Love Harmony Coffee! It's a cute little coffee shop tucked into an alley of Northeast. It gives off very industrial vibes. They have a record player always playing tunes. There's not a ton of seating, only a couple of full tables and few smaller tables and stools scattered about. They also have a few tables outside! Their matcha is top tier, I switch between getting a matcha latte and a yuzu matcha tonic - both are delicious. The staff are friendly and the service is quick! This place is pretty unique because it also turns into a wine bar 3 days a night. They serve delicious cocktails, wines, and smaller bites at night.

I could think I was in Seattle with this subtle coffee bar on a sub level of what probably should be an historic building. Most impressive was the vinyl collection behind the bar in matching cabinets completing the theme. The music sounded great and that's why there are so many vinyl fans. A cross of blues infuzed jazz west coast new wave. I checked for a wall menu but there is no clutter as I was handed a wrinkled paper menu. Seeing Wild Blueberry bagel I had to try. The coffee light roast was one of the better I've sampled. It was more like a medium roast elsewhere. There was a wait for the bagel as it arrived thick and well toasted. Cream cheese, regular cheese smothered in wild blueberries was a new creative creation. There were other bagel types on the menu. The other reviews are correct about the vibe etc., it has the spartan feel that would not work elsewhere, with matching wood beams, hardwood floor tables and cabinets of what appears to be real wood. Yes, it's not warm and fuzzy but not rude or indifferent either. A few tables outside before we walk into the alley.

We were really excited to try this place and the interior is super modern & cool, but the service was very lackluster. I'm not sure if the barista was having an off day, but she wasn't friendly. They don't have decaf and they don't serve any food on Sundays (unless it was just today?) The coffee was fine. Not a place I'd quickly rerun to.

What a unique little cafe! Hidden around the corner with an entrance near the alley, Harmony is a great spot if you're looking for something off the beaten path and tucked away. I met someone for a meeting here, so arrived early to grab a spot - there are a few tables and chairs, and then some tables along the walls where there are benches for seats. Most of the furniture is simple wood, which makes for a very clean and neutral aesthetic, but may not be comfortable for sitting longer periods. The space itself is very simple - concrete and wood with no art or distractions. This felt a bit cold to me, but it's a very sleek simplistic look that may be ideal for folks looking to work or create free of environmental distractions. I loved that they had records playing - and when I was in, I loved the selection. I ordered a matcha tonic, and while it wasn't quite for me, it may be for others. I'd definitely like to return and try something else on the menu. The menu and set up is pretty straight forward, and the staff was friendly enough. I'd say this space tends to be on the quieter side, though when I visited there was another table talking so my meeting guest and I didn't feel quite so awkward talking. I'd lean more towards working remote alone here rather than meeting up to chat with colleagues or friends. I'll be back to try something else on the menu and work remote, which seems like a better fit for this space!

In one word I would describe the aesthetic as minimalistic. To a noticeable degree in fact- it can even be a little tricky finding the entrance to the café. The menu is also quite limited, which is not a bad thing, but again- key word is minimal. I got an iced vanilla(?) latte- which was solid. Limited seating for sure, but very vibey!

This cafe has such good vibes! Loved the music, industrial feel, and simple menu. I enjoyed my vanilla latte and the masala chai was pretty good too. It's a small-ish place. Metered parking outside or free neighborhood parking 1+ block away.

This place has a cool minimalistic/brutalist vibe. Lots of concrete and wood. The seating and tables are pretty limited and small though so studying here for a few hours wasn't the most comfortable experience. I'd come here again to chat with a friend for a bit. The space is a little below street level and the windows let in a nice amount of sunlight. My chai latte was good, nothing crazy, but the bagel menu looked really cool. I just didn't feel like dropping $15 on a bagel that day. It's a cool space with cool bagels that I'd like to try next time.

One of the best coffee shops l've been to in a while! The parking is difficult and the space is small but spots open up quickly. I really like how the matcha is made and I enjoyed the sumo mandarin bagel. The barista was also very friendly and let me know in advance if I had to wait for anything

Ordered a caramel macchiato. Overall good coffee. Not much choice of flavorings if you're looking to add more to your drink. But the coffee as is is good. Urban and modern look to the cafe. Very relaxing with good records playing in the cafe. Easy going coffee shop. Would recommend

I had high hopes for this trendy coffee shop in near Northeast. They have a great location, but visibility is challenging because the entrance is in the alley. I've posted pictures of their entry for the next Yelper. It's an industrial, minimalist vibe here in a partially submerged bunker. The staff was friendly and although the place is small, when we arrived at 8:30 we had the place to ourselves. The thing that put me off was the coffee. I prefer a less acidic, umami brew and they just didn't have it. I asked for half and half - they don't carry it! Oatmilk or milk. Weird. Also the only sweetener in the bins was sugar in the raw. Ok, I get that some people think artificial sweeteners are bad- fine - but don't enforce your opinion on me and expect a decent review or a return customer.

