I got the hot mess burger medium rare. It was more like medium. Burger was very good but not anywhere near as amazing as I expected from the reviews. Fries were fresh and tasty. I like that they have a range of different sides you can get My partner got a cold sandwich. I prefer hot ones but he said it was perfect for summer. He said it was great. Menu has some creative ideas that make this place unique in the area Counter service was friendly. There was a loud fan running and nothing really stood out regarding atmosphere. It is relatively small inside and the parking lot is pretty small as well

From the moment we walked in, things started off on the wrong foot. We waited 45 minutes for a simple cheeseburger while others who arrived after us were served first. When the food finally came out, the burger was over cooked, and I genuinely couldn’t swallow it — not exaggerating. We hadn’t eaten all day, so I had to force it down just to get something in my system. The cook, who had shoulder-length hair, wasn’t wearing a hairnet, which was concerning. On top of that, they were out of several basic items: coleslaw, pickles, and banana pudding. And somehow, our order still came out to over $20 — for just a burger with no sides. That’s Five Guys pricing without anything close to Five Guys quality. To make matters worse, the service was disappointing. The girl at the counter seemed annoyed the entire time and even rolled her eyes at me when they forgot my burger toppings. The one redeeming factor was that I couldn’t eat a full burger, and they were kind enough to make me cheese patties instead — which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that small gesture wasn’t enough to make up for the rest of the experience. Don’t waste your money on high prices and gross food 🤢 I feel so sick

Phenomenal burger. I have no doubt in my mind that they rightfully earned the title of "Best Burger in Montomgery." Very friendly staff and clean interior. Loved the decor; lots of local artist works on the wall (for sale), and the exposed brick is a favorite of mine. Every single thing on the menu sounds great - good luck making up your mind. I did the Killer B burger, a distinctly solid choice. LOVE that the burgers are cooked to medium/medium-well. It and the fries have great flavor; well-seasoned. Bacon was the right amount of crispy. Buns are toasted on the grill. You can taste the love in every bite, for sure. Fresh and delicious. Beers on tap and cans/spirits, what's not to love? 11/10 would recommend. Sadly, I'm not a local or this would be the spot I lived at.

My son and I decided we wanted to grab a burger for lunch and looked up the closest place to us, and we stumbled upon this lovely gem! We came for lunch. It wasn't crowded. The server was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. You can choose to eat in the restaurant or order to go, and you order from the counter. I ordered the cheeseburger and fries. It was really good!

Googled best burgers in Montgomery as we are traveling because we just wanted a good burger. THANK YOU GOOGLE! Fries? Delicious and cooked perfectly. Burger? Big, juicy, flavorful. Service? Just like you’re at home around friends and family. Wait time? Long enough to get something to drink, sit down, and take a deep breath after being in the vehicle for 6 hours straight. We will definitely be back when we come through the area again.

Awesome food!! This is a great hole in the wall with all sorts of sandwich combinations. I love the bearded fries in the seasoning that they use is great. I got the Memphis Mafia and my best friend got the quesadilla burger. My complaint is that they serve Pepsi products instead of Coke, but I will definitely come here and get the sweet tea anytime!

I found this place when I looked up “best burgers In Montgomery”. It is a small restaurant with a sports bar look. Upon walking in, I was greeted right away. Since I was dining in, I was told to place my order at the bar and take a seat. I did just that. While I was waiting, I grabbed my drink (this place has Pepsi products and tea) from the fountain sodas and started noticing the atmosphere in the restaurant. There were a few TVs, alcohol for mixed drinks, and a number of beers on tap. In addition, I noticed chalkboard and writing On some of the walls, giving more detail to their food. I also noticed that there was a stack of games for people to play while they were at the restaurant. These games included: Uno, Chess, Checkers and others. I ordered the Hollerpenyo & Bacon burger with fries. I will start with the fries, I was disappointed when they came out because I could tell they were not freshly made fries. They were definitely frozen from a bag. I will say, though, that they were seasoned well. I was just hoping for fresh fries. The burger itself was delicious! The patty was thick, it was cooked to perfection and very juicy! It was full of flavor and the bun was thick enough to hold together the hamburger as a whole. I liked the size of the jalapeños that were put in the burger, I was just hoping that they would be a little more spread out versus all in one spot. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant for someone who is going here for a burger. While the restaurant has a whole slew of sandwiches, by the taste of their burgers… I would say their sandwiches are probably really good as well.

