4F Boutique Hotel Florence

Excellent little boutique hotel located slightly off the city centre. Conveniently located (a walk to the central area and to Santa Maria Novella train station will take around 15 mins) yet quiet enough. The suites offer excellent views of the Arno river, service is unobtrusive yet efficient. We had arrived early, and as there was room availability they had allowed us to check in early so that we could rest after our long commute. Wonderful full breakfast and beautifully appointed room, with fantastic wifi and great shower! Will definitely stay here again!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? The rooms are clean and very comfortable and the bed is comfy. The bath has a great large shower. Our room had a view of the Arno river that was bucolic and restful to sit and stare at and at night the lights sparkle on the water. The staff are all friendly and very happy to help with whatever information or needs you have. Breakfast is solid with choices of cereals, fruit, eggs, crepes etc. and the nicest servers. Some might consider its location away from the city center to be a drawback, but we found the quick 15ish minute walk to be the perfect distance to get our mornings started or to walk after dinner. And it is blissfully quiet here as well. I will absolutely recommend this hotel to friends headed to Florence and plan to return myself!

Excellent hotel in Florence! The location is great – in the embassy district, which feels very safe and comfortable for walking around, and only about 10–15 minutes from the historic center (Santa Maria del Fiore). The hotel itself is stylish and beautifully designed – I especially liked the color scheme of the interiors. Guests can also enjoy the rooftop terrace, which is a lovely bonus. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of tasty options, and there’s also a bar available. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. Our room was very comfortable. Normally I don’t like climate control systems because they work too strongly, but here the temperature was perfectly balanced. The bathroom was spotless, and the guest cosmetics were of great quality. Overall, a fantastic combination of quality, location, and price. Highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent experience! Had flight delays that had us arriving late but Giovanni got us all checked in and got us a late reservation for dinner on a Sunday night. Lovely comfortable room with an excellent shower. Breakfast was great with awesome service from Irene. Highly recommend.

Outstanding boutique hotel in the quiet diplomatic section of Florence. Very helpful and friendly staff, good sized comfortable rooms with an amazing bed and a generous delicious breakfast included. Thoroughly recommended!

We only stayed one night but got upgraded to a fabulous river view room. It was nothing short of stunning!! It was like staying in a private palazzo! The staff were also so friendly and helpful. We would have loved to stay longer but the hotel was fully booked. Hotel is really centrally located, within walking distance of all the sights. Breakfast was just sublime, with both a buffet and a menu for ordering hot food. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it and will be back very soon!

Excellent location in the west of Florence overlooking the river. The hotel is clean. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is extensive and of a high-quality. We spent six nights here and thoroughly enjoyed the visit would highly recommend.
