On the Grid : 5 Spot

"At 5 Spot, not only does the menu rotate, but so does the cuisine — and along with it, all of the decor! For a few months at a time, the menu features one American food cuisine, like New Orleans Cajun or Autumn in New England. For the time being, this lil' diner is all about Hawaii." - MINT

5 spot cafe was good, but not great on our visit. It has great reviews and is a staple in Queen Anne, but not on our visit. The service was way too slow, and our server wasn’t very friendly. This place is a classic diner and the portions are huge, which is great. They have plenty of table seating, but the staff seems overworked as there weren’t enough servers. I’m sure if there were more waiters working our experience would’ve been better. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and thought the place had a good vibe and layout. Although I will see the kids pancakes were a little rubbery. The good news is it’s kid friendly. We’ll go back again to see if our next visit is any better. We still think it’s worth the visit.

Google
This place has posters on its wall advertising being awarded the #1 breakfast restaurant in Seattle, but I can't agree with it. The food is a hit or miss depending on what you get. The cheese curds were good, and the breakfast burrito was just alright, but unfortunately, the biscuits and gravy were not good at all. The flavor was so bland it had to be thrown away. I will commend their customer service though. Our waiter said they don't offer a military discount, but went ahead and gave us a discount anyway. It was extremely awesome of them, and appreciated. Because of this, if I were in the area again, I'd consider giving them a second chance and trying some of their other items.

Google
Service was great. Warm, friendly. Food portions were huge (wish we had the ability to take leftovers with us). The food itself was extremely good (potatoes 10/10). Came out very quickly.

Google
5 Spot in Queen Anne was a fantastic breakfast spot I really enjoyed during my visit to Seattle. It quickly became one of my favorite sit-down breakfast spots of the trip. (Note- I didn’t make it to a lot of sit down breakfast restaurants/diners on my list— leaving me with more to explore during my next visit. So, keep that in mind reading this review. ) We ordered the chorizo scramble, which had a great flavor and came with a really decent-sized portion skillet. We also had the 5 Spot Plate, I believe, which came with eggs, bacon, sausage, a pancake, and French toast. This was perfect for me because I’m always torn between French toast or pancakes. The French toast was definitely my favorite, but the pancake wasn’t bad at all — the batter was solid. When we went, it was crowded but there wasn’t much of a wait to be seated. However, I can imagine this place being really popular during peak breakfast or brunch hours on the weekend.

Google
Excellent food. If you're really hungry and want to experience lots of flavor, I'd recommend the huevos rancheros. The NY steak & eggs are delicious and the hash browns are some of the best I've ever had. Not greasy, flaky and crisp with a hint of seasoning. Awesome. Great selection of local fresh fruit too.

Google
This was my first time visiting Seattle, and 5 Spot made a lasting impression. The neighborhood has such a charming, small-town feel—it felt like walking onto a movie set. I ordered the huevos rancheros, and they did not disappoint! The food came out hot, fresh, and surprisingly fast. Portions were generous—I even had leftovers to bring back to the hotel. Service was equally impressive. We were helped by Kenny, who was friendly, attentive, and really added to the overall positive vibe. We sipped on mimosas and just enjoyed the atmosphere—it was such a fun, relaxed experience. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the area. Great food, great service, and a warm, welcoming setting!

Google
I had an incredible brunch experience at Five Spot with my girlfriends, & I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm & inviting. Our server, Kenny, made the experience even more special—his friendly, relaxed vibe & attention to detail were unmatched. He made sure we had everything we needed, & his service was just impeccable. If you're looking for a family-friendly spot with a wide range of breakfast & lunch options, Five Spot is the place to go. Whether you're craving something classic or want to try something new, they have a fantastic variety to choose from. OH & don’t forget the mimosas! Thank you, Kenny, for your immaculate service & delicious recommendations!

Google
The atmosphere and service were excellent, really enjoyed the sort of retro vibe. Service was exceptional as well. The food, however… my friend that was with me got the Chorizo Benedict and was not impressed. I tried it as well and I agree. I had the Cali Benedict and it was good, but both of our hash browns were crispy on top and like carrot sticks on the bottom (undercooked). Overall not the best experience. I’m visiting here and personally have had much better at other places.