My sandwich the Mighty Casey was okay but my pasta salad was the best Ive ever had. My son said his chicken sandwich was one of the best he has ever had. The seasoned fries are delicious- so much so we bought a bottle of it.

Our first time at 5 Points. On a scale of zero to five, 5 Points Deli & Grill rates 4.98 points! (I'll explain the missing 0.02 at the end of this review!) We were warmly greeted, and Maddie immediately asked what we would like to eat. Being first-timers, we weren't sure at all, so Maddie offered a "quick run-through" of their menu. "Sandwich or a burger?" We were hungry for a great hamburger, ava were asked for a recommendation. Maddie described her personal favorite, the BTB (Buffalo Thai Burger) and it sounded great. And it was! Just the right level of mild spicy, and the buffalo sauce blended in nicely without being over-sweet or spicy hot. Plus, being gluten-sensitive, we felt honored and appreciated when Maddie immediately said, "How about some sourdough bread?" Yes! (I don't understand the science of it, but sourdough bread plays nicely with a gluten-sensitive tummy!) The seasoned fries and pasta salad were the "frosting on the cake". (Speaking of dessert, we snagged a couple of Caramel Pies to go!) Only one small (0.02 point) recommendation. One: Napkins will be an essential resource for the successful completion of your mission, should you choose to accept it. However...we found our napkin dispenser utterly frustrating! The first dozen attempts to persuade the dispenser to politely dispense a dozen paper napkins resulted in twelve terribly fragmented, ripped, useless bits of processed paper. Recommendation: Pack the dispenser carefully, without over-packing and stuffing too many napkins! Pack a reasonable amount of napkins, close the lid, then try pulling out one napkin. If the napkin rips and tears, then you've packed too many napkins in the dispenser! Two: The chairs are not comfortable. They are attractive, and they fit the atmosphere, but they aren't comfortable, especially for the "wider of hull" person! The bench against the wall was helpful, however. Maybe add a cushion? OK, the 0.02 rant is done and over. Thank you, Maddie, for the nice run-through and helpful attention. We'll be back!

Stopped here as we were passing through town. Hubs felt like a Club sandwich, so off to Yelp we went and found this spot! Hubs had the Club, I had the Turkey and Swiss; we both had the fruit cup. And, both kids had a kids cheeseburger and fries. Sandwiches were great! They were loaded with meat and just as described. I wish mine would've had more avocado spread and pickles but I scarfed it down before I realized they weren't very prominent. These are meaty sandwiches and not filled with veggies so if you're looking for that make sure you ask for more greens. (Not complaining, I was very happy with my meal). The kids fries were awesome, luckily kids willingly shared. Now, the kids burgers were great but somehow one was over seasoned. The space was quaint and clean. The chairs were highly uncomfortable- I could not imagine staying longer than necessary. But, I'd get that sandwich again!

Every time we come to Montgomery, Al. We come here. Their food is delicious and very creative! We had the grilled cheese cheese burger and the quesadilla burger. You are missing out if you have not eaten here oh did I mention they have cold beer too!!

Ordered carryout and the burger I ordered was not cooked all the way. There was so much pink. Edit: When ordering online I do not see anywhere that mentions how the burgers are cooked. There also is not a place online to specify how someone would want the burger cooked.

