5 Bean Coffee

Has anyone else felt like 5Beans, 5 bean mocha coffee, isn't as flavorful as it used to be? My daughter and I went to the store today and found this to be the case. Our drinks were missing the sweet flavors that drew us to 5 Bean for many years. It wasn't always this way. My drink literally just tasted like warm milk. So, I jad to come on here to update my rating.

Just visited 5 Bean Coffee and had a solid experience. I ordered the Buckeye Mocha—a rich, chocolatey drink with just the right hint of peanut butter. Smooth, sweet, and not overly sugary. Perfect if you’re craving something indulgent without going overboard. I also grabbed a jalapeño cheddar bagel, which was warm, soft inside, and had a nice kick without being too spicy. The melted cheese and jalapeño combo gave it great flavor and a little edge to balance out the mocha. Cozy vibe inside, friendly staff, and good food-drink combo. Worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Wanted to try something different this morning and stopped in. Great coffee and good breakfast options as I picked up breakfast sandwiches and pastries for 5. Small shop but efficient service when they’re not slammed with orders . Outdoor seating is nice when the weather is good. Will return and worth a try IMO.

This coffee shop is absolutely amazing! The coffee is consistently delicious, with a great variety of flavors offered at no extra charge—including plenty of sugar-free options. Pumpkin spice lovers will be thrilled to know it’s available year-round! The staff is incredible, treating you like family from the moment you walk in. Lauren, in particular, goes above and beyond to make every visit special. The atmosphere and service are so exceptional that I happily drive 20 minutes, passing more than 10 other coffee shops, just to enjoy it. I’ve even recruited my colleagues to check it out, and they’re just as impressed as I am! If you’re looking for great coffee and a welcoming experience, give this place a try—you won’t regret it!

I never really liked coffee until I started coming here. Never had a taste for it. Then I tried 5 bean for first time a year ago and liked it so much that now it’s part of my weekly budget. Friendly staff and the 5 bean mocha w whip extra hot is the way too go.

I go here at least once or twice a week. Everyone there is sooo nice and every time I get a drink (which I always get the same thing) a large Carmel Cream Iced Latte, it tastes exactly the same; very consistent. Unlike some other coffee places. The atmosphere in there is just perfect for a coffee place! But I cannot rave enough about how nice everyone is. The BEST coffee shop in Ohio! Love you guys! :)

We came here on a Sunday morning in October for coffee and breakfast after having been in town for an event. We found the place using Google maps and searching “coffee shop”. It was 5 minutes from our hotel and seemed to have good food options. There was no wait when we got there and we ordered right away. We got coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Sorry, no pic of the food. The coffee was good. The food was ok. The atmosphere was easygoing. We sat down and ate there instead of taking it to go in the car but we weren’t there very long - maybe 15 minutes or so. Overall good experience.

Standard place for my family and I to stop when we're out. Coffee is great. Service is always friendly and accurate. Family likes the food - as a Celiac, there's not much I can enjoy, but that's pretty normal for me. Love it! Keep doing what you're doing!

Local shop near my house. They offer a variety of products and they also sell crimson cup coffee grounded. Very small breakfast selection. Reasonable price compared to Starbucks or any commercial coffee shop. It's typically pretty busy in the morning. But never received any service lesson okay. Once I stop in to use a Yelp coupon and was denied. They explain that it was expired, but if it were expired it would not have come up for me when I checked in. Small seating options but parking is plenty. Will visit again.

5 Bean is a solid coffee shop with good selection of food and beverages. It's located in a strip mall, but also has a drive thru window. They sell crimson cup coffee and Sammy's bagels. I got a large iced green tea and a bagel with turkey sausage, egg and cheese. The green tea was really good, and the bagel was solid but I wish it had some kind of sauce option (even ketchup) to cut some of the dryness. The inside has a few tables, but this place strikes me more as a quick grab and go type shop. They also have quite a bit of merchandise and coffee by the pound for sale. All in all, pretty neat coffee shop if you're looking for a quick pick me up in the Reynoldsburg area