Yelp
One of my favorite breakfasts in Seattle. Had the Lobster Benedict on special this morning and it was delicious. Great vibes all around

Yelp
I had dinner here for the first time today; I didn't realize this place had a dinner menu! As usual the service was friendly and prompt. Sergio took care of us and our food was great, also just as fast getting on the table as breakfast. I enjoyed my Cesar salad and the relaxed atmosphere. Thanks 5 Spot for being a Queen Anne classic!

Yelp
5 Stars for 5 Spot!! This has always been one of our favorites on Queen Anne Hill! The food has remained great even through a change of ownership transition! I have to say the employees are so friendly and sweet. One employee in particular has made our visit priceless every time we go there! Delmer greets us at the door, helps us decide if we're not quite sure what we want, makes sure we love what we ordered and is also a bartender! We always love the drinks Delmer makes! He is such an amazing ambassador for 5 Spot. We love to go there and see his amazing smile! Wil is also so friendly, nice and helpful. He has been our waiter in the past and we really like him too. He comes and says hi even if he's not our waiter! So friendly! Five Spot will do very well with their tasty food and amazing employees!

Yelp
I arrived excited and left disappointed. Food was okay, but it did not taste freshly made. The food came out almost immediately after we ordered, but somehow everything was lukewarm. The hash browns were stale. The English muffin for the benedict was soggy and also kinda stale. The ham was sliced nice and thin. The lobster was fairly portioned and tender, but mostly flavorless. Also, my arugula salad tasted like they dumped an entire salt shaker into it. The fruit cup was nice and contained a variety or berries, pineapple, and melon. The coffee was decent. No one greeted us when we walked in. We sat ourselves and had to get our own menus and place settings. Our server didn't refill coffees or check on us at all after we got our food. He did, however, offer to get me a new salad when I mentioned mine was inedible. Parking along the street was easy because we came while people were working or in school.

Yelp
Was looking for a nice spot for breakfast while in Seattle. There isn't as many I could find around but this spot was the it to go. First, the service here is very friendly and accommodating. Nice space for seating. Had the chicken and waffles and must say it was good. Was not bad in taste and chicken still was juicy in the inside. Also, was able to try the lobster Benedict. It was was a good portion plate and lots of flavor. Overall, good spot to go for seeking a good sit down place. Nice options to choose from.

Yelp
There was no wait for a table of 4 during lunch hours on a Saturday. The service was extremely friendly and the food came out quick. TLDR: I loved the sides of spicy red jacket potatoes and sourdough toast the most. I'm excited to come back again and would definitely recommend to my friends! Here is everything I tried: California Benedict ($19) - English muffin topped with avocado, bacon, sliced tomato, spinach, hollandaise sauce, and fresh herbs. Served with hashbrowns or spicy red jacket potatoes AND toast. The potatoes were well seasoned and not too mushy or crispy. The sourdough toast was surprisingly good with the salted butter. Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs ($19) - Chicken fried steak with country sausage gravy. Served with two eggs, hashbrowns or spicy red jacket potatoes, AND biscuits or toast. Breakfast Burrito ($16) - Three eggs, spicy red jacket potatoes, bell peppers, onions, pepper jack cheese, your choice of bacon, ham, sausage, veggie sausage, chorizo. Topped with salsa verde and sour cream. Generous portion. Doesn't come with any sides sadly. Huevos Rancheros ($16) - Two corn tortillas loaded with black bean chili beef, two sunny side eggs, and spicy red jacket potatoes. Topped with salsa verde and sour cream, cheddar, and pepper jack cheese. This is for those that love saucey foods. Doesn't come with any sides sadly. French Toast ($14) - Got this to-go and it came out hot and quick! It was topped with strawberries + blueberries and came with a side of syrup. Generous portion for the price.

Yelp
Came in randomly and everything we ordered was a HIT! Their chicken and waffles, that chicken was SEASONED perfectly! Waffle crispy and delicious Salmon Benedict had SOOOO much salmon on it. Hollandaise sauce was decent but overall the meal was VERY SOLID! hashbrowns were good and crispy! Tea was piping hot! Service was fast, food came even quicker and check out was a breeze!

Yelp
It had been years since I had visited 5 Spot, and I truly don't know what took me so long to return. This place has absolutely incredible food, and the atmosphere is so charming. The service is so fantastic and the food came out so quickly. I really loved that they have an online waitlist so you're able to wait for a table before you've arrived at the restaurant. I cannot wait to come back sometime soon and try more of their extensive menu!
google avatar

Vanessa R.

