5 Sentidos Cascais - Areia

What a gem! We had choosed this place for our 3rd year wedding anniversary. We were on a trip with my sister and brother in Portugal and Cascais was our last stop of a guided tour of our day-trip to Sintra and men did we choose perfectly! This place is far from the tourist places in Cascais, in fact you kind of wonder if your cab driver is lost when getting there! But the restaurant is beautiful, the service was very professionnal yet not snob and the food was delicious. Prices are really good giving the quality of food & service you get! It was one of the best restaurant we had during our trip and highly recommend if you are in the area.

I’ve been wanting to go here for soo long and every time I’ve tried drop-in, they’re more or less laughing at me. It’s always PACKED! And it’s understandable, because this place is AMAZING!! Fantastic service, very happy, friendly and alert. The food is incredible! Flavors that I didn’t know would go well with each other, truly melts in your mouth. Very cool arts on the walls that fit in this fresh and modern atmosphere. I’m definitely going back!

Such a beautiful spot. In a quiet area outside Cascais. A calm and warm atmosphere. Our server was really friendly and the food was the best we’ve had in Portugal so far. Highly recommend. We had the salmon carpaccio and octopus salad to start, the Breem for main and orange, pistachio tart and chocolate cake for dessert Delicious.

Very cozy ambience. Great food. Fresh seafood. The best one in Cascais. Excellent service and superb staff. Less wait time. We got our food right on time.

A warm atmosphere, incredible food and welcoming staff. The portion sizes are great and the food is tasty. Nice decor and the tables are well spaced out. We had clams as a starter and the tiger prawn paella as a main. One of the best meals I’ve had since arriving in Portugal, would return every time.

It was my first time visiting Portugal, and this place is truly a hidden gem! Not many tourists, not noisy at all, and located in a quiet residential neighborhood with such a peaceful atmosphere. The vibe of the restaurant is amazing, and above all, the service from the owner was outstanding. The food was delicious and it became one of the best memories of my trip to Portugal. An absolute highlight of our trip - not just the best meal we had in Portugal, but one of the most memorable dining experiences ever! 5 Sentidos in the peaceful area of Areia feels like a hidden treasure. The Paella Negra was simply out of this world. What made the evening truly special was the staff - so charming, funny, and genuinely warm. They made us feel instantly welcome and cared for. If you’re near Cascais, this place is a must. Exceptional food, beautiful atmosphere, and staff who turn a dinner into a memory.

What an evening! We loved the food SO much. Best sea bass I've ever had. The waiter was super funny and kind. The service was quick and on point. We had blankets already on our seats for a chilly evening. All 3 courses were amazing. Will definitely come back. 6/5 stars ⭐😉