5 second coffee stop. Once again, Doug and I were up early at our hotel and decided to get coffee while everyone slowly woke up from their drinking stupor. As we drove up the road to 5 Bean, we actually drove past it since we didn't see it on the left side of the road. We then backtracked and missed it again as we didn't see it. We decided to drive around to the back side of the building to see if GPS was being goofy and the only thing back there was... the back of the stores. As we were pulling up to the main road, we looked across the street and finally saw 5 Bean. Either GPS was way wrong or they moved locations recently and it wasn't corrected yet. We rolled up and the second we stepped inside, Doug got a call for everyone's drink order. I snagged myself my as-of-late usual Americano and Doug got himself a Frozen Hot Chocolate. Yep, you read that right. The baristas were friendly and fast. Despite it being the morning rush of people getting their bean juice, our 6 person drink order took no time at all. (We had 7 people in our group but one was dead to the world until 5pm that night.) Once the drinks were loaded up in a drink carrier, we dipped out. The place was nice, if not your typical coffeehouse. If our group would've showed up and decided to sit down, we would've taken up most of the seating area. So, keep that in mind if you and some peeps want to come for a relaxing time. As for my drink? It was good. Americanos are a very varied drink based on how they do their espresso. This one was a bit more on the bitter side, which didn't pair well with my slight hangover but was good nonetheless. It was half gone before we got back to the hotel, if that tells you anything. Lastly, they had these nice little stickers for sale and I wanted all of them but feared losing or damaging them in transit back home.

I ordered the Cold Brew with SF Toffee and a Keto bagel with Chicken salad. They were all delicious! The baristas were all so friendly. I'm happy I discovered this coffee shop. Starbucks who?

Salted caramel frozen mocha was delicious. Staff was very fast and very friendly and the establishment was clean as well! I would recommend this place. I am NOT a fan of Starbucks so im glad I found this place.

5 Bean Coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops in town. The staff is always friendly, the coffee is always delicious, and the seating is always inviting. I always make a stop when I'm back in town.

Yesterday morning my daughter and I were out doing some shopping and decided to find a new place for some coffee and breakfast. When we walked in no one greeted us having never been there before we reviewed the menu decided what we wanted and went to the order and pay here sign where we waited for about 5 minutes while every employee was helping the drive thru window. Once they finally asked if we were ready to order I began our order but she was acting very rushed and when I asked to add cold foam she said what flavor and I asked what the options are and she acted annoyed and pointed to a list on the counter and said any of these. we placed our order and sat down waiting for it to be ready. while sitting there they greeted several other customers upon entering the shop whom it appeared to be regulars. once we finished our breakfast we proceeded to leave and wasn't acknowledged like so many other customers were by saying thanks for coming. Needless to say we will not be going back. It was definitely very much known to us we were outsiders.

Great coffee. Need I say more? This app thinks I do. The staff- for some reason very very energetic. Can anyone help me understand why they always have so much pep and vigor? The drive through- sharp turns. Tread lightly my fellow Americans.

First timers! Ordered a blackberry lavender white chocolate mocha and a maple latte. Did not try their pastries but they have a wonderful looking assortment(including cake pops). Parking: plenty parking. Located in a shopping area. They also have a drive thru window! Ambience: relaxed environment. Italian jazzy music in the background. Service: great service. The servers were polite and welcoming. They were also really patient with us while handling the drive thru window. Coffee quality: 3.5/5 overall good but not great. The coffee flavor is fairly mute which allows for the syrup flavors to come through more but takes away from the overall enjoyment of the cup. Seems like more milk/flavors than coffee. Price: $ fair.

I received a gift card to 5Bean Coffee from my work and decided to check it out. They have a drive-thru which is perfect for times like these. The inside is very cozy and they have a lot of choices. I got an iced chai tea latte with almond milk. It was $5.80, including the up-charge for the almond milk. The gift card I had was $5.00 and I was going to charge the rest on my credit card, only to find out your credit card charges have to be a minimum of $1.00. This forced me to buy an additional item so I got a blueberry muffin. Not what I wanted to do and I wish the employee would've told me ahead of time. I also felt a little rushed by the employee. They do have a lot of sugar free choices so I got the sugar free vanilla and the employee said the chai had a sugar free option too. I'm not sure if it's real chai or just flavored chai...the drink tasted good, but real chai tea would be better! I don't think I'd go out of my way again for 5Bean, but it's still a neat local place to check out.

