lady behind the counter which one was my coffee but she was incredibly rude and condescending. Without making eye contact, she replied, "this one is a small coffee and this one is not"... or something along that lines. She got irritated when I tried to clarify so I just grabbed whichever I thought was mines and figured if I was wrong, let them deal with. I remembered her with color in her hair. Rude. Please check your attitude. My plain small coffee was good, killed it and regretted not getting a larger size. My friend enjoyed his latte. Parking can be a challenge since it's located in a busy area without much designed parking spaces. There was outdoor seating which was quite warm for a chilly day.

Yelp
Great coffee. The decor is adorable - everything is coordinated in shades of robin's egg blue - and there's a ton of seating. I also had an incredible apple crueller from Lucky's that was so delicious and crispy.

Yelp
I don't know a version of myself that could survive without 49th Parallel Coffee...as much as it is a staple in Vancouver (with many other cafes selling and using their perfectly roasted beans), it has also become a staple in my life! The coffee is always done PERFECTLY and their almond milk lattes are the best in the city (I've scouted them all out). Certainly not a spot to miss for any visitors. Although it can be noisy at times, the bright and minimalistic aesthetic is still warm and comforting that you'll find yourself camped out for hours on end. Not to mention the Lucky donuts that they sell at this location (one is never enough). Lastly, when the summer days come along and the rain stops in our beautiful Vancouver, their patio is the perfect spot to re-caffeinate or soak in the morning rays!

Yelp
What better place for a quick coffee and donut? Or, if you want to sit in, there's lots of space. Personally I go for the macchiato - espresso + small amount of milk. The staff is always friendly and the shop smells delicious from the donuts being made in the back.