My first time coming here i ordered the Thai burger and they ran out of the sauce used in the burger which was 100% okay, and the food was amazing ! My second time coming, I ordered the same thing and they had the sauce for the burger this time. Once my food came out i took two bites of the burger and started to have an allergic reaction. The thai sauce had peanuts in it. The menus did not mention that it had peanuts in it and there were no indicators of it containing peanuts at all until it was too late. I let the staff know and they expressed zero concern or politeness. I simply asked if the cook could just remake it since i applied the sauce on other parts of my meal before i knew it had peanuts in it. Despite me already paying for the meal the cook then responded by saying he's not going to remake it because the sauce was on the side (even though i said the food was contaminated) and was speaking very loudly from the kitchen how "everyone knows Thai food has nuts in it" Not only is the customer service in this place rude and classless, their behavior is dehumanizing and absolutely disgusting. There was no apology or concern. ADDITIONALLY, my friend and i were the only ones in the entire restaurant. I don't blame the hostesses because she was just doing her job, however the cook is an absolute POS. Rather than causing a scene, i just left and they kept their food. Respectfully, screw you guys.

Yelp check in gets you a free domestic beer which I certainly took advantage of. I got the Grilled Cheese burger which was massive and tasty. Being a first timer I made the mistake thinking it was just grilled cheese with a burger in the middle. Nope, it's literally 2 grilled cheese sandwiches on top and bottom of a burger. Very good but just a bit too much bread for me so I scrapped the top "bun" midway through. Burger had great flavor and I would love to come back and try something else. Neat inside ambience and close to ASU campus.

Here in Montgomery on business and found this place on Yelp. Good lord that was an amazing burger! I can't say it was the best burger in my life, but it is 100% the best burger I've had in recent memory. Cooked to a perfect medium, it was love at first bite. I'm hoping to get there again before I leave and I highly recommend

Some coworkers and I stopped here for lunch. Quite the variety of sandwiches, burgers and some other items. Everyone seemed to enjoy what they got. I personally got the club. I have 1 critique, the meat was too centered so the edges didn't have much meat. I'm not sure what type of fries you'd call what they have but there's something about them I personally don't love. They were good but. It my first choice of style. The bread was toasted well, the vibe inside was pretty cool and the lady at the counter was so nice and welcoming. You order your food and they bring it to your table which maybe took 10 minutes for all of us. Great service! Club 8.5/10 Fries 7/10 I would definitely recommend checking them out. We all got sandwiches so I can't comment on the burgers but I'd be willing to bet they're also good.

This is a neat great establishment. However, the parking is virtually nonexistent and there is no outdoor seating, but the food and atmosphere make up for it all it lacks. Their menu is just like their burgers and sandwiches, huge. Take a look at the menu (see pictures) and check out some of the creative and tasty burgers they have. If you're not in the mood for a burger, maybe one of their stacked sandwiches. I had the Legacy Club and goodnight it was thick! My friends had the quesadilla burger and P.S. I Love U sandwich; both looked amazing and, according to my friends, were beyond scrumptious. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with any choice of food here. I've even heard that the banana pudding is bomb-dot-com. If it is, let me know. Overall, I would definitely go back to this place, if for nothing more than to try every single menu item (they even have a burger with peanut butter on it and another one that the bun is two grilled cheese). Go, check them out! Enjoy! Note: they give a 10% military discount.

A solid choice for burgers and sandwiches. It can get a little busy but don't let it scare you off. Lots of college kids and professional lunch warriors. I got the One Hot Mess burger and in that moment, I think I saw God. I was really hungry though... Returned a second time for a PS I Love You sammich--basically a rachel with pastrami--and it was okay. My date got a Buffalo Thai burger and that shit was bomb. 10/10, would recommend!!

Incredible food. These guys take pride in their craft and it shows. The ranch here is somehow better than anywhere else I've been lately and I would highly recommend this spot.

5/5 easy. I could describe how good it was but not even necessary. This is a must try in Montgomery, I was surprised we even had a spot like this. Was back in my hometown, and stopped by to try. I had the Buffalo Thai Burger and my friend had the Love at First Bite. She was thoroughly impressed with the sandwich and had enough food for 2 (maybe 3 meals). My burger was seasoned great, the combo of Provolone and Swiss is underrated and undefeated.. the cheese crisp was a weird concept.. I really didn't know what to expect but it complimented it perfectly.. the sauce was amazing.. the bacon we cooked perfectly. I added the black pepper horseradish (even though I asked for it on side) but it went perfectly. Everything was just really tasty and well executed. 5/5 keep this restaurant alive.