Really great new shop. Loved the ambiance especially - cozy for being surrounded by concrete. Reminded me of a Japanese Izakaya. Loved the vinyls on rotation. Brings a slowness of pace which is needed in the city. I had a great americano!

Ok what a cool little coffee shop in NE. It's a very minimalist concept but the vibes were . I'm normally a big light person and it got a bit dark in here in the afternoon, but it was fitting for the atmosphere of this place so I didn't mind too much. The music is played from records so the barista was changing out the albums the whole time. My matcha was really good. It came to like $9 so not super cheap, but I do enjoy a good homemade drink :) Metered street parking around unless you walk across the bridge for the free parking in the neighborhood.

My husband and I went to the herbivorous butcher for lunch and He wanted a coffee after so he ran into Harmony. He texted me "do you want a weird tomato drink?" Of course I do! It was delicious, actually! Their "seasonal shrub drink" that had tomato and yuzu.

When only one person is working I know it isn't the best to order a pour over. However, I came specifically for a Dak pour over. It wasn't overly busy, just one person after another and the 1 employee kept taking and making other orders. When I pay $9 for a specialty pour over I expect attention to detail, not constantly walking away from my brew for minutes at a time. It was 30 minutes to get my pour over!!! The barista was super friendly, but let's just admit sugar and milk cover up espresso errors and you should make drinks in order regardless. For the owner, at least get a NextLevel Pulsar brewer so your baristas can walk away from the single cup brew and tend other drinks instead of having them serve over extracted V60 pour overs.

love everything about this neighborhood place but have had a standoffish barista my past few visits :,( because of this, i feel less compelled/comfortable to return, but i enjoy the atmosphere, music, and delicious coffee nonetheless.

Super unique coffee shop in the heart of NE. Incredible, friendly staff and a totally laid-back environment. This spot has a high emphasis on music, and it seems the barista squad has control over the turntables, utilizing the wall of vinyls behind the bar. The vibe is super minimalist and industrial, and this is reflected in the selection of beverages and pastries. Don't expect your vanilla syrup or flavorings. Just pure, unadulterated coffee. I believe their milk selections are limited to whole and oat. My whole milk cortado was perfect balanced, with the right amount of acidity. Just a heads up, there are no outlets. If you are hoping to work here all day, just make sure you have a full charge. Otherwise, bring a book or a friend and enjoy the vibes.

This shop was awesome. The industrial minimalist feel to this place was a real vibeeee. It's nestled into an alley right off the street and is a perfect place to stop and grab a latte with a friend. Being that it is a small shop, I would keep the company to a few. Easy place to stop and do a little work, but they do NOT have charging outlets so make sure to charge up those devices. Even though they were understaffed, the barista was quick and good with communication. He even gave me a discount for a longer than usual wait. I'll def come back.

Unique minimalist coffee shop. I have not yet seen anything like this in Mn. I really enjoyed my latte it was well balanced and smooth. The menu is very minimal and they do not have flavored syrups if that's what you like in your coffee. Totally recommend checking this place out!

Super minimalist interior but they make up for it in nice baristas and incredibly well designed sound system. Didn't try any of the pastries, there were only four options so bring a snack to avoid the jitters. Seating was also minimal, so much so they kept it minimal on chair and table leg height at a lot of the tables. Coffee was nothing less than great, pretty sure it was espresso from Amsterdam. Parking is iffy but doable if you can walk and find the tiny coffee sign out front.

This place is so zen. It's like entering a meditation room. They have a wall filled with vinyl records and a vinyl player. The music they play is so soothing and the surround sound makes it truly peaceful. The space is small and minimalistic. I'd bring my journal or something to work on because it can also be a productive space. The menu itself is pretty simple. I got a matcha latte with oat milk and it was fine. The service was great- the barista made my drink with whole milk first and he fixed it right away:

A high-end turntable and vintage vibes are the trademark of this chic industrial-modern, small coffee shop. Like the decor, the slate of offerings is also minimal with the focus on the coffee. Folks are friendly, the look is trendy. Parking is meters on the street. Walking into this semi-basement environs you'll feel like you're in NYC! Might not be your cup of tea, but worth checking out. Maybe it's exactly what you're looking for...

I live right across the street and this place has potential to be great, but to me it falls short. I've had poor service the 2 times I've been here and know others who have had similar experiences. The coffee is fine, but other options in the area (dogwood, five watt) have the same if not better options with WAY better seating and atmosphere.

Really a stellar cup of coffee. Super laid back vibe in an industrial chic space. Big enough that you might get lucky and snag a table, but small enough (and combined with its alluring alleyway entrance) that it feels like a hideaway reserved for coffee drinkers in-the-know.

Super cool, quaint, unique atmosphere, and friendly workers! Espresso has a different taste but my americano was still enjoyable!