Amazing bagels and breakfast sandwiches! My go to was a bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. My favorite drink is the iced 5 bean mocha.

The address pointing to this location is NOT accurate and takes you into a business complex with no retail establishments. Be aware! The shop is located close to Bibibop, in the same plaza - 2087 Baltimore Reynoldsburg Road. I called the coffee shop when I had trouble finding the place, they answered and gave me directions to where they were located. Alas, I was saddened to find that there was only drive-through service. At that, there were some less than ideal signs up posting the announcement. Hopefully the small shop can keep enough activity to support them as they continue to offer less than full service options to the community.

There are plenty of amazing coffee shops in Columbus, but I love getting 5 Bean's frozen lattes. They're an upgraded Frappuccino that has the consistency and richness of a milkshake. I always make it a point to stop when I'm on this side of town. The shop is super cute and everyone is kind. The drive through is super speedy, I'm not sure how they make the frozen drinks so quickly? The quality is always great and a really nice treat yo' self type of caffeinated beverage. Try to remember to add a tip to your purchase when driving through. We have that courtesy with other businesses, but you don't usually have to sign. I usually the 5 bean mocha, salted caramel mocha and Buckeye mocha frozen. Always with whip.

Amazing flavors, my go to is the frozen cherry mocha. I just wish it caffeinated me more, otherwise 10/10.

I'm so glad we have a coffee shop like this in Reynoldsburg! Their coffee, tea, food and service are all top-notch. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu -- I have yet to be disappointed. In addition to the coffees, teas, lattes and blended cold drinks (which can all be customized if you're looking for decaf, lighter options, etc.), we were really impressed by their muffins and cookies. They also have kid-sized hot chocolate and frozen hot chocolate so my kiddos look forward to visiting as well! Parking is plentiful and they have a drive-through that goes around behind the building. Inside, they have outlets at most tables and a small counter by the window with power hookups if you're looking for someplace to work. Free WiFi as well, you just need to ask an employee for the passcode. It's a great place to put in some headphones and really grind, however it's a little noisy for phone calls or video chats because it's usually packed with people and the equipment to make the drinks can be periodically loud. If you've never visited 5 Bean, and you enjoy supporting independently owned local businesses, I suggest making it a point to stop by and try it out. You won't regret it and you'll most likely end up a regular like so many others who end up loving this place!

Visited today with a colleague for a work session and I was pleased with the visit. I ordered a hot tea and an Asiago bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese. The tea and bagel were made pretty quickly even though there was a constant stream at the drive thru window and the inside register. The bagel was tasty and exactly what I was looking for. My hot tea wasn't hot at all, but when I took it back and asked for it to be topped off with hot water, they replaced it because their hot water tap wasn't working correctly. After that, my tea was nice and hot. They even gave me an extra tea bag. The shop is small and there was continuous foot traffic, but it was easy to work there and the wifi was strong. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. It's a good midpoint for my colleague and me, so I'm sure we'll be back.

This place is fantastic! From the quick and friendly service to my delicious latte and the croissant I didn't know I so desperately needed, they hit five stars without a shadow of a doubt. I was in the neighborhood for work and hadn't had any coffee yet. I could also feel myself getting a little hangry. That's when I opened up my Yelp app and found this spot just up the street. I had heard good things and they had a plethora of great reviews from my fellow Yelp Elites, so I headed right there. I loved that they had a drive-thru and their menu was plastered along the fence, as well as in front of the speaker. There were three or four cars in front of me but they worked quickly. I was up front ordering within minutes. I got a vanilla latte with some type of milk alternative. I think it was either soy or oat, I can't quite remember. What I can remember is what's most important... That my drink was smooth and just what I was looking for. The croissant also helped to hold me over until lunch. I won't hesitate to stop here again when I'm on the eastside.