Yelp
I can't believe this was my first time trying this place! I will definitely be returning. It had a very cozy seattle vibe, as well as options to watch sports games if you wanted to sit at the bar with a cocktail and eat your breakfast during football sunday. The food was delicious, the service was fast, and our server/ bartender made us laugh the entire time. Lots of seating so I bet you wouldn't experience the worst wait either without a reservation!

Yelp
Sérgio was busy running the restaurant when we arrived. We both had salads before our entrees, and the food was ready right as we finished the salads, which I thought was pretty impressive. The food was very fresh and perfectly cooked. I noticed that they didn't overwhelm the plate with potatoes, which was very smart, as they tend to be filling. I could tell that they had been made from scratch which I absolutely love. The perfect portions really helped me with my portion control, since I am actually trying to lose weight. At the end Sergio apologized for the delay, as he was the only person running the place, but we were not in a hurry and had the chance to catch up on our own conversation. We will definitely be back. The place is filled with awesome artwork and kept very clean. This is a very ideal diner.

Yelp
A few easy steps to start your day off right. Step 1: Go to the 5 spot Step 2: Order a Mimosa Step 3 Order country fried steak Step 4: Eat and enjoy whatever you ordered Step 5: Leave the 5 spot a spectacular review and share with others. This is a fantastic place. The decor is fun with lots of character, and the staff is attentive and on the "spot" 5 stars all the way. Huge portions, well priced, and fantastically flavored

Yelp
Nikki was amazing. Provided excellent service and seated us so promptly. Very attentive to us, never a second she was not checking on us seeing if we needed more water, coffee and to see if we were enjoying our food. I love the ambiance of the place, music was so cute playing and I love how they have people spread out unlike some places I feel like they cram people together and you can basically hear another's conversation clearly when trying to enjoy your food. Thank you so much Nikki for making our anniversary breakfast experience so wonderful! Such a great start to the day.

Yelp
Found this SPOT through Yelp while looking for breakfast, got seated right away before the rush of people came. Sat at the bar to watch the chefs at work, kinda cool to see them multitasking and working together. Reminded me of the show, the Bear. Waiter suggested corned beef hash and it was perfect! Came with bread, butter, 2 poached eggs, perfectly cooked potatoes and actually used real corned beef. Would come back to try different items Street parking only.

Yelp
After its closure during Covid I was so excited to see that the 5 Spot had reopened! I thought it was gone for good. While I was disappointed they no longer have their famous salmon scramble on the menu (it was so delicious I had to go home and recreate it and do so frequently) I was pleasantly surprised by the lobster Benedict! Absolutely delicious! And our server was wonderful! He was so attentive and friendly. It just added to the experience. We are looking forward to our next trip to Seattle so we can stop in again!

Yelp
Always a favorite. Today we had Sergio as a server. Nice guy. Thank you for the coffee!!

Yelp
I'm giving a solid 3.5 stars because this spot is so charming! It's giving vintage vibes and a cozy chill out space. I loved the local art work on the walls and the staff were kind. We don't usually come to this area but it was the perfect brunch spot while we were there over the weekend. Husband did not care for his chicken fried steak as it was like a patty. Like one large chicken nugget lol. He did like the gravy, and loved the hash browns. As did I. Those babies were crispy! I got the Goat in the Garden... great name. It was good but very simple and I did have to add Tobasco for more flavor. I would return to try other menu items because I like the simplicity.
google avatar

Cody D.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast and we were not disappointed. Solid breakfast menu. My chicken fried steak was really good and the potatoes were delicious. My wife had the "griddle" cakes. Maybe it's a Seattle thing, because they were pancakes. If you come here, know they don't accept cash. You have to pay with a card.

Yelp
We are in town watching a concert and found this place close to the place we are staying. The best diner I've been to in 20 years hands down. The food is perfect, the waiter was fantastic. We will be back!

