My Bookclub and I went to the Level Four restaurant for their afternoon tea. I can recommend this. It was set up in a buffet style, which we appreciated as we could indulge in more savory than sweet treats. All the dishes were lovely and the two different teas an experience. We came back for this afternoon tea after at least seven years and were not disappointed. We might come back sooner the next time.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at 54 on Bath in Johannesburg, en route to Kruger National Park, and were thoroughly impressed. The hotel is elegant and beautifully maintained, with a refined atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a relaxing experience. Located in the upscale suburb of Rosebank, the property offers convenient access to shops in the attached mall, though we were advised that walking around on the street may not be ideal for Western tourists. That said, the area felt clean and well-kept. Our room was spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and offered a lovely view of the pool. We especially enjoyed evening cocktails at the Hendrick’s Gin Bar on the 4th floor, an oasis of calm with stylish decor and a serene vibe. Dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was a highlight: gourmet cuisine paired with impeccable service. The porter staff were prompt and courteous, rounding out a seamless experience. It is highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, sophistication, and attentive hospitality in Johannesburg.

I’ve stayed here four times while working in Johannesburg, and it truly feels like a home away from home. The staff are warm and welcoming, the rooms luxurious and spotless, and the restaurant consistently excellent. Attended a two day conference. The venue was great, the food was delicious. I liked that they catered for all meals, breakfast, lunch and two tea breaks.

The hotel is superbly located inside a shopping center with many shops and restaurants.||The hotel has a British style with a friendly staff and a pianist during check-in.||I stayed in a very comfortable suite with a bedroom and living room. The shower was a bit cramped, but the bathtub was delightful.||Breakfast is delicious.

We had a one day stop over in Jburg and stayed at 54 on bath. This hotel is well located in Rosebank district. Directly linked to the shopping mall and 5 min walk to the restaurants. Around 30 min transfer to the airport. This is a very good hotel - roof top bar and gin bar!! Breakfast was excellent. Staff were all excellent and check in and check out very easy. The city hop on and hop off bus 5 min walk ( we did not use it as only there for 1 day)

I had a great stay here for my birthday, the breakfast was amazing but room service was quite slow. Great ambiance and I would recommend to any couple celebrating a special occasion. I will be back.

The location is in the heart of JHB with the building as originally built with modernizations made to it. The rooms as structure is struggling to keep with modern standards and tried it's best to adapt. The staff help where they can but there is no smiles, you can feel the tension and cold nature. Food has not blown me away as something I have to go back for.
