"Sunday Brunch at a Chef's Table in Brussels Brussels is a city filled with fabulous dining experiences, but for brunch aficionados, the options are sparse. Enter Chef Alex Weston, who runs the popular catering company, La Britannique. Chef Alex has revamped the French table d'hote (or host's table) concept, for Sunday Brunch lovers. Each week he welcomes a handful of lucky guests into his home, to dine on a multi-course menu of international goodies. The Sunday we attended the offerings included: pumpkin filled pastries (pictured), poached eggs with iberico-wrapped chicory, pistachio and pomegranate pilaf with shredded chicken, and a casserole of roasted Mediterranean vegetables. Oh, and dessert, and drinks, all for a reasonable suggested donation. A steal. It's a great way to meet locals and travellers alike. And you get to watch a chef in action. Reservations are mandatory."

Really fantastic restaurant experience! The food was original and really delicious (we licked the plate clean!) and the service was extremely friendly and charming, in a family-like relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a chilled, informal, al fresco, yummy meal :)

Very good home cooked italian food. The wine an desserts were also great! Go when the weather is nice, so you can enjoy the garden!

Fresh ingredients, friendly and welcoming staff, cute place but small portions, slow service, very limited menu options, high prices. Vitello tonnato (as one of the just three mains on the menu!) 20 euros, average taste. Pizza bianca with pancetta and puntarelle: one of the three starters on the menu was essentially a sandwich at 14 euros!

A super friendly familial restaurant. The chef Alessio cooks with love and gusto and this is shown in the tastes. Don't be fooled by the outside look, once you're in the restaurant, this cosy place, the friendly service and the food will win you over. Will definitely try to go back!

Overrated and overpriced place. Very average food by Italian standards and our own home standards. Nice terrace and lovely staff but still a disappointment, especially as it was recently described in the press as one of Brussels' best summer terraces.

As the name suggests it's a kind of hidden place and it may be awkward to ring a house doorbell to get in but is definitely worth the little effort. As authentic Italian as it can be and really good. Glad to have been there Alessio. See you soon.

Delicious, cozy, and kind and efficient service! A perfect location for dates of dinner with friends or family. We can only recommend it here.

Delicious food and impeccable service. Very attentive and kind, all for a more than reasonable price. I look forward to going back.
