54 on Bath

My wife and I spent 9 nights at the hotel from 17/5 to 26/5/2025. The staff are an example to all hotels around the world. Nothing was too much trouble for them, kind, efficient and proud to be a part of the hotel team. From April at the front door as we arrived to Penny, Ivy and the team in the restaurant, all team members should be congratulated. The room was spotless, the food was first class and the service was excellent. I would recommend 54 on Bath to anyone travelling the Johannesburg.

I had a wonderful stay at 54 on Bath. The hotel graciously upgraded me to a suite with a great view of central Johannesburg. The suite had a huge sitting area and enormous bathroom. I highly recommend the breakfast, with fruit, pastries, and cooked to order items. The hotel is in a great area with many restaurants and bars and a nice mall and very close to Gautrain. The staff were very attentive and kind. Thank you 54 on Bath.

Our tour group spent a night at 54 on Bath in June '25. The hotel is fabulous. Unfortunately, my sister had a medical emergency the morning we were leaving and the hotel staff was so helpful and caring. We had to stay another 2 nights and the hotel was very accommodating and the staff made sure we had whatever we needed and were always checking on us to make sure we were OK. Not enough words to describe how great they were!!

This hotel was chosen for us by Trailfinders for an overnight stop before flying to our next stop. We weren't sure what to expect but it was a lovely stay. Great rooms, comfy beds, helpful staff and the best breakfast of our entire African trip by a mile!|Jo'burg wouldn't be my choice for a vacation, but if you need to stay somewhere safe come here.

What a welcome! Superb staff and customer service. Rooms available early which is amazing for the weary traveller ||The public spaces are beautiful but it gets better insight the room - so comfortable and spacious||Lots of amenities available and room service was quick and delicious as was breakfast ||All round delightful experience ||If I’m ever in Johannesburg again, I will absolutely return!

It was a lovely experience overall. However, if you have Sun Rands, be sure to remind yourself to mention them before paying—because once you forget, the waitstaff usually won’t bring it up during the payment process. The frustrating part is that they often can’t assist you afterward, which is honestly their biggest shortcoming.

From the minute of our late arrival to this beautiful hotel, every single staff person was so incredibly helpful and kind to us. From taking our bag, getting us water, to providing us the best service at the bar ever (shout out to Lindo for his hospitality and warm company), we absolutely enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. It was very conveniently located as well and their restaurant was great too.

54 on Bath is my favourite hotel in Jo'burg. It's central location and attachment to Rosebank Mall makes it my go-to hotel whenever I'm visiting. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is excellent. Rooms are well appointed and beds are super-comfy.