Yelp
Overall: 3.5 stars Food: 3 stars Service: 4.5 stars Value: 3.5 stars Ambiance/etc: 4 stars Will I go back? Probably not In Seattle w the family and tried to find a decent breakfast spot. Found this place with a good chunk of reviews, and decided: "why not?" Breakfast foods were good but a couple misses. Food: Family of three ordered huevos rancheros, chicken fried steak and chicken & waffles. Cinnamon buns are a family fave so we ordered those as well. Since we were eating a late breakfast and planned on eating next late, two of us ordered shakes also. First the good: chicken fried steak and huevos rancheros was very good. Chicken & waffles were good. But cinnamon buns were not good, shakes were not good, and coffee was not good. Hence the 3 score on food. Service: Service was good. Place was fairly empty, but the servers were attentive without being intrusive. Kept thr coffee flowing and offered helpful suggestions. Only knock (and minor one at that ) was our server's estimate at the size of the cinnamon roll. He indicated it was small, so we ordered 2. Even without the disappointment at how it turned out, we could have easily shared the one. Value Prices were not bad. Not sure the local standard but I wasn't disappointed. Portion sizes were good. Ambiance etc I really don't care about decor, except that if tables are too close. This place was well laid out. No complaints. Will I go back? Probably not as I'm. It a Seattle native. But if I was, I may want to come back and try lunch/dinner.

Caitie G.

Yelp
Oh my god incredible!!!! Nicki was a great server. Food was so delicious and the mimosas were 10/10. It was a perfect brunch spot. Great decor and lighting. 10/10 will come here again.

Yelp
5 spot has a lot of seating and pretty good breakfast food! I like their cheery interior and the rotating themes for the menu. We didn't get their themed stuff this time but had some of their regular items. I got the sonoran scramble, some of my brunch buddies got the goat in the garden, and we shared some french toast. The french toast was pretty solid, and I really liked my sonoran scramble! They have some hot sauce options on the table to choose from, too, which is good because I like hot sauce on my eggs. The one thing that I wasn't a huge fan of was the flavored mimosas...they're reaaaally sweet which is just not to my taste. It might be good for others, though!
google avatar

Tripti B.

Yelp
I have been to this place twice, once for breakfast and one during lunch. The ambiance is very comforting and has a neighborhood diner feel. The food is reasonably priced and made well. Service both times was good. I recommend this place if you're in the mood for some good grub in a relaxed atmosphere

Yelp
Note: 5 Spot reopened under new ownership, Arista Catering. Yay for reopening an iconic anchor up on Queen Anne! I had been going to 5 Spot under the previous Chow Foods group since the get go when I was a Queen Anne resident many moons ago. Remember when 5 Spot, Hi-Life, Endolyne Joe's, Atlas Foods, and Coastal Kitchen were all under one united Chow Foods? This was well before the days of Yelp, IG and social media platforms. You wanted hardy food, regional themed eats, three squares and a late night meetup, plus terrific ROI / bang for your buck? This was your happy place. Content nostalgic sigh. Then came the darn pandemic, shut-downs, supply chain issues, ad naseum which sadly the original 5 Spot succumbed to. Well kudos to Arista Catering for resurrecting 5 Spot and they are currently finding their own identity and stride. Street parking available - just pay attention to zoned areas. Same bright interior with various seating configurations and full bar. Very pleasant host and waitstaff plus efficient kitchen crew. I visited mid morning weekdays for breakfast fare during my two visits on 8/1/22 (two top by entrance) and 8/23/22 (two top in bar area). I was seated immediately and received my meals in a reasonable amount of time after orders placed. This post does not comment about weekend visits or for lunch. Currently, they're offering both breakfast and lunch with a nice menu variety that's bound to please just about everyone. Breakfast on 8/1/22 was two pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon. Decent, but definitely doesn't hold a candle to OG Kathryn's Grand Slam. This had been my gold standard for decades. Breakfast on 8/23/22 was the Ham Scram with hash browns and biscuit. This was much better - generous savory ham cubes with fluffy scrambled eggs with melty cheddar cheese. The hash browns had a crisp exterior and tender interior, not greasy a plus! Biscuit looked unassuming. But once opened, I really liked the soft interior crumb, tasty! Served without any butter pats or freezer jam or jam packets. Upon request, I received a plummy jammy confection but it wasn't really spreadable. After watching several cinnamon rolls come through the expeditor station, I added one to go. Nice to see onsite baked goods. Overall - it's a three, but upped to a four for the FOH/BOH staff. Very welcoming, friendly, and efficient for both visits. Very pleased to see 5 Spot return and wishing Arista Catering all the best to keep it sustained.

Yelp
5 Spot always delivers! Super dependable diner style experience with great food and excellent service. Love the goat in the garden breakfast and their Reuben is really good for lunch. Always feel very welcome and never rushed, though they're super fast. Favorite spot.

