5 Swiss Hotel

We were only here for brunch, so I can’t say much about the hotel itself. However, the brunch alone was already a very pleasant experience. Beautiful place, excellent food, good coffee, and very friendly staff, with fairly quick service as well. Afterwards, we had a look at the rooms, which also made a very good impression. I think that next time I’m in Rwanda, I will definitely consider this hotel and stay here for a few nights.

One of the most underrated places in Kigali! Located central, a few walking minutes only from downtown if is a beautiful oasis of peace in a chaotic city center. Only via social media it raised my attention and I think that most people don't consider this budget friendly, yet amazing hotel. They have a restaurant with a beautiful garden aswell, and the prices were very fine as of December 25. The rooms could be modernised a bit but I can really recommend this place for someone who seeks a quiet, familiar place near downtown.

We had a great stay at the % Swiss Hotel. The staff is fantastic and accommodating, the rooms are extremely clean. Breakfast and food at the restaurant is very good and comes directly from the farm. Its location is very central and the whole Kigali is very safe, even for a woman to walk around alone day or night. We will certainly consider staying at the 5 Swiss Hotel

Our stay at the 5 Swiss Hotel was great. The staff if very accommodating, the rooms are extremely clean, the breakfast is rather good and the food at the restaurant if also very good.|We traveled to Kigali for work and we will certainly consider staying at the 5 Swiss Hotel next time!

The hotel offers friendly environment to guests. The staff are very supportive. and acre about them. It is very clean and well organized. Its location is excellent. Internet connection is satisfactory.

I stayed at the 5 Swiss Hotel for two weeks and it was great. We were at a walking distance to the university (around 20 minutes walking). My room was spacious and very clean, the balcony very nice. We had dinner there almost every night and the food was great. Definitely recommend it for a longer stay.

Didn’t stay here, but came for dinner which was excellent - Filet Mignon dish is the menu highlight. It was to comparable to the US regards meat quality but was differently prepared. It was a pleasant surprise. Good Rwandan version I figured. Well done. Service was super nice

This was a last minute booking through Booking.com and confirmed just for one night on the way flying home. On arrival, they had no record but they did have spare rooms (low season) fortunately. The service was friendly and the rooms were very clean and comfortable (if a little small). The outside bar and restaurant in the garden was great (particularly for a city centre location) and the food was good. Great location if you want to be close to the centre of Kigali (walking distance). Possibly slightly expensive when compared to others, but this may be the central location. Overall it was a perfectly acceptable stay.