The absolute beat coffee. They are a bit pricey but you wont be disappointed. My go-to is the 5 bean coffee: yum, yum, yummy!

I have driven by this place 100s of times because I don't realize it was there. This place is tucked away off of 256 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. You have to look for it, or else you'll miss it if you drive by and blink. Please put it in the GPS and head there today. I promise you you will not be disappointed. The frozen drinks here are stunning. I will caution you, however, that they are extremely rich. My go-to beverage here is the Frozen Caramel Cream. If you have any sugar cravings, this drink will take care of them for you. It has a creamy, caramel taste with some strong buttery notes in there. The other fantastic thing about this drink is that it stays frozen for a long time. You know how some frozen drinks, after a few seconds, become liquidy; this doesn't do that. The crumble cake they have here is delicious as well. It's light on the cinnamon taste but heavy on the butter in a Paula Dean sort of way. It's also pretty massive, so be prepared to share or pack on a few pounds. It's your choice; choose wisely. Customer service is always superb. The folk here are always polite and answer whatever questions that you may have.

Instead of sitting through a thirty minute Starbucks drive-thru line, I decided to swing through 5 Bean Coffee this morning. Unfortunately, they are currently operating with drive-thru only at this time. I waited for about ten minutes to get up to the intercom. I ordered a Large 5 Bean Mocha (Hot) and a Kid's Hot Chocolate. I did see that all of the options were available in hot, iced, and frozen. I thought that that was neat. I also saw that they have breakfast sandwich and bagel options as well. The 5 Bean Mocha was just alright for me. I did not think that it was worth the $5. I might try something different next time. My daughter enjoyed her hot chocolate. I like that the hot chocolate was lukewarm so that my daughter could immediately enjoy it. They do currently have a 10% off Yelp check-in offer too!

I love this coffee shop. The baristas are amazing, know the menu well and are there too answer any questions you may have. The décor is cute and the shop is set up to be very intimate. I ended up getting the Salted Caramel Latte w/ Oat Milk($6.50) and it was delicious! They also had tasty looking pastries and bagel options. I have a feeling this is going to be my new favorite coffee place. They also have a drive-thru if you don't have time to run in.

If I were a moth, 5 Bean would be my flame. I go head first into the large mocha every time. Keeps me buzzzzzzing all day long. When heading out of the house I look for an excuse to swing by here. Best little coffee shop around town.

I have found a new favorite coffee place! I have been here several times, with the recent times during the COVID restrictions.... even with being overworked, every employee was pleasant and attentive. During my last visit through the drive through, it began thunder storming, the drive thru attendant gave me extra napkins, without me asking, to dry the inside of my door. On to the offerings.... my new found favorite is the frozen lavender cold brew latte, the frozen factor intensifies the lavender flavor. They also offer keto friendly bagels, and several pastries (I have yet to try). I believe the bagels are locally sourced, and are actually flavorful. I've been in the actual store, very briefly, and remember it being cute... I believe they had mugs for sale, and potentially had local artwork as decoration, and available for sale... but the coffee is what brings you here, and will keep me coming back

Absolutely Delicious! This is a hidden gem, that I have only known of for the past few years. My fiancé and I stop here every time we come into town to visit family. The staff is always warm and welcoming. They are willing to answer any questions and patient with you while you decide. The entire coffee shop gives off this homey relaxing vibe. They have punny signage and even a drive thru for those on the go. They are apart of a strip mall so there is plenty of parking and located right off of 256 and the freeway. It is super convenient and in an amazing location. I have personally stopped here well over dozens of times. I recommended this to anyone, even if coffee isn't their choice of drink. They have plenty of options, my favorite is the Frozen Buckeye, my fiancé loves their Frozen Lavender Matcha with Honey drizzle. The Frozen Buckeye is great for individuals that are not coffee people. It has a tinge of coffee taste, but it is not overpowering. It's essentially a milkshake. We have also tried their cake pops; pistachio, red velvet, chocolate, and vanilla. The only complaint is there have been times where we have gone through the drive thru and we haven't gotten what we ordered or haven't gotten a complete order. They are always willing to fix and rectify any issues, so I don't hold that against them. I can't recommend this place enough!