Yelp
Sergio was so very friendly! food was great, enjoyed getting a booth too! so happy 5spot is open for dinner once again

Yelp
OMG, love this place. The breakfast is so good. I had the biscuits and gravy with an egg on top, my husband had the eggs Benedict. They were both delicious. Service was great. Very spacious restaurant so you don't feel like you're eating on top of the people at the table next to you. We went while waiting for jeans to be hemmed at Blue Owl (also highly recommend) and were so glad we found it! We live in Monroe, but will definitely make the drive just to visit it again!

Yelp
Wonderfully easy and unpretentious spot with a great vibe and greater food. Big portions. Low prices. Kind staff. Easy choice in Queen Anne. It has 1.5k great reviews for a reason. Get the spicy red jacket potatoes with whatever else you order and a cinnamon roll on the side. Sheesh. So good.

Michelle B.

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast and so convenient! Yummy food for breakfast and lunch. I only wish it was open for dinner! Kudos to Kenny for wonderful service!

Yelp
Nicky was awesome. Chowder was tasty. Service was quick - diner style but has a bar. Good Bloody Mary. If ever back will definitely come back

Yelp
5 Spot, had been a favorite place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. When we go to 5 Spot, we are always among friends. Good food, great people and they are always happy to see a neighbor walk in the door.

Yelp
SO HAPPY THEY ARE BACK OPEN!!! I was so sad when they closed over Covid, and was listed on google as "permanently closed"... So happy they were able to revive the place and reopen! I stopped in for some takeout and there was a huge waitlist, about 20-30 mins with people waiting outside. They set up a complimentary coffee station for everyone waiting, which was so nice!! Always worth the wait, this place is one of my favorites for brunch. We ordered Chicken Fried Steak with Hash Browns and a Biscuit, and the Eggs Benedict on a Biscuit with Spicy Potatoes. Definitely recommend if you've never had eggs benny on a biscuit - it's absolutely amazing!! Will be back for lunch or dinner menu as well.

Allen W.

Yelp
Although the food was good, the service wasn't. I had to wave down a staff to order and later to pay. I ordered Eggs Benedict, which were good, but served on a very cold plate, so rapidly congealed. My prior times there were very similar.
google avatar

Andrew G.

Yelp
Food, meh. Service, meh. Drinks, meh. Free coffee outside, you betcha. Was charged $2 a pop for bloody mary garnishes. Server brought our check tableside on the iPad usually trust that they have everything put in correctly. Didn't realize until after checking my email that they charged for garnishes even though they never gave a selection of garnishes to begin with. Odd practice. Thoughts?
google avatar

Nicole Y.

Yelp
This place is so incredibly overpriced for a diner. I spend over $50 for an egg scramble, an orange juice, a tea bag, and a $5 cinnamon roll. Not including the tip. Not only that, but the huge cinnamon roll could have been delicious had it of come with frosting on it. Instead it was completely dried out and basically just a huge bread roll with a little Carmel drizzled on top. I threw the whole thing away. A wAste of dough, in my opinion. The service was okay. Our server was incredibly high strung. Might have just been an off day, but you could definitely feel his stress in the restaurant. There are many diners I would suggest over this one. Overall there are better options, for less money.
google avatar

Tami B.

Yelp
Food was yummy. We had pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns and a biscuit. All of it was good but the eggs and hash browns would have been great if they were cooked a tad bit longer. Still the hasbrowns had amazing flavor and were golden & crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just like they should be. Ambiance was great. Loud and noisy and full of laughter and happy vibes. I love a loud breakfast place so you're free to talk and hang out without feeling like you're interrupting the folks next to you. Good strong coffee and awesome service. Wait was minimal. Food came fairly quickly and we were tended to often but not too much interruption. Overall it has a great neighborhood feel and solid breakfast options.
google avatar

Rena Y.

Yelp
Me and my friend got seated pretty quickly. He ordered the classic breakfeast and I ordered the California Benedict. The food is a solid three star not really crazy , wouldn't go out of my way to come here. Some staffs were very nice so I don't want to say everyone was rude but basically I got ignored a couple times but since they were busy that's understandable. They don't do split pay and when my friend asked about it the employee was just kind of had a sassy remark that made my friend feel uncomfortable. As he was telling me this encounter, a different employee came up to us and said " I don't want to be rude but people are waiting so can you please leave".
google avatar

Elizabeth M.

Yelp
Great diner with excellent service. Came for brunch and the food was solid American diner type of food. Inside they have TVs and were playing football games on Sunday I got the chilaquiles. I would rate it a 3.5/5 because I wanted more chips to go with it. I would definitely come back again to try more of there menu!!

