Arrival was a lovely welcome from Sue (Soraia), who was very informative and offered a lot of advice re restaurants and transport options - the climb up to 54 Santa Catarina is a climb but hey that’s Lisbon!. Soraia gave us loads of advice and helpful hints, followed by the show round of the apartment which was beautiful. Lots of historic features and charm alongside modern amenities and comfort. Couldn’t have asked for more - probably one of the nicest we’ve stayed in - and a true reflection of the online images. Lovely added extras too, free launderette, coffee pods, rugs for the balcony. Settled in quickly then went to explore Lisbon but every time we returned to the apartment there was a smiling face to welcome us (Ana included) and more assistance when required. Couldn’t fault anything about it, including when we put our washing in the machine someone had put it in the drier for us before we got back downstairs. Apartment is really well equipped for a short stay, comfy bed, great shower, plenty of kitchen stuff if you need it. Locally loads of good restaurants and bars too.

I loved staying at these beautiful apartments. The breakfast comes to your room in a beautiful old-fashioned picnic basket. It’s fresh every day. space is comfortable. The showers are strong. The beds are firm. It’s in one of my favorite neighborhoods of Lisbon and there’s an excellent cocktail bar two blocks to the left. The staff Ana and Sue were very friendly and helpful and they had a warm smile to greet me. Highly recommend.

Hello, I wanted to say that the Santa Catarina apartments are the best I could find in Lisbon. You feel like you're there and that you're part of it. The comfort, the cleanliness, the service, the location, the amenities, the security, and the peace are all excellent. But I especially want to mention Soraya the receptionist. She's not only beautiful but also very professional, attentive, and helpful. She's always going the extra mile and has a smile that inspires you even if you've just arrived tired. She's always looking out for you, and that's very important for someone arriving in an unfamiliar place. Thanks also to all the staff. Rosa

I absolutely LOVED this hotel! For my first time in Europe, this was the perfect introduction. They made it super easy for late arrival, as we got there around 6am. The room itself was so big for a 1 bed hotel, didn't feel crammed with two people at all. The employees were so friendly, and helped us with anything we needed. They even changed our laundry for us and left in our room folded nicely in a bag. I 10/10 recommend this place for anyone staying in Lisbon, the location was also fantastic and we slept in peace and quiet all night. When I return to Lisbon, I'll make sure that this is where I stay!!

I can't imagine a better hotel in all of Lisbon!  Everything was absolutely exceptional!  The location was perfect—close to restaurants, a train station, the famous tram 28 stop, and Time Out food market—yet the small street was very quiet.  We normally stay in Airbnbs because we like the spaciousness of an apartment, but I was so happy that we stayed here instead.  Not only did we have a gorgeous apartment, but we had all of the amenities of a hotel—cleaning service, fresh towels, laundry service, and absolutely delightful women at the front office.  We were there for a week, and I spent a few of those days by myself while my husband was off at a business conference.  I felt very safe walking back to the hotel by myself in the evenings.  I loved that there was always a friendly face poking out of the office when I returned "home." It made me feel that much more comfortable knowing that there was staff aware of the comings and goings of the people in the hotel.  (There was also a keypad lock on the main hotel door.)  I will certainly recommend this hotel to any friends who travel to Lisbon. - J. Loved this apartment. Beautiful, well equipped, beautifully decorated, lovely furniture and comfortable bed. Bathroom was lovely with double sinks and plenty of room. Terrace was lovely and spacious with a great view of the River. Apartment was super quiet, and we slept soundly. Wonderful staff, with a special call out to Ana. We arrived at about 11:30am, and although our room was not ready - we were able to leave our bags. Ana gave us a suggestion for lunch, and then messaged via WhatsApp about an hour later when the room was available. She was even kind enough to take our bags up to our rooms. Ana also gave us some amazing suggestions for dinner, and was very responsive via WhatsApp. There is no lift, and the stairs are quite steep - but worth it when you see the view from the terrace… and also good to ‘work off’ all the delicious food you eat in Lisbon! Location wise it was perfect, out of the crazy hustle and bustle - but a quick walk to restaurants and bars. |Another bonus although we didn’t use it was a free laundry room with a washing machine & dryer. |We wished we could have stayed longer than 2 nights - but will definitely stay here again should we return to Lisbon.

Loved everything about the apartments, clean, spacious and well located. On a hill but what isn’t in Lisbon! The receptionist was so friendly and recommended restaurants to us upon arrival. |Can’t fault anything about it really, we were in a one bedroom luxury apartment which was a few flights of stairs up. Nice view, good housekeeping and close to everything we wanted to see.

The ladies working at the front are super kind and helpful. The vibe of the hotel is really cool, and it has a very good location that makes you feel like you’re experiencing Lisbon as a local! Tons of stores, bars and food options walking distance away. The rooms themselves are older, though the bathroom is pretty nice. The TV is in an odd location and does not have any of the modern features like access to the internet. The sound travels from rooms above you and the staircase outside the room, as if there is no wall at all, which made it super hard for me to sleep every night of my stay. Overall this place is great for people who are not light sleepers!