Fun little grill in Montgomery. Had a nice lunch here on our way home from the beach last Saturday. Comfortable booth and table seating is available, though there's not a ton of it. You order at the counter but the employees bring your food out to you. The girl at the register was super nice and friendly and even offered to get an extra plate for my parents to split their burger on even when they didn't initially ask for one (so as not to overburden her). The place was clean and they played really good music! The bathroom is a one-holer but it was clean and tidy, so that's good! Parking out front is sort of limited but there's other spots nearby. My parents split a regular hamburger and French fries. They were craving a burger and were quite happy with this one. It's a large, fairly thick patty and was plenty for them to share. I had the grilled cheese with fries. It's made with provolone and Swiss, which are cheeses I don't typically associate with your standard grilled cheese. It worked pretty well, though! It had a slightly funky cheese odor, but the taste was yummy, cheese was melted well, and bread was a perfect golden brown. We all enjoyed our slightly seasoned French fries, too. In sum, this is a comfy spot to grab a sandwich or burger and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

I have only done take-out from 5 Points, and the burgers and fries still taste fresh by the time I get home. Their menu has the classics and some unique combos, and so far they have all been amazing!

Good, prompt service to order! Server provided suggestions of favorites. Wait time for the food was appropriate about 15-20 minutes. We ordered Love at First Bite and The Killer B's with fries! Definitely enjoyed the Killer B's . The Love at First Bite could've used more horseradish sauce. Nice overview and we will revisit!

Stopped by on a family road trip. Got there just as they opened and it was a good thing too! The place filled up within a few minutes and it's obvious why. Great food, great atmosphere and quick service.

My wife and I shared the hot mess burger, and it was delicious! The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned heavily which may be off-putting to some, but under seasoned fries are worse! The guy before me got the last piece of caramel pie, so I'm making plans for a return visit to try it :)

I've been looking for new places to try in Montgomery and I pass by this place all the time driving through Fairview so I decided to give it a shot. The staff is very friendly and warm and the inside of the restaurant has a nice vibe. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries because I just wanted to sample their menu, nothing too fancy. It didn't take long for my food to come out, and they gave me extra sauce to eat with the food. The burger was thick and juicy on this nice sourdough bun. It had a nice taste too it. I say give this place a shot !!!

Was well worth the diversion from interstate for lunch. Portions are ample, great Rye bread, Bacon was great and it's nestled in neat little area, obviously trying to revitalize. No the banana pudding is not what your grandmother made. t's got a slightly startling cinnamon allspice kind of deal going on. But well worth the detour and back on the road in 1hr.

Doesn't look like much when you drive by, but these people can really make a sandwich and burger. They more options than you could imagine... and it is worth multiple trips to check them all out. This is a must try in Montgomery!

Great place. Food was solid. Great burger. Awesome small business is a great location. Great service. They have plans for a full service bar, game nights, and live music. I arrived about 6:15 pm on a Saturday night. The place was empty when I arrived. After I sat down there was a steady flow of customers. The goal of 5 points is to be a neighborhood restaurant bar with a "Cheers" like atmosphere. I thought the place was comfortable and I enjoyed the music.

They really have a great selection of sandwiches and burgers. Make sure you get the paper menu and use it to help decipher the large menu board. The burgers and sandwiches my folks ate were really good. The fries have alittle above average amount of salt on them but not unbearable. Looked like they have a good beer list also, but we were there for lunch and was traveling. Only true down side is parking which takes some figuring out if you don't know the area.

Was looking for a spot to grab a bite as we were jamming through Montgomery and found this gem. It hit all the points, excellent burger options, outstanding sandwiches and a good, albeit little, draft beer list. Just what we needed and wanted!