Yelp
We were excited to try the Oktoberfest menu, but they still have some kinks to work out. We told them we'd be a party of 3 and were taken to a 2 top, and the host acted like we'd inconvenienced them when we pointed out that the table would not be large enough for our party. You have to ask for a drink menu, and when we got it 2/3 of the draft beers were crossed out. We asked for German potato salad with our bratwurst platter, but got mashed potatoes instead. When we pointed out the error, we were given a separate side of the potato salad, but both turned out to be totally flavorless. Our vegan friend ordered the vegan cheeseburger and was given a choice of fries, tots, or salad as her side, but the salad they brought her had real cheese on it. The bratwurst with sauerkraut was good, but smaller than expected for $17 and you have to ask for mustard. The pimento-stuffed pretzels with beer cheese sauce were pretty good, also. It just seemed like a lot of issues for a single visit, though. We're definitely not in any huge rush to return, but we live close by and will prob give it another shot eventually. Maybe by the next special menu things will be running more smoothly.

Yelp
I'm writing a review because I'm pretty unhappy with what I received from the 5 spot. It's 's been more than 20 years since I've been here and I went to the website and it clearly says that they offer Red Flannel hash, but upon arriving they don't even have it on the menu! Which was very disappointing because I traveled more than 15 miles to visit this restaurant. And then to get my order and have the portions considerably smaller as they used to be. I'm also not to happy with seeing the line Cooks eating while they're cooking. That's completely unacceptable. I will not be back.
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
I heard this place is under new ownership who come from a catering company and it shows. Food comes out quickly, because I think most of the food is made in advance and warmed. Pancakes are rubbery. Bacon was clumped together like it was thrown into a sheet pan and sat in an oven, not crisp at all. The toast comes out like it only went through the cheap hotel conveyer belt toaster once. Everyone knows you have to run the toast through the cheap hotel conveyer belt toaster at least twice! It's browned but not at all toasty. Coffee is hot and incredibly weak. If you want to pay for a decent quality hotel breakfast that is complimentary at the hotel you're staying at, this is the place for you. Also, there were a ton of booths open but we were brought to a tiny two top. Thinking they may have been saving the booths for larger parties, we didn't say anything but noticed they ended up seating parties of two in booths that came in after us. I also feel like food marketing should never include the word "surprise."

Yelp
Nikki was AMAZING ...great service .. Food is Amazing ....can't wait to come back !!!!!!!!

Yelp
100% improvement over the first few times we visited after the reopen! The food is much improved, lunch salads and wraps are excellent, and the basic breakfast is great. Service can be spotty depending on where you sit. Bar area is very whatever and somewhat disorganized, but we had great service in the dining room. We will be back for sure. If you stopped by a few months ago, definitely give it another try for a good solid diner experience.

Allison C.

Yelp
Visited Seattle and stopped by this cute diner spot for brunch! Food was incredible!! We were a large group seated quickly and service was very prompt as well even though it was very busy. I had the eggs Benedict on biscuits and hash browns which were some of the best I ever had! The hash browns were perfect and were just what I needed. We got mimosa pitchers and both were very good! Would 100% recommend stopping by it's the perfect diner to grab a classic breakfast at!

Yelp
Great spot for a casual Sunday brunch. Would highly recommend any skillet on the menu and make sure you try the biscuits! Great environment and great staff too.

Yelp
The happy hour and evening staff, especially Sergio and Will are a one of a kind experience! 10/10!

Yelp
Absolutely my favorite brunch spot in Queen Anne! Had the Sonoran Scramble with a mimosa. Couldn't resist adding a cinnamon roll on and so glad I did, it came out absolutely perfect and not overly sweet. The scramble was great and the potatoes with it were cooked to perfection. The waiters were also very quick and kept the water coming. Will be back here and reccommend to many many friends.

Yelp
Absolutely delightful food!! It has become our favorite diner, our 8 year old asks to go all the time. The service, food, everything about the ambiance just reminds you of your small town diner with big flavor!

Yelp
Super good breakfast this morning! I had the Eggs Benedict, my bf had the chicken and waffles. Fast and friendly service, delicious food, plus they are open at 7 am. Business looked a little sparse, and I know they were closed for a while during the pandemic, so I hope folks come back and support this place. As some of the reviews noted, the 5 Spot is under new ownership, and the vibe and decor have changed a bit from the old days. But the new owners seem to be nailing the food and service, which are what matter the most.
