Best pork bun i have ever eaten with a dash of mustard soft texture of the bun yummy tasty filling 💥 . presentation is awesome You cant come to japan without trying.

Oh these pork buns are delicious. They’re so meaty and tasty and have a really good pork flavour. Not dry at all, comes in a four pack for 1000 Yen. Well worth trying out. My fave, they have several locations throughout Osaka

We tried the pork steam and Siew mai.. It wasn't so fantastic wow flavor like people review.Maybe from our country the pork steam bun was more tasty especially Siew mai. The 551 Horai bun filling was made from blend mince meats.. especially Siew mai fillings..Can't ate much, it will taste gross.

The larger pork siu mai doesn’t seem to have a lot of flavor and is extremely soft with a consistent texture throughout you’re entire mouthful so if you have no teeth you definitely can eat these bad boys. Or if you have children they can easily eat these with or without teeth. The smaller bite sized shrimp siu mai are more flavorful and go good with the included small packs of hot mustard. They’re small and soft enough you could knock out a six pack of em like a seagull at Coney Island snatching some freedom fries. Pork buns are substantial and one is more than enough to satisfy as a quick snack. Bread to filling ratio is good my only qualm is it seems they’ve wrapped the pork siu mais into dough slapped it into a steamer and called it a day. The two tastes exactly the same. Can also chomp on these without any teeth so for kids this would also be a great choice. Steamed rice with pork in bamboo leaf is missing some pizazz with a very small meat portion. Service is very nice and they include chopsticks, hot mustard and a wet towelette. Accepts tap to pay and credit card. Go when the line is short if you want to experience soft food and skip if the line is long.

Apparently some people say it is a must try in Osaka. Maybe Singapore has better Dim Sum 😂 it’s a fast food chain, mainly all around train stations. Had their Siew Mai and Batuman, which is the pork bun, I feel the dough is too thick for my liking. Siew Mai is very mushy… 🥹 Giving it a 3 stars for the service because the queue is quite organised and it moves quite fast.

Love the Butaman here but not a fan of the queue. Probably not worth the wait but since you are in Osaka, no harm trying out their local specialty!

Got 4 steamed pork buns to share among 5pax. Must must eat when its piping hot, very juicy. It is a good pork bun but was expecting much more after hearing so much rave.

We got the buns and the regular shumai, despite reading the bad reviews. As a cantonese person (where dim sum originated from hong kong), I cannot believe you call this Shumai. It's gross and mushy. There's no texture and the taste is not there. I feel like I ate soaked bread. Theres no snappy shrimp, you can't tell whether it's pork or onions (there shouldn't be so much onion in shumai in the first place) and the flavor is mid. They also give you mustard. That's not right. It's supposed to be soy sauce. Even though its cheap, I feel cheated out of ¥450 and stomach space lol They are fast and the people at the counter are nice, however, so ill give 4 stars for that.