Favorite place in Montgomery. I've been 3 times and burgers taste like hand patted, toppings go together and are delicious, sides are phenomenal. Bit of trivia, they have one bun that is melted cheese like a crust. Good low carb. I've also had a non- burger sandwich. Delicious. Should mention good beer selection. I always go at lunch so no drinks, But beer is always tempting. Cannot recommend any higher.

Bad first impressions: Place is located around the side of a strip of businesses. Had to make a u turn to locate. When we walked in the guy eating at the counter was more interested in us than the guy behind the counter. No greeting just hunched over order pad with pen. We checked the menu before coming so we knew what some of the cryptic names on the chalkboard meant. "the bob" and "killer bs" burger gotta check the paper menu for explanations. Asked what kind of slaw it was the guy said "regular slaw". Mayonnaise kind? "Yeah". (It was not. It was a vinegar based slaw and neither of us cared for it.) The good: Beers on tap (although I couldn't partake this time). Burger was good although lots of mayo (normally get on side) fries were thick and home style, very good. Extensive menu on chalkboard when you walk in. Needs improvement: Roast beef sandwich wasn't great. Horseradish advertised wasn't evident also lots of mayo. Self serve drink station was fine. tea was very watery. We picked it bc of good reviews and close to interstate. Lots of potential here but didn't have a great experience.

I'm a sandwich girlie, I could eat a sandwich every day but I am picky about the quality of ingredients! I got the Turkey and Swiss on rye -- the turkey is high quality and fresh like you would get from a deli counter, and the spicy pickles that came on it were a yummy touch. Also tried a bite of the hollerpenyo burger and it was good too. We recommend!

Well this was fantastic! The service was amazing! The staff was so nice and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. I came with my mom and sister. My mom got the hot cheddar and beef sandwich with pasta salad. It was a very full sandwich! She really enjoyed the pasta salad, also. My sister got the quesadilla burger, and I will definitely get that, next time! It is truly a world wonder! She got fries with it. They were pretty good. I got a grilled chicken sandwich without the cheese, added jalapeños, and got it with mustard, instead of mayo. It was very good! I got the side salad, which was very impressive! Even just looking around, I know I want to come back and try more! You should do the same!

Yum! Let's start there. My husband and I were on a mini road trip in the Montgomery area and used Yelp to find a delish lunch spot. We ended up at 5 Points Deli & Grill and we were not disappointed. Between the two of us we had a Ziggy sandwich (ham, pork, pickles, spicy mustard) and a burger with bacon and jalapeños along with fries and a piece of caramel pie. They cook the burgers between medium to medium well unless you ask for something else. I did ask for my burger to be more between medium well to well. It came out closer to well and that was just right for me. The burger itself was very tasty and the toppings pushed it over the top into fantastic. The fries were great, on the salty side, but great. The pie tasted like eating a caramel apple without that pesky apple! If you're in the area, give this place a try for sure.

The food and service at Five Points Deli are both amazing. Every time I return I vow to try something new and I haven't been disappointed in my first 4 visits. It's all good!!!!

Greatest burger I have ever had!!! They are a little pricy but I feel like if you are not paying 10 dollars or more for high quality beef on a burger then you are doing it all wrong. I typically order the Quesadilla burger. It is a tortilla with cheese and jalapeños on top, with another tortilla with your burger more cheese, another tortilla and more cheese and jalapenos and finally a tortilla top top it off! The service is awesome and the guys ask how you want your burger cooked as well. If you are ever looking for a night out this is the place to go!!!!

What a heck of a bacon cheeseburger. Great staff and awesome food. A little hard to find on the gps but don't give up. Ask the guys what's their best burger and go for it. They are large portions so u can share of ur not that hungry. Sweet team is on point and the fries are great. Add an extra topping to the burger and have at it

Hey... Look....You can eat at the BK or Micky D's or the Hot and Juicy place that has a lil red headed girl with pig tails... But.... This joint has the goods! Fantastic food... Cool atmosphere and a burger so good you'll lick your eyebrows! Do yourself a favor... Get out of the burger rut and have a good experience... I dare you!