I was extremely disappointed that they did not honor their coupon that is advertised on yelp. The coffee was balanced, but nothing special. Also disappointed that they were drive thru only, but that's not necessarily their fault.

Amazing coffee, so many flavors. Bagels are always tasty and warm. The bacon egg n cheese is by far my favorite thing, for good reason, it is always the same tasting. Amazing. The service is superb, always grated with a smile. Really an amazing experience. The only problem is they don't really have a way of telling you **all** the flavors they have posted on the menu.

Whenever I go places I make it a point to find a cute coffee shop rather than the usual Dunkins or Starbucks. I opted for a frozen hot chocolate and it was amazing. I wanted to go back and get another! If you're in the area or wanting to take a nice drive to the area, I recommend this place for sure!

They have so many options!! Be sure and check the black book for their drink list. Very friendly, hospitable staff. Made our drinks very quickly, and they taste great! I had a doughnut today.. or I would've tried a crumb cake or a croissant. Awesome place! Will be back for sure to get my crack.

Beautifully detailed store; plenty of things for sale besides coffee. Well stocked; photo exhibit on wall. Can tel business is female owned by the personal touches. Can also see the personality of the owner in the store, beautiful business. We need more of these and less corporate owned profit maximizers. So much better than a Starbucks because you know the profit is going to help someone live and make the community a better place. Great kids who work there.

This is one of my favorite little coffee joints here in Reynoldsburg. The location is very unassuming as you pull up to a small drive through window in the Sid did a strip mall building. The ladies are always super nice inside and they have great recommendations for beverages when you don't know what you want. If it's your first time try the frozen latte with caramel and chocolate sauce - wowzers. Also - the main reason I go there - the breakfast sandwiches. I'm not sure what kind of magic dust they put inside these puppies - but they are huge and delicious. I get one every single time I pull through here! Keep up the good work!

What a great hidden gem in Reynoldsburg! The employees are such sweethearts and the coffee is fantastic! I generally get iced coffee but I tried the frozen Carmel latte this time and it was perfection. I tried a banana nut muffin and it was awesome too! Great price for the size and very filling and fresh. Also there is a 10% check in coupon which really made this trip worth reviewing and letting you know drop what your doing and go to Reynoldsburg and get some coffee:)

This is absolutely my favorite coffee spot! I have been going to 5 Bean Coffee for 2 years now. I am so glad I found this place. I always get the same drink but occasionally I'll try something different and it's still good :) The décor inside of 5 Bean very lovely. All the art and cute coffee signs are so charming. I always enjoy the little sign board with witty sayings at the end of the drive through too. When it comes to coffee shops, this is one of the best!

The frozen buckeye is AMAZING. It's not listed on the menu, but they'll make it if you ask. It is my absolute favorite coffee drink

It was an early Sunday morning for us so we headed over to 5Bean Coffee. The local Crimson Cup branded cafe had a short drive through line and ordering was uneventful. My wife got a tea latte with both cinnamon and nutmeg on top of the fluffy whipped cream. I ordered a lavender cold brew. Whipped cream and lavender combine well to cut the natural bitter of a cold brew. This was a luxurious and silky drink. My wife approved of the tea latte as well.

Why oh why oh why go to that "other chain coffee shop" in town (all locations are impossible to get in/out of and the service sucks!) and not go to 5 Bean? Always a great place to grab a great cup of coffee... what more do you need?

I'm a longtime fan of 5 Bean. I used to get them multiple times a week when I lived locally - they have a massive collection of coffees and flavors as well as little bakery items if you're feeling peckish. They have seasonal drinks that are definitely always changing and come with some non-dairy mylk options as well! Be sure to check their hard book of coffees and non-caffinated drinks as well. They even have ones for kids! Sometimes the flavorings can taste a little too sweet - but the baristas are accommodating and willing to help make your order right. Plus their sidewalk sign always has creative and cute phrases that they change intermittently, which I'm a sucker for.
